1. Features
The SKYLIGHT OPTI H/V lamp is dedicated for terrariums
equipped with a glass top. It has been designed specifically
for planted vivariums. A single OPTI H lamp produces an
amount of light sufficient for a 50x50x75 cm tank, while the
OPTI V version is dedicated for very high tanks up to 2,5 m
high. The light spectrum produced by the OPTI H/V lamp is
suitable for photosynthesis and reveals true and vivid colours
of the tank inhabitants.

2. Safety instructions
The product is only intended to be used for vivarium lighting,
indoors and at room temperature.
Follow the installation instructions. Do not install the lamp
inside the terrarium and protect it from water.
Keep children and pets other than your terrarium animals
away from the lamp.
Do not use a mechanically damaged device, do not modify
the construction. Do not switch on the device if any cable
(including the power supply) is damaged.
SKYLIGHT OPTI is a current driven LED Lamp. For this
reason it has to be connected in one of the following
configurations before switching it on. If a double or tripple
set is used, ALL lamps must be connected to the appropriate
power supply using a cable splitter before the setup is
connected to mains.
Only intended to be used with one of the dedicated power
supplies*).
Do not exceed electrical ratings!
Do not look directly into the light source.
Turn the lamp only after it is installed
on the terrarium top.
Do not cover the lamp with rugs or blankets.
3. Installation instructions
The SKYLIGHT BASIC lamp should be placed on the glass top
of the vivarium.
To prevent sliding of the SKYLIGHT BASIC base - use the
rubber stickers (provided with the lamp) and install them on
the underside of the acrylic base (Fig. 1).

The PMMA glass cover of the LED module should be cleaned
using a soft cloth. Do not clean the lamp when it is turned on.
The power supply plug (5.5x2.1 mm) should be installed in
the SKYLIGHT BASIC socket before the power supply mains
plug is connected to the timer.

GSC18E-500, GSC18BE-500
or other power supplies with identical parameters.
CAUTION:
Using an inappropriate power supply will result in damage
to the lamp or power supply itself!
4. . Repairs and utilization
Do not try to repair a damaged lamp. For information about
lamp service contact your supplier. The LED module in this
lamp is not intended to be replaced by unqualified personnel.
LED modules are available from your supplier, contact them
for details.
Product cannot be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste.
According to the directive 2012/19/UE, the device should
be disposed of at designated collection points.
5. Warranty
SKYLIGHT warrants this product to be free of defects in
material and workmanship under normal use for 2 years from
the date of purchase. The obligation of this warranty is
limited to the repair or replacement of defected elements.
No claim shall be allowed under this warranty if, in the
opinion of SKYLIGHT, this product has been subject to
accident or improper usage, including, but not limited to:
water, damage, improper storage, accidental dropping etc.
Please send the damaged device to your supplier including
power supply and cables, the completed warranty card and
receipt. The serial number on the device has to be the same
as in the warranty card. The obligation of this warranty is
limited to the device bought, and no claim shall be allowed
under this warranty due to damage or loss of any other
objects.
