Quick Start Guide

1Connect to the SlingStudio Hub
Connect the SlingStudio™USB-C Expander to the USB-C
port on the SlingStudio Hub.
2Connect to Ethernet (optional)
If you’d like to livestream your multi-camera production
using a high-speed Ethernet connection, connect an
Ethernet cable from your modem or router to the Ethernet
port on the USB-C Expander.

3Connect to External Storage (optional)
If you’d like to import graphics and/or record your
SlingStudio production on an external storage device,
connect your supported* storage device to one of the USB
ports on the USB-C Expander as follows:
•For recording production content – Use a USB 3.0
external hard drive or solid-state drive with write
speeds greater than 40 MB/sec.
•For importing graphics – Use a USB 3.0/2.0 external hard
drive, solid-state drive or ash drive.
