3. Installation
• The product should be places on a stable, non-combustible surface. A
clearance area of at least 10cm on the left and should be maintained. The
backshouldbefromnon-combustiblematerial(suchasbrickwalls,etc.)with
a clearance area of 20cm or more.
• Connect the product to the main socket ensuring that the voltage is the same
as found on the rating plate which is found on the back of the unit.
• Make sure the unit is safely grounded before switching on.
• To replace the power cord, ensure that the same type of cable is used. This
must be done by a professional technician.
• The installation and the maintenance of electrical connections, should be
donebyaprofessionalcertiedtechnician.
4. Operating Procedure
• Ensure that the thermostat is set to 0 before switching on.
• Turn on the unit by pressing the power switch.
• Rotatethethermostatknobclockwisetothedesiredtemperature.The
orange heat indicating light will light up and the unit will start heating. When
the desired temperature is reached, the heat indicating light goes out and unit
switcheso󰀨.Whenthetemperaturedecreasedslightly,theunitwillswitchon
automatically. This cycle will continue until the thermostat setting is changed.
• When the desired temperature is reached, generously oil plates. The unit is
now ready for use.
• Addthewa󰀪emixtothebottomplate.Forbestresults,pourthemixfromthe
outside inward to ensure even browning. Close the lid and set the timer to
the desired time.
• Thetimerwillsoundwhentimeisuptoremindyoutoremovewa󰀪es.
• Alwaysswitcho󰀨theunitwhennishedbakingbyturningthethermostatto0
andswitchingo󰀨thepowerbutton.
Do not touch hot food, liquid or heating surfaces while equipment is
heating or operating. Allow the hot surface to cool before handling

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Always ensure that the unit is disconnected from the main power supply
before cleaning.
• This appliance should not be cleaned with a water jet or immersed in water.
Onlyuseadampclothorspongedippedinsoapywater.Failuretoobserve
this instruction might damage the unit and will void the warranty.
• Wipeo󰀨theappliancewithadryclothandwaitatleast30minutesbeforere-
connecting to the main power outlet.
• TheplatesareTEFLONcoatedandshouldonlybecleanedwithadamp
cloth. Under no circumstances should the plates be cleaned with abrasive
wool as this will void the warranty.
