SafetyInstructions

naturalsgasthat, isveryenvironmentallyfriendlybutalso combustible.Whentrans-
porting andinstallingtheunitcaremustbetakentoensurethatnoneofthe refrig-
erationcircuit componentsbecomedamaged.Inthe eventofdamageavoidnaked
flamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatethe roominwhichthe unitisplacedfora
fewminutes.
Warning: Keep ventilation openings inappliance enclosureorinstructureforbuilding
in,clearofobstruction.
•Donotusemechanicaldevices orotherartificialmeans toacceleratethedefrosting
process.
•Donotuseelectricalappliances intherefrigeratororfreezercompartmentofthe
appliance.

No-frostrefrigeratorsdifferfromotherstaticrefrigerators
intheiroperating principle.
Innormalfridges,the humidityenteringthe fridge due to
dooropeningsandthehumidityinherentinthe foodcauses
freezing inthe freezerdepartment. Todefrostthefrostandice
inthefreezercompartment, youareperiodicallyrequired to
turnoffthe fridge,placethefoodthatneedstobe keptfrozen
inaseparatelycooledcontainer,andremovetheicegath-
eredinthefreezerdepartment.
Thesituationiscompletelydifferentinno-frostfridges.Dry
andcoldairisblownintothefridgeand freezercompartments
homogeneouslyand evenlyfromseveralpointsviaablower
fan.Coldairdispersed homogeneouslyandevenlybetween
theshelvescoolsallofyourfoodequallyand uniformly,thus
preventing humidityandfreezing.
Thereforeyourno-frostfridgeallowsyoueaseofuse,in
additiontoitshuge capacityandstylish appearance.

•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothe powersupply,ensurethatthe voltage onthe
nameplatecorrespondstothevoltage ofthe electricalsystematyourhome.
•Operating voltage foryourfridge is220-240Vat50Hz.
•Beforestartingtouseyourfridge,pleasecontactthenearestauthorized servicerif
helpisneeded withthe installation,operationandusageofyourfridge.
•The mainpowercordofyourfridgehas agroundedplug.Thisplug
shouldbeused withagrounded receptaclethathasa16amper
fuse minimum.Ifyoudon’thave areceptacleconformingwiththis,
pleasehaveone installedbyaqualifiedelectrician.
•Wedonottake responsibilityforanydamages thatoccurdue to
ungrounded usage.
•Placeyourfridgeinaplacewhereit isnotexposedtodirectsun-
light.
•Yourappliance shouldbe atleast50 cmaway fromstoves,ovens
andheatercores,and shouldbeatleast5cmaway fromelectrical
ovens.
•Thisappliance shouldneverbeusedoutdoorsorleftunderthe

•Installthedistanceadjustmentplastic(thepartwithblack vanesattherear)byturn-
ingit90°topreventthecondenserfromtouching the wall.
•Theadjustablefrontlegsshouldbe setatanappropriateheighttoallowyourfridge
tooperateinastableandproperway.You canadjustthelegsbyturningthemclock-
wiseorcounter-clockwise.Thisshouldbe donebeforeplacingfoodinthefridge.
•Beforeusing yourfridge,wipeallpartswithwarmwatermixed withateaspoonfulof
sodiumbicarbonateandthenrinsewithcleanwaterand dry.Aftercleaning,replace
allpartsintheirproperlocationsinthefridge.
BeforeUsingyourFridge
•Whenoperatedforthe firsttimeoraftertransportation,keepyour
fridge inthe uprightpositionforatleast3hoursbeforeplugging it
intoallowefficientoperation.Otherwise,youmaydamagethe
compressor.
•Yourfridgemayhaveaslightodorwhen it isoperatedforthe firsttime.Theodorwill
fadeaway whenyourfridge startstocool.

CoolerandFreezerThermostatKnob
Coolingcompartment
Thethermostatensuresthatthetemperaturesettingsinthe coolingand freezingcom-
partmentsofyourrefrigeratorarecontrolledautomatically.Itmay be settoanyvalue rang-
ingfrom1to6.Asyouturnthe thermostatsetting knobfrom1to6,theamountofcooling
increases.
Coolingcompartmentthermostatknob:
5-6: Formorecooling.
3-5: Fornormalutilization.
1-3: Forlesscooling.

WarningsforTemperatureSettings
•Itisnotrecommended thatyouoperateyourfridgeinenvironmentscolderthan 10°C
intermsofitsefficiency.
•Thethermostatsettingshouldbe donebytakingintoconsiderationhowoftenthe
freshfoodand freezerdoorsareopenedandclosed,howmuchfood isstoredinthe
refrigerator,andtheenvironmentinwhichtherefrigeratorislocated.
•Yourfridgeshouldbeoperatedupto24 hoursaccording totheambienttemperature
withoutinterruptionafterbeing pluggedintobecompletelycooled.Donotopen
doorsofyourfridgefrequentlyanddo notplacemuchfood inside itinthisperiod.
•A5minutedelaying functionisappliedtopreventdamage tothe compressorofyour
fridge,whenyoutaketheplugoffand thenplug itonagaintooperateit orwhenan
energybreakdownoccurs.Yourfridgewillstarttooperatenormallyafter5minutes.
•Yourfridgeisdesignedtooperateintheambient
temperatureintervalsstatedinthe standards,
accordingtothe climateclassstatedinthe
informationlabel. It isnotrecommendedthatyour
fridge isoperated intheenvironmentswhichare

•Use the deepfreeze compartmentofyourrefrigeratorforstoringthefrozen foodfora
long timeandforproducingice.
•Placethefoodyouwouldliketofreezeinitiallyintheupperbasketofthe deepfreeze
sectioninsuch awaythatitshall notexceedthedeclaredfreezing capacityofyour
refrigerator.Youmayplace yourfood nexttothe otherfrozen foods aftertheyare
frozen(foratleast24hours).
•Itisrecommendedtokeepthermostatsetatlevel5.
•Itisrecommendedthatthefoodwhich isbeingnewlyfrozen be keptseparatefrom
thealreadyfrozenfood.
•Foodsshouldbefrozen insingleportionsized containers.
•Donotrefreezethefrozenfoodonceitisthawed. Itmay pose adangertoyourhealth

•Frozenfoodhastobe transportedbeforeit thawsandit shouldbe placed inthefast
freezingshelfassoonas possible.Please donotusethedoorshelves forfast
freezing purposes.
•Ifthefrozenfoodpackagehas beenhumidified and it has afoulodor,thefoodmight
have previouslybeenstoredunderunsuitableconditions andbecomespoiled.

•The storagedurationsoffrozenfoodchange dependingonthe environmental
temperatures,the frequentopening andclosingofthedoors,thermostatsettings,
food types,and the periodoftimethatelapsed fromwhen thefoodwasacquiredto
thetimeitenteredthefreezer.Alwaysabide bythe instructions on the packageand
neverexceedthestorage duration.
•During extendedpoweroutages,pleasedo notopenthedoorofthedeepfreeze
compartment. Yourrefrigeratorwill preserveyourfrozenfood intheambient
environmentaltemperatureof25°Cforabout13hours.Thispreservation timeperiod
decreases thehighertheambientenvironmentaltemperatures are.During longer
lasting powercuts,youshouldnotrefreezeyourfood.

plughasbeenconnected?
•Arethereanyfaultswiththesocket?Forthispurpose,trytheplugofyourrefrigerator
byconnectingittoasocketwhichyou aresureisworking.
Ifyourrefrigeratordoes not getcoldenough:
•Isthethermostatsetinthecoldestposition?
•Arethe doorsofyourrefrigeratoropenedveryfrequentlyand do they remainopenfor
long periodsoftime?
•Dothe doorsofyourrefrigeratorfullyclosedand arethedoorgasketssealing
correctly?
•Areanycontainersordishes placedinyourrefrigeratorcontactingthe backwallin
such awaythattheyareobstructingtheaircirculation?
•Isyourrefrigeratorover-filled?
•Isthereenoughspace betweenyourrefrigeratorandthebackand sidewalls?
Ifthefood inthe Cooling/Freezing compartmentiscolderthannecessary:
•Hasasuitabletemperaturesettingbe made? (Arethethermostatknobs inthe
position “5”?)
•Istheretoo muchnewlyplacedfoodinthedeepfreeze compartment?
If thereis, the compressorshalloperatelongerforfreezing it; henceit mayalsopossibly
be coolingthe foodinthe coolingcompartmentmorethannecessary.
Ifyourrefrigeratorisoperatingnoisily:
Thecompressorshallfromtimetotimeenergizetoensurethattheadjustedcoolness
levelremainfixed.Thenoises thatmaybeheardfromtherefrigeratoratthattimeare
normalasrequiredbyfunction.
Oncethe requiredcoolness levelhas been achieved,thenoises shouldautomatically
diminish.
Ifthereisstill noise:

CompressorNoise:

Bubblingandgurglingsound:
•Thisnoise isemittedasthe coolantfluidflowsthroughthepipeswithinthesystem.
Waterflowingsound:
•Thisisthe normalsoundofwaterflowing intothedraintroughduringthedefrosting
process.
Airblowing sound:
•Itisthenormalfansound. ThissoundmaybeheardduetoaircirculationinNoFrost
refrigeratorswhenthe systemisoperating normally.
Iftheedgesof therefrigeratorcabinetcontactedby thedoorsealarehot:
•Especiallyinsummermonths (inhotweather),theremightbewarmingof the surfaces
contactedbythe sealontherefrigerator.Thisisnormal.
Ifthereismoistureontheinnerpartsofyourrefrigerator:
•Hasthefoodbeen properlypackagedandsealed?Havethecontainersbeenwell
driedbeforetheywereputintotherefrigerator?
•Arethedoorsoftherefrigeratoropenedveryfrequently?Oncethedoorisopened,
thehumidityfound intheairintheroomenterstherefrigerator.Especiallyifthe
humiditylevelsintheroomareveryhigh.The morefrequentlythe doorisopened,
the fasterwillbe the humidification.
