environmentalfriendlybutalsocombustible.Whentransporting and installing the
unitcaremustbe takentoensurethatnoneoftherefrigerationcircuitcomponents
becomedamaged.Inthe eventofdamage avoidnakedflamesorignitionsources
andventilatetheroominwhich theunitisplacedforafewminutes.
•Ifthisapplianceistoreplacean oldrefrigeratorwithalock;breakorremovethelock
as asafetymeasurebeforestoringit, toprotectchildrenwhileplaying mightlock

InstallationandSwitching OnTheAppliance
•Thisappliance isconnectingto220-240Vand 50 Hz.
•You canofferhelpfromtheservice toinstalland switchingontheappliancewithout
anycost.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthevoltage onthe
nameplatecorresponds tothevoltageofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•If thesocketdoesnotmatchtherefrigeratorplug,replacethe plug withasuitable
one(atleast16 A)
•Insert the plugintoasocketwithanefficientgroundconnection.If thesockethas no
groundcontact,wesuggestyoucallanelectricianforassistance.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletethegroundconnection as
describedinthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopen airand shallnotbeexposedtothe rain.
•Placetherefrigeratorfarfromheatsourcesand inawell-venti-
latedposition.Therefrigeratorshouldbeatleast50cmfrom

•Keepthetopfree foratleast15 cm.

•Installthedistance adjustmentplastic(the part withblackvanes
attherear)byturningit 90°topreventthe condenserfromtouch-
ingthewall.
•Theappliancemustbestandfirmlyandlevelonthe floorUse
thetwofrontlevelling-feettocompensateforanevenfloor.
•Inordertohaveaircirculationunderthe appliance,thespace
undertheappliance mustbe open.Don’tclose itwithcarpet,
etc.
•The outsideoftheapplianceand theaccessoriesinsideshould
be cleanedwithasolutionofwaterand liquidsoap;the inside
ofthe appliance withsodiumbicarbonatedissolvedinlukewarm
water.Afterdryingreplace allthe accessories.

ThermostatSetting
FREEZERTHERMOSTATREFRIGERATORTHERMOSTAT
Freezerandrefrigeratorthermostatautomaticallyregulatesthe inside temperatureof
thecompartments.Byrotating the knobfromposition 1to5,coldertemperatures canbe
obtained.Incoldseasons,youcansetlowerpositions inordertodecreasetheenergy
consumption.
FreezerThermostatSetting;
1–2: Forshort-termstorage offoodinthefreezercompartment, you canset theknob
betweenminimumandmediumposition.
3–4:Forlong-termstorage offoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansetknob
mediumposition.
5: Forfreezingthe freshfood.Th appliancewillworklonger. Afteryou get thecold
condition youmustpositiontoitsoriginalposition.
RefrigeratorThermostat Setting;
1–2:Forlesscoldlyconditions.
3–4:Fornormalconditions.
5:Forcolderconditions.
•Notethat;theambienttemperature,temperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodand how
oftenthe doorisopened,affectsthetemperatureintherefrigeratorand freezercom-
partment.If required,change the temperaturesetting.
•Whenyou firstswitch ontheappliance,forstarting asuitablecooling,theappliance
shouldwork24hourscontinuouslyuntilit coolsdowntosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonotopenthe doorsooften andplace alot offoodinsidetheappliance.
•Iftheunit isswitchedoff orunplugged,you mustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged the unitinordernottodamagethe compressor.
BeforeSwitchingOn
•Wait after3hoursbeforepluggingtheapplianceintothemainpower
toensureproperperformance.
•Therecanbean odourwhenyoufirstswitch on the appliance.Itwill

ChillerShelf
Keepingfood intheChillercompartmentallows
food retainfreshness and flavourlonger,whilepre-
serving itsfreshappearance.When chillertraybe-
comes dirty,removeitandwash it withwater.

Drawercompartmenthas fourpieces of

Crisperand CrisperShelf
Thecrispercompartmentabsorbsanddecomposes ethylenegas (*) emittedfrom
fruitsandvegetableswitha“FILTER”inthe crispershelf,keeping fruitsandvegetables
fresh.Thefilteralsoeliminatesunpleasantodoursfrominsidethecrisper,and control
theexcess waterreleasedbythevegetables,maintaining ahigh humidityenvironment
inside thecrisper.Whenthecrispershelfbecomedirty,removethefilterbytakingoutthe
filtercoverandwashthecrispercoverwithwater.

•Neverplacewarmfoodintherefrigerator. Warmfood shouldbeallowedtocoolatroomtem-
peratureandshouldbearrangedtoensureadequateaircirculationinthe refrigeratorcom-
partment.
•Arrangethemeatandcleanedfish(wrapped inpackagesor sheetsof plastic) whichyouwill
usein1-2days.
•Youcanput thefruitsandvegetablesintocrisper without packing.
FreezerCompartment
•Tosetthe freezercompartment to2-3graphicbarwill be enoughfornormalconditions.
•The useoffreezeris,storing ofdeep-frozen orfrozenfoods forlongperiodsoftimeand
making icecubes.
•Donotputfresh and warmfoods tothefreezerdoorshelvestobefrozen.Onlyusefor

andshouldbereturned tothefreezingsurfacesoftheunitinthe shortestpossibletime.
•If apackageof frozenfoodshowsthesignofhumidityand abnormal swellingit isprobablethat
ithasbeenpreviouslystored atan unsuitabletemperatureand thatthecontentshave deterio-
rated.
• The storage lifeoffrozenfoods dependsontheroomtemperature,thermostatsetting,
howoften thedoorisopened,the typeoffoodandthelengthof timerequired totransportthe
productfromtheshoptoyourhome. Alwaysfollowtheinstructions printedonthe package
andnever exceed themaximumstoragelifeindicated.
