SBH-H100 Quick Guide
Enjoy the various functions of HORN BT ReaderTM. (Search for “HORN BT Reader ” in Google Play™ and
install the application in advance)
Pairing and Connecting
1. From the HORN BT Reader TM application (for Android™ devices)
- With the power off, press the CALL button and slide the Power switch to the ON position at the same time
for 2 seconds.
- Select the Easy connection menu from the application.
- Search for new devices and select SBH-H100 from the list of devices.
* To download the application, search for the HORN BT Reader TM application in Google Play TM or scan the
QR code below. Follow the installation instructions.

2. Manual Pairing (pairing with another phone or re-pairing)
- With the power off, press the CALL button and slide the Power switch to the ON position at the same time
for 2 seconds.
- On the device you wish to pair, find the Bluetooth menu and search for or add new devices.
- Select SBH-H100 from the list of devices to pair it.
* Once the device is paired, this pairing procedure is no longer required for the same device.

Function How to use
Current time alert
Slide the FF/REW switch to the FF position for 1 second.
Read latest SMS or MMS
Slide the FF/REW switch to the REW position for 1 second.
Direct dial
Press the CALL button twice (select Direct dial and set the telephone
number from Speed Dial menu of HORN BT Reader TM).
Favorite call
1. Press the CALL button twice.
2. Select the name to call by sliding the FF/REW switch for 1 second.
3. Press the CALL button twice to call (select Favorite call and set
telephone number from the Speed Dial menu of HORN BT Reader TM).
Dial using Call History
1. Press the CALL button twice.
2. Select the name to call by sliding the FF/REW switch for 1 second.
3. Press the CALL button twice to call (select Call history and set the
telephone number from the Speed Dial menu of HORN BT Reader TM).
Calling
(Answer a Call)
- When there is an incoming call, the headset will ring and vibrate. Briefly press the CALL button to answer
the incoming call.
* SBH-H100 will not vibrate if vibration function is on ‘off’.
Make a Call (Last Number Redial)
-Press and hold the CALL button for 1 second
Make a Call (Voice Dial)

-Briefly press the CALL button to activate your handset’s voice commend menu.
Call Waiting
-Press and hold the CALL button for 1 second.
Call Reject
-Press and hold the CALL button for 2 seconds when the headset rings. (Speech: Call rejected)
Audio Streaming
-Play
: Briefly press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button.
-Pause
: While playing music, briefly press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button.
-Stop
: While playing music, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button for 1 second.
-Next Song
: Briefly slide the FF/REW switch to the FF position.
-Previous Song
: Briefly slide the FF/REW switch to the REW position.
-Fast Forward
: Slide and hold the FF/REW switch to the FF position.
-Rewind
: Slide and hold the FF/REW switch to the REW position.

Equalizer
-While playing music, slide the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button twice to switch between Bass Boost (Default),
Normal, and Treble Boost.
aptX ®
The SBH-H100 features aptX® technology that ensures audio content transmitted via Bluetooth is
instant and crystal-clear.
-aptX® is automatically enabled as long as the source device supports it.
Vibrate Control
-To activate or deactivate the Vibrate function, slide the VOLUME switch to the - position for 2 seconds.
You will hear “Vibrate on” or “Vibrate off” when it is activated or deactivated.
-When the HBS-900 is set to vibrate off, and the HBS-900 will not vibrate when receiving an incoming call or
when it is out of range.
-By powering the unit off and then powering the unit back on, the vibration functionality will be activated.
Battery Status Alert
-To check the battery status, slide the VOLUME switch to the + position for 1 second.
-There are 3 levels of battery status: “Battery high,”“Battery medium”, and “Battery low.”
-The SBH-H100 battery status indicator will appear on the iPhone screen.
