Maintenance
Please remove the Bluetooth headphones from this
device before washing, this can be done through the
Earphone access slot (see chapter 4. Part Names and
Functions).

5. Operations
5.1 Switch On / Off
To switch the device on, press and hold the Enter button until the
device chimes. When on, the status LED flashes blue.
To switch the device off, press and hold the Enter button for 3
seconds, until the device chimes. The status LED will flash red
then turn off.
5.2 Bluetooth connections
To pair to a device, turn the EPA20/ off, then press and hold the
Enter button for 7 seconds to enter pairing mode. Whilst in pairing
mode, the status LED flashes red and blue. If required, the password
for pairing is: 0000
- For Mobile Phones
1) Scan for available Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone ( see
your mobile phone user manual for instructions if needed)
2) Select “EPA20/ ” from the available devices and confirm
connection.
3) The status LED will flash blue to indicate a successful connection.
Note: Accessing Bluetooth settings on mobile phones varies for
each phone, to find the information for your phone, please
refer to its user manual.
- For computers
1) Enable the Bluetooth function on your computer.
2) Select “Devices and Printers” from the Control Panel and click
“Add a device” to start scanning for new devices.

3) Select “EPA20/30” from the available devices, the system will
install the driver automatically.
Note: For Windows XP and Vista, a third-party Bluetooth driver is
needed (not included).
4) The status LED flashes blue to indicate a successful connection.
5) To output sound from your computer to the EPA20/30 hat, select
“Sound” from the Control Panel, then select the “EPA20/30”
and click “Set Default”. All sound from your computer will now
play from the EPA20/30 hat.
Note: When switched on, the EPA20/30 will automatically
reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device if it is in range.
5.3 Remote Control
The EPA20/30 is able to control the music playing on either a
mobile phone or a computer with a Bluetooth connection.
Press “ “ to pause or resume playing music.
Press and hold “ “ or “ ” to decrease or increase the volume.
When maximum volume is reached a chime is heard.
Press “ “ or “ ” momentarily to go to the previous or next track.
Note: Music playing control is only compatible with devices that
support A2DP. Please refer to your device’s user manual for
its A2DP compatibility.
5.4 Hands-free Calling
Whilst connected to your mobile phone, the EPA20/30 will act as a
hands-free system for calls.
Press “ “ to pick up or hang up a call.
Press “ “ twice to re-dial the last phone number.
6. Charging
Connect the EPA20/30 to a powered USB port by using the
provided USB charging cable. While charging, the power LED
will light red, and go off when the battery is fully charged.

9.Warranty
This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the
original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to
faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be either replaced or
repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An
alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer
available or repairable.
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance
to the instructions given in this user manual.
The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
The warranty only covers the main unit, and does not cover the
accessories.
The warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse,
negligence, accident and natural disaster.
The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or
has been damaged by inexpert repairs. The manufactures disclaim
any liability for incidental or consequential damages.

5.1 Allumer / Eteindre l’appareil
Afin de mettre l’appareil en marche, appuyer et maintenir appuyé
l’interrupteur. Lorsqu’allumé et non connecté, la DEL d’indication
sera bleu clignotante.
Afin d’éteindre l’appareil, appuyer et maintenir appuyé
l’interrupteur pendant 3 secondes. La DEL d’indication clignotera
rouge avant de s’éteindre.
5.2 Connexion Bluetooth
Afin de connecter un appareil, éteindre le EPA20/ , puis l’allumer
en appuyant et restant appuyé sur l’interrupteur pendant 7 secondes
afin d’entrer en mode d’appairage. Lorsqu’en mode d’appairage,
la DEL d’indication clignotera alternativement rouge et bleu.
- À un téléphone portable
1. Lancer une recherche d’appareil Bluetooth à proximité sur votre
téléphone portable (veuillez vous référer au mode d’emploi de
votre appareil si nécessaire).
2. Sélectionner « EPA20/ » dans la liste des appareils à proximité
et confirmer la connexion.
3. La DEL d’indication clignotera bleu lorsque connecté.
- À un Ordinateur Bluetooth
1. Allumer le Bluetooth de votre ordinateur.
2. Aller dans Panneau de Configuration « imprimantes et autres
périphériques » et cliquer sur « ajouter un périphérique » pour
lancer la recherche.
3. Double cliquer sur l’icône « EPA20/ » afin de vous connecter
à l’appareil. Le driver du EPA20 sera installé automatiquement.

4. Une fois la connexion établie, la DEL d’indication clignotera bleu.
5. Pour envoyer et jouer le son de votre ordinateur sur le EPA20/30,
sélectionner « Sons et périphériques audio » dans le Panneau de
configuration ; puis sélectionner le EPA20/30 et cliquer sur
« définir par défaut ». Tout son sera alors transféré sur le EPA20/
30.
5.3 Contrôle de votre appareil
Le EPA20/30 est capable de contrôler la musique en cours de
lecture de votre appareil Bluetooth.
Appuyer sur pour mettre en pause ou reprendre la lecture en
cours.
Appuyer et maintenir appuyé ou pour baisser ou augmenter le
volume. Lorsque le volume est au maximum, un bip d’alerte se fera
entendre.
Appuyer ou pour aller vers la piste précédente ou suivante.
Remarque : le contrôle de la musique est uniquement compatible
avec les appareils supportant A2DP. Veuillez vous référer au mode
d’emploi de votre appareil pour plus d’information.
5.4 Fonction Kit Main-Libre
Lorsque connecté à un téléphone via Bluetooth, le EPA20/30 fera
office de kit main-libre.
Appuyer afin de décrocher ou raccrocher lors d’un appel entrant.
Appuyer deux fois d’affilé sur pour recomposer le dernier
numéro du journal d’appel.
6. Recharger l’appareil
Afin de recharger la batterie, veuillez utiliser le câble micro USB
fourni pour connecter le EPA20/30 à un port USB alimenté.
La DEL d’indication sera rouge continue lors de la charge et
s’éteindra une fois la batterie complètement chargée.

5. Bedienung
5.1 Ein- und Ausschalten
Um das Gerät einzuschalten, halten Sie die Enter Taste gedrückt
bis das Gerät „läutet“. Während das Gerät eingeschaltet und nicht
verbunden ist, blinkt die Status LED blau. Um das Gerät
einzuschalten.
Um das Gerät auszuschalten, halten Sie die Enter Taste 3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt, bis das Gerät “läutet”. Die Status LED blinkt rot und
erlischt anschließend.
5.2 Bluetooth Verbindung
Um das Gerät zu koppeln, schalten Sie den EPA20/30 aus. Halten
Sie nun die Enter-Taste 7 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um in den
Koppelungsmodus zu gelangen. Im Koppelungsmodus blinkt die
Status LED abwechselnd rot und blau. Falls ein Passcode benötigt
wird, nutzen Sie „0000“.

bestätigen Sie die Verbindung.

Hinweis: Die Bluetooth-Einstellungen variieren je nach

- Für Computer
1. Schalten Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion Ihres Computers ein.
2. Wählen Sie “Geräte und Drucker” in der Systemsteuerung und
klicken auf “Gerät hinzufügen”, um nach neuen Geräten zu suchen.
3. Wählen Sie nach Beendigung des Scanvorganges “ EPA20/30”
aus der Ergebnisliste aus. Die Treiber für den EPA20/30 werden
automatisch installiert.
Hinweis: Für Windows XP und Vista ist ein separater
Bluetooth-Treiber notwendig (nicht mitgeliefert).
4. Die Status LED blinkt im Sekundenrhythmus doppelt, während
das Gerät gekoppelt ist.
5. Um die Soundwiedergabe über den EPA20/30 zu ermöglichen,
wählen Sie „Sound“ in der Systemsteuerung; anschließend
klicken Sie EPA20/30 und wählen „Als Standard festlegen“. Alle
Audiosignale werden nun über den EPA20/30 wiedergegeben.
Hinweis: Der EPA20/30 versucht automatisch eine Verbindung mit
dem zuletzt verbundenen Gerät aufzubauen nachdem es
eingeschaltet wird.
5.3 Steuerung der Musikwiedergabe
Der EPA20/30 kann die von dem verbundenen Gerät (Mobiltelefon
oder Computer) abgespielte Musikwiedergabe steuern.
Drücken Sie “ “ um die Wiedergabe anzuhalten oder fortzusetzen.
Halten Sie “ “ oder “ ” gedrückt um die Lautstärke zusteuern.
Ist die Maximallautstärke erreicht, ertönt ein Warnton.
Drücken Sie “ “ oder “ ”um zum vorherigen oder
nachfolgenden Titel zu gelangen.
Hinweis: Die Musiksteuerung funktioniert mit Geräten, die das
Bluetooth-Profil A2DP unterstützen. Bitte prüfen Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Mobiltelefons bezüglich der
Kompatibilität mit A2DP
5.4 Freisprechen
Während der Verbindung mit Ihrem Mobiltelefon kann der EPA20/
30 als Freisprecheinrichtung für Anrufe genutzt werden.
Drücken Sie “ “ um Anrufe entgegenzunehmen oder aufzulegen.

5. Operare il dispositivo
5.1 Accendere / Spegnere il dispositivo
Per accendere il dispositivo, si deve premere e tenere premuto
l’interruttore. Quando non connesso, la spia lampeggerà Blu.
Per spegnere il dispositivo, premere e tenere premuto l’interrutore
per 3 scondi. La spia lampeggerà rosso prima di spegnersi.
5.2 Connessione Bluetooth
Per connettere un dispositivo, si deve prima di tutto spegnere il
EPA20/30. Poi, premere e tenere premuto l’interruttore per 7
secondi per entrare in modalità di ricerca. Quando in modalità di
ricerca, la spia lampeggerà alternativamente rosso e blu.
- Connettere ad un cellulare
1. Cercare per connessione Bluetooth sul telefonino (fare
riferimento al manuale di istruzioni del telefono per ulteriori
informazioni).
2. Selezionare “EPA20/30” nella lista dei dispositivi Bluetooth.
3. Dopo aver connesso il EPA20/30 con successo, la spia
lampeggerà blu.
- Connettere ad un computer Windows
1. Accendere il Bluetooth del computer
2. Nel pannello di controllo, selezionare “hardware e suoni” poi
“aggiungi stampante”
3. Selezionare “EPA20/30” nella lista per installare i drivers
(automatico).
Nota: Per Windows XP e Vista, un driver Bluetooth di terza parte
è necessario (non fornito).

4. La spia lampeggerà blu indicando il successo della connessione.
5. Se i suoni non vengono riprodotti automaticamente sul EPA20/30,
andare su "Suoni e periferiche audio" nel Pannello di controllo,
quindi selezionare il EPA20/30 e fare clic su "Imposta come
predefinito".
Nota:quando si accende il EPA20/30, si connette automaticamente
al ultimo dispositivo connesso se quest ultimo è vicino.
5.3 Controllo a distanza
Il berrettino è capabile di controllare a distanza la musica che viene
suonata del telefonino via Bluetooth.
Premere per pausare o riprendere la musica in corso di lettura.
Premere e tenere premuto o per abbassare o aumentare il
volume. Quando il volume è al massiamo, si potrà sentire un bip.
Premere o per andare al brano precedente o prossimo.
Nota: il controllo della musica aviene solo per i dipositivi che
supportano A2DP. Si prega di fare riferimento al manuale di
istruzione del telefonino stesso per ne sapere di più.
5.4 Funzione VivaVoce
Quando connesso ad un telefonino, il EPA20/30 sarà un sistema
VivaVoce per tutte le chiamate entrante.
Premere per rispondere ad una chiamata o chiuderla.
Doppia premere per telefonare al ultimo numero del giornale di
chiamate.
6. Carica del dispositivo
Connettere il EPA20/30 ad una porta USB aliemntata usando del
cavo fornito. Quando caricando, la spia LED sarà Rossa e si spegnerà
quando la batteria sarà caricata.

5.1 Encender / Apagar
Para encender el dispositivo, mantenga pulsado el botón Enter hasta
que el dispositivo emita un bip. Mientras esté encendido y no
emparejado con ningún otro dispositivo, el LED de estado
parpadeará en azul.
Para apagar el dispositivo, mantenga pulsado el botón Enter durante
3 segundos hasta que el dispositivo emita un bip. El LED de estado
parpadeará en rojo y se apagará.

Para emparejar el EPA20/30 a otro dispositivo, mantenga pulsado
ENTER durante 7 segundos para así entrar en modo de

sincronización, el LED de estado parpadeará rojo y azul. Si fuese
necesario, la contraseña para el emparejamiento es 0000.
- Teléfonos móviles
1) Busque dispositivos disponibles en su teléfono móvil (consulte
el manual de usuario de su teléfono móvil si necesitase ayuda)
2) Seleccione ´EPA20/30´ de entre los dispositivos disponibles y
confirme la conexión
3) El LED de estado parpadeará azul para indicarle que la conexión
se ha realizado con éxito
Nota: Los ajustes Bluetooth varían entre marcas y modelos de
teléfonos móviles. Consulte el manual de usuario de su
terminal si fuese necesario
