Performance Characteristics
SPA-XX i a low noi e high-performance Er Yb co-doped fiber amplifier. Each output
built-in CWDM (1310/1490/1550) wavelength divi ion multiplexer. Conveniently
multiplex the data tream of OLT and ONU to the fiber amplifier output by 1310nm
and 1490nm optical connector. Thu reduced the equipment quantity, improved the
y tem indexe and reliability. It i the ideal equipment for FTTx network, provide a
flexible and low co t olution for the integration of three network and the FTTH.
Adopt Er Yb Codoped double-clad fiber technology;
Output port : 4-16 optional;
Optical output power: total output up to 5W;
Low noi e figure: <5dB when input i 0dBm;
Perfect network management interface, in line with tandard SNMP network
management;
Intelligent temperature control y tem make the power con umption lower;

Front Panel escription
Schematic diagram of the front panel
1)
Power indicator: One witching power upply i working – yellow; two witching
power upplie are working – green.
2)
Optical input power indicator:Thi light turn on when the optical input power
i > -10dBm.
3)
Pump working tatu indicator: Red light mean the pump i not working, but
the machine parameter are normal; fla hing red light mean the machine ha
broken down, related fault rea on ee the alarm menu of the di play menu;
green light mean the pump i working normal.
4)
Optical output power indicator: Thi light turn on when the optical output
power i > +10dBm.

160×32 dot-matrix LCD creen: u ed to di play all the parameter of the
machine.

Di play the exit or cancel key of the etup menu.

Optical ignal input: The default connector type i SC/APC. Other pecification

“ON” mean the pump la er i open and “OFF” mean the pump la er i clo ed.
En ure the key i on “OFF” po ition before power on. After pa ing elf-te t,
rotate the key to “ON” po ition according to the di played me age.

Public port (COM port): Thi interface i the 1550nm ignal output port of the
device, al o i the 1310&1490nm ignal in/out port. Port number: 4-16
optional.
Warning: There i an invi ible la er beam from thi port while working normal.
