GETTING STARTED WITH SOLOS
IN THE BOX
Solos glasses, Micro-USB cable, Cloth, Case, Quick Start Guide.

CHARGING LOCATION
To charge your Solos just ip open the tab.
Close it before starting your activity.
CHARGING INDICATOR
The LED provides important device status
information like low battery indication.
The LED will ash green when the unit
is charging and will appear solid green
when fully charged.
CHARGING CONNECTION
Connect +5V Power

If you cannot see the full image left-
right, very gently hold the pupil display
to slide it in and out of the display
housing to suit your eye position.
ADJUST THE DISPLAY ARM
The display arm includes two hinges
to allow you to position the display
comfortably. The side hinge rotates the
entire optics position up and down.
The front hinge adjusts the viewing
position. Hold the display arm and
gently move up and down.
Caution: Do not pull the
optics module outward,
away from the frame.

POWERING ON AND OFF
Press the middle button to power up your
unit. The green light will illuminate briey.
Hold the middle button for >5 seconds to
power o your unit. It will say goodbye
to you.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Avoid storing the device in extreme temperatures for a prolonged period.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, detergents, or cleaners on the unit.
- After use, clean using a microber cloth to remove sweat, water, etc.
- Device contains electronic components, proper disposal required.

subject to the following two conditions:

BEFORE YOU USE SOLOS

When using Solos always ensure that you keep your eyes focussed on the road
and your surroundings. Solos is designed as to provide “information snacking”,
that is a quick glance for information and you should not spend lengthy periods
looking at the display while in motion. Ensure that you position the display such
that it does not obscure your vision.
Solos should not be used for direct observation of the sun or other bright light
sources. Solos should not be used while driving, and should not be used if your
eld of view is aected or if you cannot see clearly. Solos is not intended to be
used for impact protection in sports or industrial uses, although the lenses do
meet relevant impact resistance safety tests.

FCC Compliance
Section 15.21 requires that in the user manual, the user shall be cautioned that
changes / modications not approved by the responsible party could void the
user’s authority to operate the equipment.
For a Class B digital device or peripheral, the instructions furnished the user
shall include the following or similar statement, placed in a prominent location
in the text of the manual (source):

Solos asks you to ensure the proper disposal, reuse, recycling and recovery of
batteries and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Batteries and
WEEE should not be disposed of in normal domestic waste bins.

(i) or (ii), pay a proportionate refund of the
purchase price You paid for the Product
based on Kopin’s good faith estimate of the
portion thereof attributable to Kopin. Where
the Product is repaired or replaced during
the Warranty Period, except as otherwise

service or support under this Limited

Where there has been a replacement of
the Product, the Product or its parts, as
provided pursuant to the Limited Warranty,
becomes Your property and the Product
being replaced becomes Kopin’s property.
Where there is a refund, You will return the
Product to Kopin and such Product becomes
Kopin’s property. Kopin may condition a
refund or replacement on You returning the
product or require You to provide a credit
card number, which will be charged only if
You fail to return the Product. Exclusions
The Limited Warranty does not apply:
a) to normal wear and tear;
b) if the Product or any of its part is opened,
disassembled, or repaired by someone not
authorized by Kopin;
These terms and conditions apply to your
purchase of any hardware (“the Product”)
manufactured by or for Kopin Display
Corporation (“Kopin”). Any reference in this
Limited Warranty to the term “You” refers to
the original buyer of any Product.
1 Warranty Terms
a) Kopin warrants to You that the Product
will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal and intended
use for one (1) year from the original date of
purchase by You (the “Warranty Period”). The
Limited Warranty is not transferable by You.
All subsequent purchasers acquire the Product
“as is” without benet of this Limited Warranty.
Where You purchased the Product from Kopin’s
website or other online vendors the date of
purchase is the date of the purchase invoice
issued to You by Kopin or such online vendors
by email. Where You purchased the Product
from an authorized reseller at a physical
location, the date of purchase is the date of the
invoice issued to you at the physical location.
b) In the event Kopin determines that the
Product is defective, Kopin may in its
discretion: (i) repair the defective part of the
Product free of charge with new or refurbished
parts; (ii) replace the defective Product with a
comparable new or refurbished product; or (iii)
in the event that Kopin is unable to repair
