Installa n Instruc ons
This fixture mustbe installed in accordance with the N onal ElectricCode and local code specifica ons.
Failure to follow these codes and installa on instruc ons will void the warranty and may result in
serious injury and/or damage to the fixture. When using muple fixtures, do notexceed the total
wa e load as specified by the transformer rang. This product is designed for above ground
in on only. Always use UL listed wire and wire connectors for conne ons. Do notoperate the
fixture if the hood is missing or damaged. Keep these in on instruc ons for future use.
This fixture and its lamp may become very HOT, very quickly! Turn the fixture off and give itsufficient
me to coolbefore handling the fixture or the lamp. Contact only switch/plug when turning on. Do not
touch a hot lamp, lens, or surrounding housing unhas cooled. Keep lamp away from materials that
may burn. Do nottouch the lamp with bare hands - always use acloth when handling the lamp. Oil from
the skin may damage/reduce the lamp’s effec veness. WARNING – Risk of electricshock. Install all
fixtures no less than ten feet(3.05m) from pools, spas, or fountains.
1) Be protected by roung in close proximity to the luminaire or fi ng, or next to abuilding
structure such as ahouse or deck.
2) Notbe buried except for amaximum of 6 inches (15.2 cm) in order to connect to the main low
voltage cable.
3) Have the length cut off so that is connected to a connector within 6 inches (15.2 cm) from a
building, structure, a luminaire, o g.
1) Prior to installing or servicing this product, disconnect the transformer from the main power
supply.
2) Loosen the hood thumb screw. Remove the hood from the fixture using a twistand pull moon.
3) Insert a PAR 36 lamp (35 wamaximum) into the lamp socket.
4) Replace the hood using atwist and push mo on.
5) Tighten the hood thumb screw to secure the hood.
Reminder: Do notoperate the fixture with the lamp exposed.

LAMP INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

FIXTURE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Prior to installing or servicing this product, disconnect the transformer from the main
power supply.
2) Insert the pigtail wires from the bo om of the fixture through the hole and slot located on
3) Screw the fixture into the moun ng stake hole.
4) Place the fixture/stake in the desired loca on. Insert the stake into the ground in the desired
loca on un he bo om of the stake head rests on the ground surface.
5) Strip the two fixture pigtail wires. A the two fixture leads to the two main supply cable
leads using the two provided King® DryConn™ waterproof connectors. Using a Phillips head
screwdriver, loosen the screw located in the knuckle. Angle the fixture to the desired posi on
and re ghten the screw.
6) Reconnect the transformer to the main power supply. Turn on the power to the fixture and
verify proper posi on and opera on.
Note: In hard soil, the moun ng stake can be inserted into the ground using a hammer, prior to
aaching the fixture.
LED INSTALLATIONS
Most Halco ProLED PAR 36 lamps have an opera ng voltage range of 10-18 volts AC. Please verify the
lamp’s allowable voltage range listed on the product packaging. ng ProLED PAR 36 lamps with
voltage greater than its specified range may damage the internal components of the LED and voids the
manufacturer warranty. ProLED lamps maintain light output, full color, and instant start capabil s to
temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius. ProLED PAR 36 lamps will operate at the desired light output
with voltage down to the lower listed voltage and up to the higher listed voltage, providing balanced
light output from the fixture located closest to the transformer to the fixture located furthest from the
transformer.
