makes it easy for viewing and sharing images.
The touch screen makes it easy to scroll
through content with a simple fl ick of the fi nger
on the display. With its Ultra AR fi lm coating,
which reduces refl ections and increases
contrast and brightness, viewing images on
the LCD even in bright light is possible.

grain in low-light conditions
The DSC-TX7 features a 10.2 megapixel, back-
illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS image sensor.
This advanced technology leverages the full
resolving power of the camera’s Carl Zeiss®
Vario-Tessar® lens. The result? Extremely fast
speed, high resolution, and stunning low-light
sensitivity with improved image clarity and
drastically reduced grain.
Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® Lens
The high-performance Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar®
4x optical zoom (25mm equivalent) lens brings
distant subjects closer for video recording as
well as for outdoor, sports, and travel photos.
The Close Focus function lets you shoot from just
under ½” from your subjects, while the 25mm
equivalent wide-angle lens allows for wider shots
of a scene or group in crowded spaces.

Intelligent Sweep Panorama mode lets
capture stunningly expansive shots with
ease. Simply press the shutter button and
sweep the camera horizontally or vertically
over your desired scene. The camera shoots
continuously at a high speed, automatically
adjusts the position of each image, then
seamlessly stitches up to 100 pictures together
into one panoramic photo. This model even
detects faces and moving objects, intelligently
stitching subjects of different widths together
to minimize distortion. Available in standard
and wide options, this feature lets you take
panoramic shots up to an amazing 258
degrees.
AVCHD for TV: 1920x1080/60i
Ideal for playback on a compatible HDTV,
the AVCHD format captures a high degree
of detail and smooth movement. Record
AVCHD movies up to 1920 x 1080 at 60i9.
Video clips can be played back directly from
the camera10, or can be transferred to DVD
or Blu-ray Disc™ media. They can then be
played back on HDTV’s via compatible Blu-
ray Disc™ players, PlayStation®3 consoles and
compatible PCs.12
