This Wall-Mount Bracket is only for
Sony LCD Color TVs. Do not use the
bracket with a TV whose operating
instructions do not specify the use of
this bracket.

On Safety
Sony products are designed with safety in
mind.
If the products are used incorrectly,
however, it may result in a serious
situation like fire, electric shock, the
product toppling over, or the product
dropping. Be sure to observe the safety
precautions to prevent such accidents.
For Customers
WARNING
If the following precautions are not observed,
there is a possibility of either death or serious
injury through fire, electric shock , the product
toppling over, or the product dropping.
Be sure to subcontract the
installation to licensed contractors
and keep small children away
during the installation.
If people other than licensed contractors install the
Wall-Mount Bracket, the following accidents may
happen:
•The TV may fall and cause
serious injury such as a
bruise or a fracture during
an earthquake.
•If the wall on which the
Wall-Mount Bracket is
installed is unstable, uneven, or not
perpendicular to the floor, the unit may fall and
cause injury or property damage. The wall
should be capable of supporting weight of at
least four (4) times the TV weight.
•If the installation of the Wall-Mount Bracket on
the wall is not sufficiently sturdy, the TV may
fall and cause injury or property damage.

Be sure to subcontract the
installation to licensed contractors
when moving or dismounting the
Wall-Mount Bracket.
If people other than licensed contractors transport
or dismount the Wall-Mount Bracket, the TV may
fall and cause injury or property damage. Be sure
that two or more people carry or dismount the
Wall-Mount Bracket.
Do not spill liquid of any kind on
the TV.
If you allow the TV to get wet, this may result in
fire or electric shock.
Do not remove bolts, etc., after
mounting the TV.
If you do so, the TV may fall and cause injury or
property damage.
Do not disassemble or make
alterations to the parts of the Wall-
Mount Bracket.
If you do so, the Wall-Mount
Bracket may fall and cause injury
or property damage.
Do not mount any equipment other
than the specified product.
This Wall-Mount Bracket is designed for use with
the specified product. If you mount equipment
other than the specified product, it may fall and
cause injury or property damage.
Do not block the ventilating holes
on the TV.
If you block the ventilating
holes on the TV by covering
the top of the TV with a cloth
or the like, the TV may
become overheated and this
may cause a fire.
Do not apply any load other than
the TV on the Wall-Mount Bracket.
If you do so, the TV may fall
and cause injury or property
damage.
Do not lean on or hang from the
TV.
The TV may fall and the user
may be caught under the
weight of the unit and suffer
serious injury.
To prevent fire or electric shock, do
not expose the TV to rain or
moisture.
If you allow the TV to get wet, this may result in
fire or electric shock.
Never place the TV in hot, humid or
excessively dusty places. Do not
install the TV where it may be
exposed to mechanical vibrations.
If you do so, this may cause fire or electric shock.
Keep flammable objects or open
flames (e.g. candles) away from the
TV.
To prevent a fire, keep flammable objects or open
flames (e.g. candles) away from the TV.

CAUTION
If the following precautions are not observed,
there is a possibility of injury or property
damage.
Do not install the Wall-Mount
Bracket on wall surfaces where the
corners or the sides of TV would
protrude away from the wall
surface.
Do not install the Wall-
Mount Bracket on wall
surfaces such as a pillar,
where the corners or the
sides of TV would protrude
away from the wall surface.
If a person or object happens
to hit the protruded corner
or side of the TV, this may
cause injury or property
damage.
Do not handle the product with
excessive force during cleaning or
maintenance.
Do not apply excessive force on the topside of the
TV.
If you do so, this may cause injury or property
damage by causing the TV to fall.
Do not install the TV over or under
an air-conditioner.
If you do so, the TV may be exposed to air
currents from the air-conditioner or may get wet
from water drained by it. This may result in fire,
electric shock or malfunction of the TV.
Precautions
•If you use the TV installed on the Wall-Mount
Bracket for a long time, the wall behind or
above the TV may become discolored or the
wallpaper may come unstuck, depending on
the material of the wall.
•If the Wall-Mount Bracket is removed after
installing them on the wall, the screw holes are
left.
•If you have routed 300 ohm feeder cables
behind the wall, we recommend that you
change them to 75 ohm coaxial cables.
If it is necessary to continue to use 300 ohm
feeder cables, be sure to confirm that sufficient
space is available between the TV and the
feeder cables behind the wall before starting the
installation.
Consult your contractor for an appropriate
installation location where the TV suffers no
radio noise before starting the installation.

To Sony Dealers
The following instructions are for Sony
Dealers only. Be sure to read the following
safety precautions and pay adequate
attention to safety during the installation,
maintenance and checking of this product.
Be sure to install the Wall-Mount
Bracket securely to the wall by
following the instructions in this
instruction manual.
If any of the screws are loose or
fall out, the Wall-Mount Bracket
may fall and cause injury or
property damage. Be sure to use
the screws appropriate for the
material of the wall and install
the unit securely, using eight
M4×20 mm (13/16 inches) or the
equivalent screws.
Be sure to use the screws and
attachment parts properly by
following the instructions given in
this instruction manual. If you use
substitute items, the TV may fall
and cause bodily injury to someone
or damage to the TV.

Be sure to assemble the bracket
properly by following the steps
explained in this instruction
manual.
If any of the screws are loose or fall out, the TV
may fall, and cause bodily injury to someone or
damage to the TV.
Be sure to tighten the bolts and
screws securely in the designated
position.
If you fail to do so, the TV may fall and cause
bodily injury to someone or damage to the TV.
Be careful not to subject the TV to
shock during installation.
If the TV is exposed to shock, it may fall or break
apart. This may cause injury.
Be sure to install the TV on a wall
that is both perpendicular and flat.
If you fail to do so, the TV may fall and cause
injury.
After proper installation of the TV,
secure the cables properly.
If people or objects get tangled in the cables, this
may result in injury.
Do not allow the Power Cord or the
Cables to be pinched.
If the Power Cord or one of
the cables is pinched
between the unit and the
wall or is bent or twisted
by force, the live wires of
the cord or cable may be
exposed and cause a short
circuit or a break in the
cord or cable. This may
cause fire or electric shock.
Be careful not to hurt your hands
or fingers during installation.
Be careful not to hurt your hands or fingers when
installing the Wall-Mount Bracket or the TV.
The screws needed to secure the
Wall-Mount Bracket to the wall are
not supplied.
Use the appropriate screws for the wall material
and structure when mounting the Wall-Mount
Bracket.

Step 2:
Decide the location
Decide where you want to install the TV.
Then, place bracket Aon the installation
location and mark the four screw holes on
the wall using a pencil. Never use the
supplied screws to fix the bracket to the
wall.
Before marking the location of the holes, make
sure that the distance between the upper edge
of bracket Aand the ceiling is 15 cm (5 29/32
inches) or more, and that between the side
edge of bracket Aand the side wall is 25 cm
(9 27/32 inches) or more.
Before installation, refer to the Leaflet
(Installing the Wall-Mount Bracket to the TV)
supplied with the TV.
The Leaflet (Installing the Wall-Mount Bracket
to the TV) includes the installation dimensions
table. Refer to the table to decide where you
want to install the TV.
Notes
•Attach bracket Alevel with the floor.
•The wall should be capable of supporting a
weight of at least four times the TV weight.
Before installing, confirm that the wall has
sufficient strength to support the TV and the
Wall-Mount Bracket. If the wall does not
have sufficient strength, reinforce it
adequately before installing.

Before installation, be sure to see the
Leaflet (Installing the Wall-Mount
Bracket to the TV) supplied with the
TV.
Installation
Step 1:
Check the parts
To install the Wall-Mount Bracket, have
ready eight M4×20 mm (13/16 inches)
screws (or screws of an equivalent size)
that are appropriate for the wall. Use an
appropriate screwdriver for the chosen
screws. Never use the supplied screws to
fix the bracket to the wall. Open the
package and check all the parts below are
included in the package.

Step 3:
Attach bracket Ato
the wall
1Insert four M4×20 mm (13/16
inches) screws (or screws of an
equivalent size) that are
adequate for the wall at the
positions marked in Step 2 (page
6). Never use the supplied
screws to fix the bracket to the
wall.
Do not tighten the screws completely
for the moment. Keep a space of 2 to 3
mm (3/32 to 1/8inches) from the wall.
2Press bracket Ato the wall and
slide it down. Then fully tighten
the four screws on the wall.
3Insert four M4×20 mm (13/16
inches) screws (or screws of an
equivalent size) that are
adequate for the wall in the
screw holes, and tighten them
securely in the order of 1to 4
as shown below. Never use the
supplied screws to fix the
bracket to the wall.
Step 4:
Remove the tabletop
stand from the TV
Be sure to refer to the Leaflet (Installing
the Wall-Mount Bracket to the TV)
supplied with the TV.
If the TV has a rear cover, remove it
before removing the tabletop stand.
Also disconnect all the cables from the TV
before removing the tabletop stand.
For details regarding how to remove the
rear cover and disconnect all the cables
from the TV, refer to the Operating
Instructions supplied with the TV.
1Remove the screws as shown
below, then remove the
tabletop stand from the TV.
To prevent damaging the surface of the
display, place the TV on a soft mat.
Notes
•Lay the display face down on a
stable and level surface with the
tabletop stand hanging over the edge
of the surface. Having the display
face and the base of the stand on the
same level surface will create an
unstable working condition and can
damage the unit.
•Hold the tabletop stand firmly while
removing.

Step 5:
Attach brackets B, C,
D, and Eto the TV
Be sure to see the Leaflet (Installing the
Wall-Mount Bracket to the TV) supplied
with the TV.
1Attach bracket Bto the TV.
Using the four screws removed in
Step 4 (page 7), secure bracket B
to the TV firmly.
Note
To secure bracket Bto the TV, use the
screws removed from the tabletop
stand, not the ones from the hinge
cover.
2Connect the cables.
How to connect/bundle the cables
differs depending on the TV model.
For details, refer to the Operating
instructions of the TV.
3Attach bracket Cof the desired
angle to bracket B.
To prevent damaging the surface of the
rear cover of the TV, put a soft mat on
the rear cover.
Insert the hooked part of bracket
Cinto bracket Bas shown in the
following illustration. Confirm
that both sides of bracket Care
outside bracket B, and secure
them firmly with two of the
supplied screws.
There are three types of bracket C,
each with a different angle: 0°, 5°,
and 10°. Choose the bracket C
with the desired angle to attach.

example of how to attach bracket

4Attach bracket Dto bracket C,
and secure them firmly with two
of the supplied screws.
Place bracket Donto bracket Cas
illustrated below, and secure them
with the two screws.
5Attach bracket Eto bracket C,
and secure them firmly with two
of the supplied screws.
Slide the shaft of bracket Einto the
notches of bracket Cas illustrated
below. Secure them with two screws,
one on each side. When you have
attached bracket E, remove the soft
mat from the rear cover of the TV.

Be careful not to get your fingers
caught between the brackets when
attaching them.

Step 6:
Secure the TV to the
wall

•Hold the TV firmly. Be especially
careful when you secure the TV in a
high place.
•Do not release the TV until you
confirm that bracket Eis firmly
secured to bracket Ain three
locations.

2Insert the locking rod.
The locking rod can be inserted from
either side. The illustration below
shows an example of how to insert the
locking rod from the right side.
1Insert the longer side of the
locking rod into the holes on
bracket E.
2Insert the curved side of the
locking rod into the hole on
bracket A. Hold and press
the locking rod at part to
pass its end through the
hole.
3Turn the locking rod until it
stops to secure it in place.

Note
To prevent the locking rod from falling
out of the brackets, the space between
both ends of the locking rod is greater
than that between the holes on the
brackets. Hold and press the locking
rod at part so that it can pass
through the holes.
CAUTION
If the TV is lifted up when the locking
rod is not installed properly, the TV
may fall off the Wall-Mount Bracket
and cause serious injury.
Be sure to insert and secure the locking
rod in place.

Detaching the TV from
the Wall-Mount Bracket
Hold and press the locking rod at part
to remove the locking rod from brackets
Aand E, then detach the TV from the
Wall-Mount Bracket.

ATTENTION
Le non-respect des précautions suivantes risque

N’installez pas le support de
fixation mural sur des surfaces où
les coins ou les côtés du téléviseur
dépassent du mur.
N’installez pas le support de
fixation mural sur des
surfaces verticales, telles
qu’une colonne, où les coins
ou les côtés du téléviseur
dépasseraient de la surface
du mur. Si une personne ou
un objet accrochait le coin ou
le côté du téléviseur qui
dépasse de la surface, cela
pourrait provoquer des
blessures ou des dommages
matériels.
N’exercez aucune force excessive
sur le produit en cours de
nettoyage ou d’entretien.
N’appliquez pas de force excessive sur le dessus
du téléviseur.
Cela pourrait causer la chute de l’appareil et
provoquer des blessures ou des dommages
matériels.
N’installez pas le téléviseur au-
dessus ou en dessous d’un
climatiseur.
Le cas échéant, le téléviseur pourrait être exposé à
des courants d’air ou recevoir de l’eau provenant
du climatiseur. Cela pourrait entraîner un
incendie, l’électrocution ou des problèmes de
fonctionnement du téléviseur.
Précautions
•Lorsque le téléviseur reste installé sur le
support de fixation mural pendant une longue
période, le mur derrière le téléviseur ou au-
dessus de celui-ci peut se décolorer, ou encore
le papier peint peut se décoller, selon le
revêtement mural.
•Les trous des vis restent apparents si vous
démontez le support de fixation mural après
son installation.
•Si vous avez fait passer des câbles
d’alimentation de 300 ohms derrière le mur,
nous vous recommandons de les remplacer par
des câbles coaxiaux de 75 ohms.
Si vous devez continuer à utiliser des câbles
d’alimentation de 300 ohms, assurez-vous
qu’un espace suffisant est prévu entre le
téléviseur et les câbles d’alimentation dans le
mur avant de commencer l’installation.
Avant de commencer l’installation, consultez
votre entrepreneur pour choisir un
emplacement d’installation approprié où le
téléviseur ne sera pas soumis aux interférences
radioélectriques.

détaillants Sony uniquement. Lisez
attentivement les consignes de sécurité décrites
ci-dessous et accordez une attention
particulière à la sécurité lors de l’installation,
de l’entretien et de la vérification de ce produit.
Veillez à fixer solidement le
support de fixation mural au mur
en suivant les directives de ce
guide.
Si certaines des vis sont
desserrées ou absentes, le
support de fixation mural peut
tomber et provoquer des
blessures ou des dommages
matériels. Veillez à choisir des vis
appropriées pour le type de mur
et fixez solidement l’appareil
avec huit vis M4 de 20 mm
(13/16 po) ou des vis équivalentes.

Veillez à installer le téléviseur sur
un mur vertical et lisse.
Dans le cas contraire, le téléviseur pourrait tomber
et entraîner des blessures.
Après avoir installé le téléviseur
selon les directives, attachez les
câbles avec soin.
Si des personnes ou des objets se prennent dans
les câbles, ceci risque de provoquer des blessures.
Ne placez pas le cordon
d’alimentation ni les câbles dans
une position où ils pourraient être
pincés.
Si le cordon d’alimentation
ou un des câbles était pincé

2ème étape :
Choix de l’emplacement
Choisissez l’emplacement où vous allez
installer le téléviseur.
Puis, placez le support de fixation Asur
l’emplacement d’installation et marquez
l’emplacement des quatre orifices des vis
sur le mur avec un crayon. N’utilisez
jamais les vis fournies pour fixer le
support au mur.
Avant de marquer l’emplacement des orifices,
vérifiez que la distance entre l’extrémité
supérieure du support Aet le plafond est de
15 cm (5 29/32 po) ou plus et que la distance
entre le côté du support Aet le mur de côté est
de 25 cm (9 27/32 po) ou plus.
Avant l’installation, reportez-vous au dépliant
(Installation du support de fixation mural sur
le téléviseur) fourni avec le téléviseur.
Le dépliant (Installation du support de fixation
mural sur le téléviseur) contient le tableau des
dimensions d’installation. Reportez-vous à ce
tableau pour décider de l’emplacement
d’installation du téléviseur.
Remarques
•Fixez le support de fixation Ade façon à ce
qu’il soit parallèle au sol.
•Le mur doit pouvoir soutenir un poids au
moins équivalent à quatre fois le poids du
téléviseur. Avant l’installation, vérifiez que
le mur est suffisamment solide pour soutenir
le téléviseur et le support de fixation mural.
Si le mur n’est pas suffisamment solide,
renforcez-le adéquatement avant
l’installation.

1ère étape :
Vérification des pièces
Pour installer le support de fixation
mural, préparez huit vis M4 de 20 mm
(13/16 po) (ou des vis de taille équivalente)
appropriées pour le type de mur. Utilisez
un tournevis approprié pour les vis
sélectionnées. N’utilisez jamais les vis
fournies pour fixer le support au mur.
Ouvrez l’emballage et vérifiez que toutes
les pièces ci-dessous sont présentes.

3éme étape :
Fixation du support A
au mur
1Insérez quatre vis M4 de 20 mm
(13/16 po) (ou des vis de taille
équivalente) appropriées pour le
type de mur aux positions
marquées à l’étape 2 (page 6).
N’utilisez jamais les vis fournies
pour fixer le support au mur.
Ne serrez pas les vis à fond pour le
moment. Laissez un espace de 2 à
3mm (3/32 à 1/8po) entre la tête de vis
et le mur.
2Appuyez le support de fixation
Acontre le mur et faites-le
glisser vers le bas. Puis serrez à
fond les quatre vis sur le mur.
3Insérez quatre vis M4 de 20 mm
(13/16 po) (ou des vis de taille
équivalente) appropriées pour le
type de mur dans les orifices des
vis, puis vissez-les solidement
dans l’ordre de 1à 4, tel
qu’illustré ci-dessous. N’utilisez
jamais les vis fournies pour fixer
le support au mur.
4éme étape :
Démontage du support
de table du téléviseur
Veillez à vous reporter au dépliant
(Installation du support de fixation mural
sur le téléviseur) fourni avec le téléviseur.
Si le téléviseur comporte un couvercle
arrière, retirez-le avant de démonter le
support de table. Débranchez également
tous les câbles du téléviseur avant de
retirer le support de table. Pour les
directives de démontage du couvercle
arrière et de débranchement des câbles,
reportez-vous au mode d’emploi fourni
avec le téléviseur.
1Retirez les vis tel qu’illustré ci-
dessous, puis retirez le support
de table du téléviseur.
Pour éviter d’endommager la surface
de l’écran, placez le téléviseur sur un
tissu doux.
Remarques
•Couchez l’écran face vers le bas sur
une surface stable et lisse en laissant
dépasser le support de table du bord
de la surface. Si la face de l’écran et
le support de table reposent sur la
même surface, l’ensemble sera
instable et des dommages à
l’appareil peuvent en résulter.
•Tenez le support de table fermement
pendant que vous le retirez.

Fixation des supports B,
C, Det Eau téléviseur
Veillez à vous reporter au dépliant

Fixez le support Bau téléviseur.
Avec les quatre vis retirées à 4éme
étape (page 7), fixez solidement le
support Bau téléviseur.
Remarque
Afin de fixer correctement le support
Bau téléviseur, utilisez les vis que
vous avez retirées du support du
téléviseur et non celles du panneau
recouvrant les charnières.
2Raccordez les câbles.
La façon de raccorder/regrouper les
câbles varie selon le modèle du
téléviseur. Pour plus de détails,
reportez-vous au mode d’emploi du
téléviseur.
3Fixez le support de fixation C
au support de fixation Bselon
l’angle souhaité.
Pour éviter d’endommager sa surface,
placez un tissu doux sur le couvercle
arrière du téléviseur.
Insérez le crochet du support Cdans
le support Btel qu’indiqué dans
l’illustration suivante. Vérifiez que les
deux côtés du support de fixation Csont à
l’extérieur du support de fixation Bet
vissez-les à fond avec les deux vis fournies.
Il existe trois types de support de fixation
C, chacun ayant un angle différent : 0°, 5°
et 10°. Choisissez le support de fixation C
correspondant à l’angle souhaité.

Glissez la tige du support E dans les
encoches du support C tel qu’illustré
ci-dessous. Fixez-les avec deux vis, une
de chaque côté. Une fois que le support
E est fixé, retirez le tissu que vous
avez placé sur le couvercle arrière du
téléviseur.
Remarque
Faites attention à ne pas vous coincer
les doigts dans les supports de fixation
au moment de leur fixation.

Remarques
•Tenez fermement le téléviseur. Faites
particulièrement attention lorsque
vous fixez le téléviseur à un endroit
élevé.
•Ne relâchez pas le téléviseur avant
d’avoir vérifié que le support Eest
solidement fixé au support Aà trois
endroits.
2Insérez la tige de blocage.
La tige de blocage peut être insérée du
côté droit ou du côté gauche. L’illustration
ci-dessous montre la mise en place de la
tige de blocage du côté droit.
1Insérez la partie la plus
longue de la tige de blocage

de la tige de blocage dans

partie de la tige et

Remarque
Pour empêcher que la tige de blocage
ne tombe des supports de fixation,
l’espace entre les deux extrémités de la
tige est supérieur à celui entre les
orifices sur les supports de fixation.
Appuyez sur la partie de la tige et
maintenez-la enfoncée pour la faire
passer dans les orifices.
ATTENTION
Si vous soulevez le téléviseur et que la
tige de blocage n’est pas installée
correctement, le téléviseur risque de
tomber du support de fixation mural et
de blesser gravement des personnes.
N’oubliez pas d’insérer la tige de
blocage et de bien la fixer.
