Access more recording time and clearer playback with the ultra-portable
ICD-PX312D digital voice recorder. Expandable memory is available
through the MicroSD card slot while the Intelligent Noise Cut™ feature
reduces ambient noise during your recordings, providing enhanced
clarity during playback. The ICD-PX312D comes bundled with DRAGON®
NaturallySpeaking® soware for added functionality.
SCENE SELECT
An easy to use system that allows the user to select pre-determined recording modes. The device
automatically adjusts the unit to the optimal recording settings: notes, lectures, music etc.
INTELLIGENT NOISE CUT™ MODE
A unique and innovative technology from Sony, Intelligent Noise Cut™ mode signicantly
reduces ambient noise from recordings so that playback can be heard more clearly.
EXPANDABLE MEMORY
A Memory Card slot oers access to additional recording time using optional ash memory
media that can be removed and stored or used to transfer recordings to a computer.
TRACK MARK
Finding an exact spot in your recording is now easier than ever before. Place up to 98 track
marks in each recorded le which can be "jumped" to for playback.
VOR
Voice Operated Recording starts and stops the recording when sound of a sucient level is
picked up by the microphone. This feature saves valuable recording time by not recording
periods when there is little or no sound.
Bundled DRAGON® NaturallySpeaking® 11.0 soware
The recording quality of the unit has been optimized and validated by Nuance to work with the
bundled Voice to Print Dragon NaturallySpeaking® soware.4
A-B REPEAT
Mark the beginning and ending of a particular recorded passage and the recording will be
played over and over again- great for language learning.
ADD RECORDING
Enables the user to press the RECORD button during playback and automatically add additional
recording at the end without aecting the original recording.
ALARM
Set a future date and time and the recording will automatically be played.
DICTATION CORRECTION
Enables the user to press the RECORD button during playback and overwrite the recording,
correcting the original recording.
DPC
Digital Pitch Control enables the recording to be played at a faster or slower rate without
changing the pitch.
EARPHONE JACK
A listening device can be plugged into the recorder.
EASY SEARCH
Rewinds or Fast Forwards in short increments making it easier to locate a segment in a long
recording for review.
HI / LO MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY
Set the recorder for dictation and notes or for conferences and lectures.

STEREO RECORDING W/ EXTERNAL MIC
For certain applications it may be desirable to use an external stereo microphone. In the case
of the models that do not have a stereo mic, the addition of this type of microphone allows the
recorder to record in stereo.
