Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used
near water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.
Ventilation
fAlways make sure that there is sufcient ventilation in the room. Fresh air needs to
be able to enter the room and vaporized fog needs to be able to be drained from
the room.
fPay caution with the amount of fog used. Only small amounts of fog are required to
accentuate professional lighting and make the beams visible. Do not proceed pro-
ducing fog when the visibility drops below 2 meters.
fThe use of fog is not hazardous for people or animals, if used with caution and
proper ventilation. Do not use more fog than needed to achieve the desired effect.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
Power Cord and Plug
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conve-
nience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
poles; a grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer
to an electrician for replacement.

Fuse
fMain fuse of this device is to be found on rear panel, close to the power inlet.
fOnly replace fuse with a new one of the same type and rating! Do not use fuses with
a higher or lower rating
fDo not bridge fuse with electrical wires, aluminum foil, as it is used to protect against
electrical shocks and short circuit.
fAlways mount fuse cover back to the fuse compartment.
Electrical Connection
Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer
all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.

Ask your SOUNDSATION dealer for any accessories you could need to ensure best

3. OVERVIEW
ZEPHIRO 900FOG is a powerful 900 Watt smoke machine. It can be operated by a
supplied manual controller and there is also an external receiver bundled to operate
the machine remotely, free from connection cables, via a small remote control. It can
be placed on a shelf or on the oor and also on trusses through the supplied mounting
bracket that allows it to be xed.
ZEPHIRO 900FOG is able to generate a smoke volume of 140 m³ /min thanks to a 900
Watt heating system, a powerful pump and a large tank (1L)

5. SETTING UP
fZEPHIRO 900FOG can be installed in high places (with clamps or couplers, not in-
cluded), or placed on the ground.
fKeep it in horizontal position, do not tilt or ip. Before connecting this unit to mains,
ll in the tank with uid. Always use water-based fog uid (check www.soundsation-
music.com for further information) and check that nozzle is clean and unobstructed.
fBefore connecting to power, check whether mains voltage is suitable for the unit or
not.
fConnect the supplied wired controller to the fog machine
fPower cord should be plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Once connected,
put power switch to “ON”, then fog machine start warming up and the indicator LED
on the rear panel is red. During the warm up process, also the red LED on the wired
controller is ON. After heating is complete, the indicator LED on the rear panel turns
green. In the same time, on the wired controller, the red LED turns OFF and the green
LED turns ON; then fog machine is ready to use.
fUse the wired controller or the supplied wireless control, in order to activate the fog
machine.
6. MAINS CONNECTIONS
Connect the device to the mains with the supplied power cable. Please note that power
voltage and frequency are the same as the marked voltage and frequency of device
when connecting power.

The earth must to be connected! Pay attention to safety! Before taking into
operation for the rst time, the installation has to be approved by an expert.

according to which it is connected in the appropriate socket

Wireless remote control
Once warm-up is complete, press A or B button to emit fog. By pressing them long
time, you can spray fog long time till the unit will warm up again. By releasing buttons,
it stops spraying fog).
Wired control
Connect the controller to the machine rear panel through MANUAL CONTROL connec-
tor.
1. Manual fog switch: Fog projection when pressed.
2. Red LED - Warm Up Indicator.
3. Green LED - Fog Machine Ready.
8. NOTICES
fThis fog machine should be used in dry and well-ventilated place . Please avoid any
water or rain fall in the machines, if water and rain fall in, turn off the power imme-
diately. The room for cooling should be at least 30cm. Keep far away from children,
re, explosive and ammable things, and avoid scalding.
fIn the rst time use, some liquid might spray out. This is normal.
fWhen liquid is getting low, please add it again in time. If the fog machine works
without uid for a long time, its pump and other parts could get damaged. When

adding uid, remember to turn power off, and carefully avoid spilling over to cause
short circuits.
fThe fog machine should work under professional operator’s supervision, please do
not add ammable liquids, gas or perfume into the fog uid tank.
fWhen working, do not touch the machine and power cord.
fWhen you don’t use the machine for long time or after use, please disconnect power
or unplug the power cord.
fAfter using, please wipe out the liquid in the tank, as it would avoid the housing to
be corroded.
fAll fog machines will have condensation or moisture around the nozzle.
fAll fog machines are used to emit a small amount of smoke during or after use.
fAll fog machines have heating-cooling cycles. When internal temperature drops to
minimum, the pump automatically turns on and begins heating. Once heating is
complete, the machine starts to spray smoke again.

9. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND COMMON FAULTS
Periodically clean your machine to reduce replacement parts and repair ex-
penses
fPoor fog liquid can cause blockage; it is recommended to use high quality fog liquid.
fThe machine might get blocked due to high concentration uid, not-pure uid or
overheat, so regular care and maintenance can ensure long-term use. After about
40 hours continue use, please prepare an 80% distilled water and 20% white vinegar
blend to remove any accumulated impurities inside boiler and pipe, as following:
1. Wash the pipe in the tank and its lter head
2. Pour out any liquid inside, and replace with the cleaning liquid (80% distilled
water and 20% white vinegar), turn on power, keep it operating till the clean-
ing liquid runs out.
fIf the fog turns less, and the pump makes noise, switch off the unit immediately and
check uid level, fuse, controller interface and power plug. If all of these are normal,
please connect power again. If problems still continue, please contact the supplier.
fWhen you shut down the machine, it is recommended that you remove any remain-
ing uid inside. Especially when the machine will not be used for a long time. It is
recommended that you open the tank, remove the uid hose and place it next to
the tank in open air.
fAfter use, let the fog machine cool down before transporting it by the handle. Small
bits of fog may still be emitted just after the machine is switched off. Let the machine
cool down for at least 20 minutes and only transport it when the housing of the ma-
chine reaches a temperature that is comfortable enough to handle. Transporting the

machine while it is still hot may cause injuries and permanent damage to the internal
electronics and heating elements.

11. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the prod-
uct.

ACQUA / UMIDITA

.Ventilazione
fAssicurarsi sempre che ci sia una sufciente ventilazione in modo che l’aria possa
circolare e la nebbia vaporizzata possa essere scaricata dalla stanza di utilizzo del
dispositivo.
fPrestare attenzione alla quantità di nebbia utilizzata. Sono necessarie solo piccole
quantità di nebbia per accentuare il lighting professionale e rendere i fasci di luce
molto più visibili. Non continuare con la produzione di nebbia quando la visibilità
scende sotto i 2 metri
fL’uso della nebbia non è pericoloso per le persone o gli animali, se usato con cau-
tela e adeguata ventilazione. Non utilizzare più nebbia del necessario per ottenere
l’effetto desiderato.
Introduzione di oggetti e liquidi
Non introdurre oggetti o versare liquidi all’interno dell’apparato per ragioni di sicurezza.
Installazione
Avere sempre un ssaggio sicuro utilizzando una catena di sicurezza e maniglie di tra-
sporto. Non trasportare l’apparecchio mediante il cavo.
CAVO DI RETE
Proteggere il cavo di alimentazione per evitare che venga calpestato o schiacciato, in
particolare in corrispondenza delle spine, prese e il punto di uscita dall’apparecchio.
Non annullare l’obiettivo di sicurezza della spina polarizzata o con messa a terra. Una
spina polarizzata ha due poli; una spina di messa a terra presenta due poli ed un terzo
terminale di terra. Il terzo polo è previsto per la vostra sicurezza. Se la spina fornita non
entra nella presa, consultare un elettricista per la sostituzione.
Fusibile
fIl fusibile principale di questo dispositivo si trova sul pannello posteriore, vicino alla
presa dell’alimentazione.
fSostituire il fusibile esclusivamente con uno nuovo dello stesso tipo e valore. Non
utilizzare fusibili di valore superiore o inferiore
fNon collegare il fusibile con cavi elettrici, fogli di alluminio, poiché è usato per

fRimontare sempre correttamente il coperchio del fusibile nello scomparto del

Collegamento alla rete elettrica
L’apparecchio deve essere collegato alla sorgente di alimentazione elettrica del tipo

Un collegamento elettrico non corretto può invalidare la garanzia del prodotto.
Pulizia
Pulire solo con un panno asciutto. Non utilizzare solventi come benzene o alcool.

nenti suggeriti dal produttore.

Quando si riceve la macchina, aprire la confezione (1 scatola), controllare attentamente
che non sia danneggiata e che gli accessori non siano andati persi. In caso di problemi,

stati a lungo testati con questo dispositivo quindi si consiglia di utilizzare accessori
originali e parti di ricambio Soundsation. Chiedete al vostro rivenditore SOUNDSATION
per gli accessori il necessario per garantire le migliori prestazioni del prodotto.
15.PANORAMICA
ZEPHIRO 900FOG è una macchina del fumo da 900 Watt. Può essere azionata da un
controller manuale ed ha in dotazione un ricevitore per comando wireless così da poter
azionare la macchina a distanza, liberi da cavi di collegamento, tramite un piccolo
radiocomando.
Può essere posizionata su un ripiano o sul pavimento ed anche su tralicci attraverso la
staffa di montaggio in dotazione che ne permette il ssaggio.

17. SETTAGGIO
fZEPHIRO 900FOG può essere appeso in alto (con morsetti o giunti, non inclusi), o
posizionato a terra.
fTenere il dispositivo in posizione orizzontale, non inclinare o capovolgere. Prima di
collegare questa unità alla rete, riempire il serbatoio con il uido. Utilizzare sempre
il uido nebulizzato a base di acqua (consultare www.soundsationmusic.com per
ulteriori informazioni) e controllare che l’ugello sia pulito e non ostruito.
fPrima di collegare l’alimentazione, vericare se la tensione di rete è adatta all’unità
o meno
fCollegare il controllo manuale all’apposito connettore (WIRED CONTROL) posto sul

fCollegare il ricevitore per radiocomando all’apposito connettore (WIRELESS CON-
TROL) posto sul pannello posteriore della macchina
fIl cavo di alimentazione deve essere collegato a una presa elettrica dotata di messa
a terra. Una volta collegato, posizionare l’interruttore di accensione su “ON”. A
questo punto comincerà la fase di riscaldamento e l’indicatore LED sul pannel-
lo posteriore sarà di colore rosso. Durante il processo di riscaldamento, anche il
LED rosso sul controllo manuale a lo sarà acceso. Al termine del riscaldamento,
l’indicatore LED sul pannello posteriore diventerà verde. Nello stesso tempo, il LED
rosso sul controllo manuale a lo si spegnerà mentre si accenderà il LED verde ad
indicare che la macchina del fumo è pronta per l’uso.
fUtilizzare il comando con cavo o il radiocomando in dotazione per utilizzare l’appa-
recchio.
18.CONNESSIONI DI RETE
Collegare il dispositivo alla presa con la spina. La corrispondenza dei cavi è la seguente:

La messa a terra deve essere collegata! Prestare attenzione alla sicurezza!
Prima di metter in funzione l’apparecchio per la prima volta, l’installazione deve essere
approvata da un esperto.
19.MODALITÀ DI CONTROLLO
ZEPHIRO 900FOG può essere utilizzata con un controller manuale o con un radioco-
mando dipendentemente da quale è collegato nell’apposita presa.

Una volta completato il riscaldamento, premere il pulsante A o B per emettere la neb-
bia. Tenendoli premuti a lungo, è possibile spruzzare la nebbia a lungo nché l’unità
non si scalda nuovamente. Rilasciando i pulsanti, smette di spruzzare la nebbia
COMANDO A FILO
Collegare il comando a lo al pannello posteriore della macchina tramite l’apposito
connettore.
1. Interruttore manuale per nebbia: Quando viene premuto il dispositivo emette
fumo e quando viene rilasciato si sospende l’emissione
2. LED Verde - Quando è acceso indica che la macchina è pronta all’uso.
3. LED Rosso - Quando è acceso indica che la macchina è in fase di riscaldamento

fQuesto apparecchio deve essere usato in luogo asciutto e ben ventilato. Si prega

danneggiarsi. Quando si aggiunge il uido, ricordarsi di spegnere l’alimentazione
facendo attenzione a non versare il liquido fuori dalla tanica poiché questo potreb-

be causare cortocircuiti.
fLa macchina del fumo deve funzionare sotto la supervisione di un operatore esper-
to; non aggiungere liquidi inammabili, gas o profumi nel serbatoio del liquido per
nebbia.
fQuando non si utilizza l’apparecchio per un lungo periodo di tempo o dopo l’uso,
scollegare l’alimentazione o scollegare il cavo di alimentazione.
fDopo l’uso, pulire il liquido nel serbatoio, così da evitare la corrosione l’alloggia-
mento.
fTutte le macchine per il fumo hanno condensa o umidità intorno all’ugello, e tutte
emettono costantemente una piccola quantità di fumo durante o dopo l’uso.
fTutte le macchine per il fumo hanno cicli di riscaldamento e raffreddamento. Quan-
do la temperatura interna scende al minimo, la pompa si accende automaticamen-
te e inizia a riscaldarsi. Al termine del riscaldamento, la macchina inizia a spruzzare
nuovamente il fumo.

21. MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA E GUASTI COMUNI
Pulire periodicamente la macchina per eventuali costi per riparazioni e parti
di ricambio.
fUn liquido qualitativamente scarso può causare il blocco del dispositivo. Si consi-
glia di utilizzare un liquido per fumo di alta qualità.
fLa macchina potrebbe bloccarsi a causa di uido ad alta concentrazione, di uido
non puro o di surriscaldamento, pertanto una cura e una manutenzione regolare
possono garantire il funzionamento più a lungo. Dopo circa 40 ore di uso, si sugge-
risce di preparare un 80% di acqua distillata e il 20% di miscela di aceto bianco per
rimuovere eventuali impurità accumulate all’interno della caldaia e del tubo. Quindi
effettuare le seguenti operazioni:
1. Lavare il tubo nel serbatoio e la testa del ltro.
2. Eliminare tutti i liquidi all’interno e sostituirli con il liquido detergente (80% di
acqua distillata e 20% di aceto bianco), accendere l’alimentazione, mantenerla
in funzione no a quando il liquido di pulizia non si esaurisce.
fSe l’emissione di fumo diminuisce e la pompa fa rumore, spegnere immediatamen-
te l’unità e controllare il livello del uido, il fusibile, l’interfaccia del controllo a lo
e la spina di alimentazione. Se tutti questi sono normali, collegare nuovamente
l’alimentazione. Se i problemi persistono, contattare il fornitore.

fQuando si spegne la macchina, si consiglia di rimuovere il liquido rimanente all’in-
terno soprattutto quando la macchina non verrà utilizzata per un lungo periodo.
Si suggerisce di aprire il serbatoio, rimuovere il essibile del uido e posizionarlo
vicino al serbatoio all’aria aperta.
fDopo l’uso, lasciare raffreddare la macchina prima di trasportarla utilizzando la
maniglia. Piccoli spruzzi di nebbia possono ancora essere emessi subito dopo
lo spegnimento della dispositivo. Lasciare che questo si raffreddi per almeno 20
minuti e trasportarlo solo quando l’alloggiamento raggiunge una temperatura
sufcientemente confortevole da poter essere maneggiato. Il trasporto della mac-
china quando è ancora calda può causare lesioni e danni permanenti all’elettronica
interna e alle resistenze.
