1. Relax, clear your mind, listen to relaxing music. If your baby is not present, you can watch videos
or photos of your baby.
2. Stimulate the suction reflex or milk drop before starting extraction. Some women have found
that gently massaging their breasts or applying warm compresses from the chest wall to the
nipples helps trigger the ejection reflex.
3. Remove your milk from each breast for 10-15 minutes
NOTE : For optimal milk extraction, we recommend short andfrequent extraction sessions ,
(10-15 minutes each breast every 2-3 hours, 7-8 times a day)
7. How to get started
Pics
NOTE: Spectra S9Plus is designated to turn off automatically after 30 minutes and storesyour current
settings for use in your next session. If you want to start with a different configuration than previously
used, adjust the new configuration before starting the extraction.
SINGLE OR DOUBLE USE
We recommend that you breastfeed your baby whenever he or she can, even when using the milk extractor.

Massage and Extraction Mode: Press the 3-wave button once to switch from massage mode to
extraction mode and vice versa.
Fashion Massage
To stimulate the "down" reflection of the milk, your baby will suckquickly andsuperficially, the
massage mode is designed to ingest this phase, from the breastfeeding cycle, please adjust the
suction level in the massage mode thatbetter stimulates the milk output. Every woman is
different, so experiment to find which speed worksandbest and most comfortably for you.
Extraction Mode
The suction level is measured in mmHg in the machine and refers to the intensity with which it sucks. Be
careful when adjusting the suction level of your machine. Some women find that milk extraction is
faster at higher levels of suction. However, it is important not to set a suction level so high that it makes
you uncomfortable, as pain can affect milk flow.
