HEARING PROTECTOR DIGITAL STEREO FM RADIO HEADSET

Battery Installation
Ensure that the On/Off knob (9) is switched off.
Open the battery cover (10). Insert new batteries into the battery chamber in correct polarity. Close the battery
cover (10).
When the sound becomes weak and low battery symbol appears on the Display with beep sound, replace both
batteries with new ones.
Time Setting
Ensure that the On/Off switch (9) is in OFF position.
Press the Menu Button (2) to activate the time setting function
When the hour is blinking, press ▼ (5) or ▲ (6) to set the hour time.
Press the Menu Button (2) to adjust the minutes setting.
After setting, Press the Menu Button (2) again to confirm the time setting.
Radio Operation
Turn on the radio by turning the Power On/Off Knob (9) (which combines with Volume Control) in clockwise
direction and adjust the sound to your desired level.
Manual search: Press ▼ (5) or ▲ (6) buttons step by step until it reaches your desired station.
Auto scan: Press ▼ (5) or ▲ (6) buttons for 2 seconds, then release the button when auto scan starts. Auto scan
will stop automatically when clear reception is received.
Preset Station - 8 preset stations. Hold Menu button (2), release the button when M and the preset station number
are flashing. Press ▼ (5) or ▲ (6) to save the station to your desired position. Press Menu button (2) to confirm
your setting.
Listen to the preset status by pressing the Menu button (2) to select preset stations M1 to M8.
When plug in the cable into the Aux In Jack, radio mode will be deactivated automatically.
Volume Control
To increase the sound volume, turn the Volume Knob (9) in clockwise direction.
To decrease the sound volume, turn the Volume Knob (9) in anti-clockwise direction.
Bass Boost
To enhance the lower frequency by pressing Bass button (3) to activate Bass Boost function.
When the Bass Boost is switched on, Bass appears in the display (4).

PTL
With the microphone, you can hear the conversation and communicate with other people without removing the ear
protector.
While listening to the radio or music, press the PTL button (8) to activate the Microphone function with MIC
shows on the display.
Press the PTL button (8) again to switch back to radio or Aux In mode.
Aux-in Jack
Press the “Mode” button to select AUX. Press “Enter” to confirm the setting. To connect with other audio devices,
plug a 3.5 mm Cable into the Aux-in Jack. Start playing the music from the audio device.
Adjusting the Fit
1. Put on the earmuffs with the controls panel over your right ear.
2. With the headband over the crown of your head, position the muffs to completely enclose your ears. The muffs
only provide hearing protection when worn with the headband over the crown of your head.
3. Slide the muffs carefully up or down to adjust for a firm, comfortable fit.
4. Ensure the cushions seal tightly against your head with no interference from foreign objects between the ear cup
and your head (such as pencils or glasses temple arms). Spread the ear cups only enough to clear the ears. Do not
return or reshape the headband.
Note
For best performance, the earmuffs are fitted, adjusted and kept maintenance in accordance to manufacturer’s
instruction.
It is important to wear the earmuffs at all times in noisy surroundings to avoid the risk of hearing damage.
Inspect the earmuffs regularly for serviceability.
If the recommendations given above are not adhered, the protection by the earmuffs will be securely impaired.
Remarks
The earmuffs provides audio signal sound pressure level limitation and limits the entertainment audio signal to
82dB(A).
Radio reception quality may be slightly distorted depending on surroundings.
To prevent damage to the headset and radio function, do not subject it to rough handling.
These earmuffs are provided with an entertainment audio facility and electrical audio input.
These earmuffs are provided with level-dependent attenuation.
The wearer should check correct operation before usage. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer
to the manufacturer’s advice for maintenance and replacement of the battery.
The audibility of warning signals at specific workplaces may be impaired while using the entertainment facility.
Warning
Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. The typical period of continuous use that can be expected from
the ear muffs is around 24 hours.
The output of level dependent circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the external sound level.
The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limited sound level.
Storage
Do not store the hearing protector at temperatures exceeding +55°C, for example on a dashboard or windowsill.
Do not store the hearing protector at temperature below -20°C. Under extremely cold conditions, warm the hearing
protector before using.
Cleaning
Certain chemical substances may adversely affect this product. Simply wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with a
mild soap or water. Do not dip it into the water.
Safety
Loud music can cause hearing damage.
Avoid working in a noisy environment over extended periods of time.
Wear the hearing protection when working at a noisy workplace.

Acoustical warning, indication signals and environmental noises can sound different when wearing hearing
protection.
The perception of warning signals in certain workplaces may be affected when using a sound reproducing system.
Precautions and Warnings
The radio reception may be distorted under movement.
Interference and fault may happen when turning on the TV, fluorescent light or other electrical appliances.
When the volume begins to fade, recharge or replace the lithium battery. To replace the tailor-made lithium battery,
please order it from the manufacturer.

mild soap or water. Do not dip it into water.
Remove the Battery from the unit to prevent battery leakage when you are not going to use it for a long time.
Failure to follow these instructions or misuse of the headset can result in damage and/or loss.
If the recommendation given under “Adjusting the Fit” is not adhered, the protection given by the earmuffs will be
severely impaired.
Headband and cushions are non-replaceable so do not tear it off, as it will damage the headset.
Troubleshooting

Background
noise
The radio frequency is not properly
tuned.
Adjust the frequency by pressing the
scan button up/down.
The reception is weak. Replace with new batteries.

When hygiene covers are put on to the cushions, it may affect the acoustic performance of the earmuffs;
Do not tear the cushion off from the headset, as the cushion is non-replaceable;
Earmuffs, and in particular the cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined frequently for cracks and
leakage;
The product is protected by bubble wrap and then put into a printed gift box. After use, put it back into to the gift
box for storage.
Guarantee
Product guarantee for one year as from date of purchase.
If the product fails, please contact your supplier.
Remember that many outlets will require that you have a valid proof of purchase.
Any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship will either be replaced, refunded or repaired free of
charge where possible during this period by the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.
The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, cabinet parts, knobs or consumable items.
The guarantee will be rendered invalid if the product is re-sold or has been damaged by inexpert repair.

This product can use 2 years at least unless the headband/ear cushions or the headset is damaged.
The PPE does not provide proper protection if the ear muff defect, or not correctly placed over the ear.
