Quickstart Guide SP-Mount-RINO
1. Base Plate
When connecting Ethernet to radar, always use
grounded shielded CAT5 cable.

1. Attach Head Assembly
to Radar Back Housing
with the four custom
fitted bolts and
associated nuts. Head
Assembly will clearly
have “UP” labeled to
align its orientation to the
radar’s “TOP” markings
on Back Housing.
2. Loosen bolts on
Stabilizing Arms to slip
rings onto the Base Plate
pipe at the desired
orientation.
3. Install Base Plate with
Stabilizing Arms using
accompanied screws
onto wall at the desired
orientation. Ensure that
once installed, all
bolts/nuts are tightened
once final mounting
position is secured.
4. Slide on Head
Assembly with Radar
(radar not shown in
picture) onto the Base
Plate pipe. Then tighten
the three bolts on Head
Assembly at the desired
orientation to secure to
Base Plate. Once overall
orientation is desired,
tighten all bolts/nuts on
Assembly Arms and
Base Plate. Minor
adjustments of ±5° can
be made with Fine Tune
Adjusting Dials shown on
page 3.
WARNING: Before actual installation, read through these steps and get a clear understanding of the
mount’s brackets, pivot points, and adjustment dials to reduce confusion and possible injury at

Fine Tune Adjustments
1. Fine Tune Adjustment Dials for Pitch
and Yaw of the radar mount are indicated
by the picture to the left (Pitch = Blue, Yaw
= Red). Before you attempt to adjust these
dials, make sure the associated nuts are
loosened in the pictures below.
2. Minor adjustments for the Roll of the
radar mount are indicated by the picture to
the right. Before you attempt to adjust the
roll of the Head Assembly, loosen the two
bolts indicated in this picture.

A. Yaw Adjustment Nut
must be loosened in
order to adjust the
Yaw ±3° for the radar.
B. Yaw Adjustment Ruler
C. Pitch Adjustment Nuts
must be loosened in
order to adjust the
Pitch ±45°.
D. A Pitch Adjustment
Nut with Pitch
Adjustment Ruler are
found on both sides of
the mount.
