1. Important: Read all instructions carefully before first use.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.
3. Use only on a level, dry and heat-resistant surface.
4. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse cord, plug or the appliance in water or any other liquid.
See instructions for cleaning.
5. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or
near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow unit
to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the
appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

8. The use of accessories not provided may result in fire, electrical shock

13. Use extreme caution when moving the appliance containing rice,
hot oil or other liquids.
14. Do not touch, cover or obstruct the steam vent on the top of the rice
cooker as it is extremely hot and may cause scalds.
15. Use only with a 120V AC power outlet.
16. Always unplug from the base of the wall outlet. Never pull on the cord.
17. The rice cooker should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from
other operating appliances. If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other
appliances, the appliance may not operate properly.
18. Always make sure the outside of the inner cooking pot is dry prior to use. If
the inner pot is placed to the cooker when wet, it may damage or cause
the product to malfunction.

Basic safety precautions should always be followed when
using electrical appliances, including the following:

19. Use extreme caution when opening the lid during or after cooking. Hot
steam will escape and may cause scalds.
20. Rice should not be left in the inner cooking pot with the Keep-Warm
function on for more than 12 hours.
21. To prevent damage or deformation, do not use the inner cooking pot on a
stovetop or burner.
22. To disconnect, turn any control to OFF, then remove the plug from the wall
outlet.
23. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, cook only in the
removable inner cooking pot provided.
24. Intended for countertop use only.
25. Warning: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep appliance and cord
away from children. Never drape cord over edge of counter, never use outlet
below counter, and never use with an extension cord.

Polarized Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other); follow the
instructions below:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the
plug in any way.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

Cautions
Dry the external surface of the inner
pot with fabric, put it into the cooker,
please turn the inner pot for 2-3 times
to make it perfectly contact the heating
tray; then press the cooker lid till it
makes “Click” sound.
Power socket
Avoid heating the inner pot on other
stoves, otherwise, it may cause distortion
under high temperature; it is not allowed
to substitute the inner pot with other
containers on the heating tray.
Press the function button to select the desired function, then press the
“Start” button to enter into the working state, or press corresponding
function button to directly enter into the working state.

Assembling the inner pot and steam tray
• Press the lid release (N) to open the lid (G).
• Insert the inner pot (B) and tightly press it down.
• Insert the steam tray (C) into the inner pot (B).

• Place the product on an even and stable surface.
• Connect the plug to a socket outlet.
• Entering the standby mode: Tap the START button (U).
• Switching the product off: Tap the START button (U) while the product is in
standby mode.
• After use: Disconnect the product from the power supply.
• Enter the standby mode.
• Select the desired program by tapping the MENU button (V) or a quick select
button (W). While tapping the MENU button, the selected program is indicated
by the program indicators (S).
• If needed, change the cooking time by tapping the +/- buttons (P).
• Tap the START button (U) to start cooking.
• A running circle is shown on the display (R) as long as the rice cooker hasn't
reached the cooking temperature.
• When it reaches the cooking temperature, a countdown on the display (R)
shows the remaining cooking time.
• Cancel: Tap the WARM/CANCEL button (D)

Delayed Cooking

A delay timer can be set up to 24 hours before cooking should be completed
except in Manual, Browning/Saute Defrost and Quick Rice programs).
Setting the delay timer:
• After the desired program is set, do not start cooking by tapping the START
button (U). Tap instead the TIMER/TEMP button (O). An indicator lights up
above it.
• Tap the +/- buttons (P) to select the time period when the cooking should be
completed. The time can be set in hourly increments.
• Tap the START button (U) to start the timer.
• The remaining time until the cooking will be finished is shown on the display
(R).

Refer to the water scale on the inside of the inner pot (B) to use
the correct amount of water. 1 scale level of water is sufficient for 1
measuring cup (D) of rice.
Example: For cooking 4 measuring cups of rice the water should
reach level 4 on the water scale
Refer to the water scale on the inside of the inner pot (B) to use
the correct amount of water. 2 scale levels of water are sufficient for
100 g of pasta.
Example: For cooking 400 g of pasta, the water should reach level 8
on the water scale
For better results, stir the pasta during the first 1-2
minutes to prevent it from sticking together.

Browning/Sauté
Manual
Use a long-handled wooden or heat-safe non-scratch
spatula or spoon. DO NOT use the provided spatula or ladle to
sauté. The provided spatula or ladle is NOT intended to be used in
contact with high heat.
• Start “Browning/ Sauté” program (see “Start cooking”).
• Add oil to the inner pot (B) and heat up the oil for a few minutes. Let the lid
(G) open during this time.
• Add the ingredients to be sautéed or browned to the inner pot.
• Stir fry the ingredients.
• Once the sauté or browning is done, tap “WARM/CANCEL” to stop the
program.
You may also use this program to make seasoned rice or risotto:
• Start “Browning/ Sauté” program (see “Start cooking”).
• Add oil to the inner pot (B) and heat up the oil for a few minutes. Keep the lid
(G) open during this time.
• When the oil is heated, add the aromatics you choose (like onion) and coat
with oil.
• Add rice and stir fry.
• Add other ingredients (if you’re using any) to be sautéed to the inner pot.
• Stir fry and fully mix the ingredients.
• Add water, broth or stock to the inner pot.
• Close the lid and let it cook.
• After 10 minutes, you may check on the rice and give it a stir.
• Once the rice is cooked to desired softness, tap “WARM/CANCEL” to stop the
program. (The default time is 60 minutes. You may end the program earlier.
To cook longer than 60 minutes, you need to start the program again after 60
minutes.)

Keep Warm Function
Cleaning
After a program is finished, the keep warm function automatically switches on
(except in Browning/Saute and Defrost programs).
While the keep warm function is activated, Oappears on the display (R). The
indicator of the WARM/CANCEL button (T) lights up.
The keep warm function runs for up to 12 hours. Afterwards, the product
switches to standby mode.
To activate the keep warm function manually, tap the WARM/CANCEL button
(T) while the product is in standby mode.
• Let the product cool down to room temperature before cleaning.
• Before reassembling, dry all parts after cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal
or sharp utensils to clean the product.
• To clean the inner pot (B), the steam tray (C) and the utensils (D, E, F),
rinse them in warm water with a mild dishwashing detergent.
• The inner pot (B), the steam tray (C) and the utensils (D, E F), are
dishwasher safe (top rack only).
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug the product
before cleaning.
• To clean the housing, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the electrical
parts of the product in water or other liquids.Never hold the product
under running water.

Note: It is suggested to clean the steam valve frequently
to prevent clogs, please clean it after cooling for avoiding
scald.
