SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS
Please read this manual since it contains important information on the safety, use and maintenance of
your appliance. Keep in a safe place for future reference. Any use not conforming to safety requirements
will make Squesito not responsible.
• After removing the packaging make sure the appliance is undamaged and that no parts are missing. If
in doubt, do not use and contact your Squesito agent.
• Do not leave parts of packaging (plastic bags, foam polystyrene, nails, etc) within reach of children or
unqualified persons since they are potential sources of danger.
• f the appliance comes with an earth plug, the electrical safety is ensured only when this plug is
correctly connected to an effective earthing system in compliance with the existing electrical safety
standards. Squesito shall not be held responsible for any damages caused by the lack of an earthing
system.
• Before connecting the plug to the power outlet make sure the operating voltage of the appliance
corresponds to the voltage of your mains supply. If in doubt, contact a qualifi ed technician.
• Do not use adaptors, multiple plugs and extension leads. If necessary, only use devices that conform
to the current safety standards making sure they are compatible with your mains power and with the
technical data of the appliance.
• Any installation not conforming to the above instructions may compromise the safety of the appliance
and cancel the guarantee.
• The appliance was designed exclusively for domestic purposes to prepare espresso coffee and tea
with Squesito caps.
• For safety reasons:
- do not use the appliance with bare feet and with wet hands or feet
- do not use the appliance outside the home
- do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain…)
- never pull on the power cord or on the appliance itself to disconnect the plug from the power outlet
- do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged into the main power supply
- never immerge the appliance in water or other liquids.

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The power cord of the appliance must not be replaced by the user. If necessary contact your agent or
qualified technician.
• Switch off and do not tamper with the appliance should it breakdown and/or not function properly.
For any possible repairs contact your Squesito agent and request the use of original spare parts.
• Make the appliance unserviceable at the end of its running life by unplugging it from the power outlet
and cutting the power cord. Abide by the existing standards in your country for instructions on its
disposal.
IMPORTANT
• Only fi ll the tank with clean and cold water. Never fi ll the tank with mineral water, milk or other
liquids
• On fi rst use, operate the appliance and all its parts only with water to remove any process residuals
from the inside of the boiler.
• Always turn off the appliance after use.
• DO NOT store the machine at temperatures lower than 0°C to prevent irreparable damage.
• DO NOT place the empty capsule tray into the dishwasher as the polish might be damaged.
• DO NOT leave the machine ON without water tank.

ATTENTION – SHUT OFF DEVICE
With the Shut-off Devise, machine turns off automatically, assuring you a remarkable energetic saving and a grater duration
and functionality of your machine.
The machine is equipped with a device that, 9 MINUTES after the distribution of the last coffee, will turn
off the machine.
You have turned on the machine and you have made one or more coffees.
The machine will automatically turn-off after 9 MINUTES after the last coffee distribution.
If you wish to turn off the machine manually, without using the Shut-Off Devise, press and hold
pressed the ON/OFF botton for 5 SECONDS (B).

Now the machine is settled
to the desired coffee quanti-
ty. For following coffe it will
be enough to press shortly

To reprogram the desired coffee quantity, repeat the above descripted procedure.
It could be possible to find little differences on brewed coffee quantities respect to the programmed one due to the different
coffee blend used or, for example, in case of water hardness change. If it happens, please adapt the brewed coffee quanti-
ty to the new condition performing a new programming operation.
The default settled time, pressing the coffee button (A), is 40 seconds. To return at default conditions: switch off the machine
– hold down the coffee button (A) and subsequently push the ON/OFF button until the green light blink quickly 3 times. The
machine is now come back to default conditions.

DESCALING PROCEDURE
Pour the contents of the bag
into a container with 1 liter
of warm water.

WARNING: limestone (normally present in water) can seriously compromise the correct coffee machine operation.
Squesito recommends to perform the descaling operation regularly or at least one time a month.
IMPORTANT: the factory is not responsible for malfunctioning on no functioning during
warranty period for lack of descaling by the user
Read carefully the instruction. Do not use vinegar. Do not interrupt the descaling procedure
until it is finished.

No indicaticator lights
The machine make a strange noise
The indicator lights are steady on, but no coffee come
out.
There is water at the machine base
Slight hiss after the coffee brewing.
The front door does not open.
There is few or no coffee cream.
No more water comes out from coffee nozzle (E).
THE MACHINE DOES NOT WORK
TROUBLESHOOTING
Check if the power plug is correctly inserted into the wall socket,
that the ON/OFF button (B) has been pressed and that the red indi-
cator light in on.
Check that there is water in the water tank (J).
The coffee nozzle (E) could be blocked. Clean it according
greases (essential oils). Clean it according
to instruction brought in the paragraph “Cleaning procedure”
The capsule inserted could be defected. WAIT A FEW MOMENTS
BEFORE OPEN THE FRONT DOOR, then try with a new capsule.
Be sure that the front door (D) is properly closed.
Check that the water tank (J) is correctly inserted on its seat. If any
water is still present under the machine, please contact the after
sales service.
It is not a fault, the the normal operation of the pressure control
valve.
This could be due to a defective capsule. Please do not use too
much force to open it. Let the machine cool down for few minutes
until the front door could be open easily. Please remove the
defective capsule
Every brewed coffee left inside the coffee nozzle some greases
(essential oils).
Clean it according to instruction brought in the paragraph “Cleaning
procedure”

Which are the default settings for the coffee
machine?
Is it possible to restore the default coffee
machine settings?
What does it happen if during the coffee
brewing any button is pushed?
If the machine is disconnected by the wall
socket, will the program be cancelled?
Which is the minimum and maximum coffee
quantity programmable?
The coffee button (A) green light is still not
steady on. How long should you wait before
youcan use the machine?
The default brewing time of the coffee machine is
40 seconds.
In order to restore the default coffee machine settings: switch
off; hold down the coffee button (A) and subsequently push
the ON/OFF button until the green light blink quickly 3 times.
The machine is now restored to the default settings.
The coffee brewing is interrupted in advance
The coffee brewing is interrupted in advance
After one minute the machine stop automatically. The coffee brewing
time stored will be one minute. If the user try to settle the brewing time
for less than 10 seconds, the minimun coffee brewing time will be
automatically settle to 10 seconds.
The coffee machine need a few time to allow water to reach
the optimal tempeature. At that time the machine will be
ready for coffee brewing
