ROOM PLACEMENT
Left and Right Main Channel Speakers
Foroptimumperformance,StarkeSound™suggestsplacingyourspeakers7to
18feet(2.1to5.5m)apart.Theyalsoneedtobetoed-inslightlytoplacethe
listeneronaxisforbetterstereoimaging.Thelisteningpositionshouldbeabout
1to1.5timesthedistanceseparatingthespeakers.RefertoFigures1and3for
connectionandplacement.
Center Channel Speaker
AtStarkeSound™theCenterChannelspeakerisdesignedtobalanceequally
withthemainspeakers.Trytokeepthecenterchannel'stweeterheightthesame
asthemainspeakerʼstweeterheight.IfyouareusingaTVornontransparent
screen,thespeakershouldbeplacedasclosetotheplaneofthescreenas
possible,preferablydirectlyontoporbelowthescreen.RefertoFigures1,2,and
3forconnectionandplacement.
Surround Channel Speakers
StarkeSound™surroundspeakersshouldbeplacedatthesameheightasthe
listenerʼsearheightorabove.Typicallythiswillbeanywherefrom4-10feet(1.2to
3m)abovethefloor.Thesurroundsshouldbeplacedonthewallsdirectly
adjacenttothelisteningposition.Accordingtowhatsurroundstandardyouwill
playplaceyoursurroundspeakersatthespecifiedlocationsdictatedbythat
particularformat.RefertoFigures1and3forconnectionandplacement.

BLACK“negative”(‒)terminalofyouramplifierʼsLEFTchannel.Repeatthis
procedureforconnectingallremainingspeakerstotheappropriateamplifier
channels.RefertoFigure3.Makesurethatnobarewiresfromanyofthe
connectionstouchanyotherterminalsasthiscouldcauseashortanddamage
yourequipment.
Amplifier RequirementsStarkeSound™Briospeakersarehighly
efficientandwilloperateeasilywithawidevarietyofamplifiers.AllBriospeakers
are4-ohmcompatibleandcanbedriventoveryhighlevelswithlowdistortion.
DuetothehighoutputlevelsBriospeakersarecapableofreproducingexercise
cautionwiththevolumecontrol.Excessivevolumeoverlongperiodsoftimecan
permanentlydamageyourhearing.Overdrivingyouramplifiercouldalso
damagethespeakers.Checkwithyourdealeroramplifiermanualtomakesure
yourparticularamplifierisbestsuitedtoyourapplication.Also,askyourdealerto
calibrateyousystemproperly.Wehopeyouhaveanwonderfullistening

Neverapplyanyabrasiveorsolvent-basedcleanseroranyharshdetergents.You
cancleanthegrilleswithatypicalvacuumcleanerbrushattachment.
Note:Inordertopreventanydamagecausedbykids,pets,mishandling,etc.all
Briogrillesarefixedforyourconvenienceandshouldnotberemoved.
