Locate all parts for this
step.
Please note the aileron
ruderhorn is 10mm
longer than the other to
ensure an optimal linka-
ge.
Center the servo with a
servo tester.
Add threadlock to the
servo screw and install
the servohorn perpen-
dicular. Remove any arm
that may interfere with
the operation of the
servo. Install the servo in
the servo mount. Thread
the nut and the clevis on
the threadet rod. The th-
readet rod should protru-
de as shown in the foto.
Aileron

32
Manual Straton
EN Use sandpaper to sand
the bottom of the wing
and the servo mount.
Route the servo cable in
the wing and glue the
the servo mount with
the installed servo in the
wing. We recommend
Uhu Endfest 300. Plese
note that this glue takes
several hours to cure.
Fix the aileron with tape
to neutral and mark the
position of the rudder
horn.

33
Manual Straton
EN
Drill with a 4mm drill a
vertical hole with 8mm
depth.
Glue the ruder horn
with epoxy. The distance
of the linkage hole in
the rudder horn to the
surface should be 12mm.
Please take care that
you not glue deeper as
the rudder throw will be
limited.
Install the linkage tem-
porary and mark the
position where the rod
meet the servo horn.

34
Manual Straton
EN Use a Z-Bender pliers for
the aileron rod.
Cut the rod 10mm be-
hind the Z- bend.
Install the z-Bend in the
outermost hole of the ser-
vo horn. Enlarge the hole
if needed. Connect the
clevis to the rudder horn.
Adjust the clevis so the
aileron is centered when
the servo is centered
using the radio system.
Tighten the nut against
the clevis and use some
threadlock.
Use hobby scissors to trim
the aileron servo cover.
Dont use the markings as
these will not x. You have
to measure the correct
dimension.
The cover is attached to the
wing using clear tape or
thin CA.

Locate all parts for this
step. Install the servo
arm perpendicular. Cut
the servo cable to 5cm
lenght.
Remove any arm that
may interfere with the
operation of the servo.
Enlarge the second hole
to 1,6mm.
Flaps

36
Manual Straton
EN The Flaps will be actua-
ted through the top of
the wing. Use a round le
to prepare a channel for
the linkage.
Enlarge the hole at the
exit in the direction to
the hinge, that the lin-
kage will not be blocked
when the aps are full
driven.
Drill a hole in a 45° angle
for the rudder horn. You
can drill it a bit deeper
than the aileron.

37
Manual Straton
EN
Glue the ruderhorn with
epoxy. The ruderhorn
should stick nearly to the
at area in the ap.
Sand the bottom of
the wing and the servo
mount thoroughly. Pull
the cable of the aileron
servo and a female servo
connector through this
part of the wing.
Use Epoxy to glue the
servo mount in the wing.
Install the linkage tem-
porary.
Please note that the
clevis should threated
only some turns on the
rod that the linkage can
adjusted shorter later.

38
Manual Straton
EN Fix the ap to the maxi-
mum up position (Speed
position) .
Adjust the servo to the
maximum throw with the
servo horn facing to the
leading edge of the wing.
Mark the linkage for the
Z-Bender.
Use a Z-Bender pliers on
the marking.
Connect the linkage to
the servo horn.
Install the servo in the
mount.

you will nd plywood parts. Glue
them as shown with thin CA.

42
Manual Straton
EN Sand all parts thoroughly
that will have contact
with glue.
Apply enough Uhu Endfest to the adhesive surfaces and join the fuselage parts. Position the
fuselage a shown on the device. The fuselage must have contact on the three points marked
