Surfaces
Do not use ordinary furniture polish or cleaning agents, as these
usually contain wax or silicone that may cause damage to your
system. Use a micro fiber polishing cloth, dry or slightly dampened
with de-mineralised water to polish the surfaces instead. This
especially applies to products with a high gloss lacquer finish.
Do not attempt to polish out scratches; instead contact your
certified Steinway Lyngdorf dealer.
Changing the remote control batteries
If the SP-1 Stereo Processor does not respond to remote control
commands, it may be because the batteries need to be replaced.
Use a cross-tip (PH1) screwdriver to remove the locking screw
from the battery compartment. The locking screw is at the base of
the remote control. When you have removed the locking screw,
the battery compartment is automatically ejected from the bottom
of the remote control. Remove the used batteries and replace
them with two AAA-size alkaline batteries. Insert the battery
compartment and tighten the locking screw.
Service
Do not attempt to open the product or perform service on the
system yourself. This may cause damage to the system. Contact
your certified Steinway Lyngdorf dealer instead.
