WARNING
Stelpro Design recommends that the installation of this product be
performed by a certified electrician. Before installing this product,
ensure that the breaker at the electrical panel is switched to the
OFF position.
Make sure that all the electrical connections are secure and have
been made properly. Pull each wire to ensure it is not loose in the
connector or the terminal board as this may cause a fire.
Right installation only.
Note that the power supply must come from the right side.

DETAILED INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOR B BASEBOARD
HEATER THERMOSTAT (B1T1ER)

Remove the front panel by tilting its
bottom part upward.
Remove the coverplate of the wiring
compartment by loosening the screw
(note that this coverplate will no
longer be required as the thermostat
is equipped with its own coverplate).
3Perform the electrical connexions as
indicated on the following diagram.

5Properly position the wire connectors
on the left side of the junction box.
Then, secure them under the heating
element or the thermal protection.

Afx the left upper corner of the
thermostat on the upper slot.
Pull out the metallic part as shown in
order to insert the thermostat cover.
Secure the thermostat by tightening
the screw that has been removed at
step 2.

Note that it is very important to follow each step as shown below to ensure
that the coverplate closes properly
4The sensor must be properly secured
into the slot since the cover of the
junction box will have to be closed
later on. The sensor must be directed
downward (see the illustration).
Push down the thermostat until it
clips into place (under the metallic
insert located at the right side of the
junction box). Do not push it below
the second metallic insert.

This unit has a 1-year warranty. If at any time during this period the unit becomes
defective, it must be returned to its place of purchase with the invoice copy, or simply
contact our customer service department (with an invoice copy in hand). In order for
the warranty to be valid, the unit must have been installed and used according to
instructions. If the installer or the user modies the unit, he will be held responsible for
any damage resulting from this modication. The warranty is limited to the factory repair
or the replacement of the unit, and does not cover the cost of disconnection, transport,
and installation.
