OÙ INSTALLER VOTRE
CONTRÔLEUR• THERMOSTAT
MAESTRO?
Un minimum de planication permettra
d’optimiser le réseau maillé de MAESTRO
et favori sera une bonne communication
entre les appareils.
Le contrôleur • thermostat doit être installé
à environ 1,5 m (5 pi) du sol, sur un mur
inté rieur faisant face au système de
chauffage.
Prévoyez d’installer le contrôleur dans un
endroit central. Cela favorisera la commu-
nication vers les différentes pièces. Dans
l'exemple cicontre, le contrôleur pourrait
être positionné à l’entrée du salon (1) ou
de la salle à manger (2).
Le signal pourrait avoir de la difculté
à se rendre jusqu’à la salle de bains des
maîtres puisqu’il pourrait être entravé
par la laveuse/sécheuse (3) et la douche
(4). Si un thermostat MAESTRO est placé
dans la chambre des maîtres (5), il pourra
toutefois relayer les signaux entre le con-
trôleur et le thermostat de la salle de bains
des maîtres.
ATTENTION: Laissez un dégagement
d’au moins 30 cm (12 po) autour
du contrôleur • thermostat pour qu’il
soit adéquatement ventilé.
WHERE TO INSTALL
YOUR MAESTRO
CONTROLLER • THERMOSTAT?
A bit of planning will optimize MAESTRO’s
mesh network and ensure that devices
communicate well.
Install the controller • thermostat at
approximately 1.5 m (5 ft.) from the oor,
on an indoor wall that faces the heating
system.
Plan to install the controller in a
central location. Doing so will facilitate
communication with the various rooms.
In this example, the controller could be
positioned at the entrance to the living
room (1) or dining room (2).
The signal may have a hard time getting
to the master bathroom as the washer/
dryer (3) and shower (4) could be barriers.
If a MAESTRO thermostat is placed in the
master bedroom (5), it will help relay the
signals between the controller and the
master bathroom thermostat.
IMPORTANT: Leave a clearance of
at least 30 cm (12 in.) around the
controller • thermostat to ensure it
is properly ventilated.

du système de chauffage. Turn off the heating system’s power supply.
ATTENTION: Pour éviter les risques
d'incendie, de choc électrique ou
d'électrocution, couper le courant au
panneau électrique et s'assurer que le
circuit est bien coupé. Suivre le code
électrique en vigueur dans votre région.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of re,

make sure the circuit is properly shut
down. Follow the electrical code effec-
tive in your region.

• Congurer le mode vestibule (Pièce
standard / Vestibule)  Option seulement
disponible si le mode de chauffage est
Aéroconvecteur et si la détection de
fenêtre ouverte est désactivée.
• Activer/désactiver la détection de
fenêtre ouverte.  Option uniquement
disponible si le mode vestibule est pièce
standard
• Verrouiller/déverrouiller le clavier
• Congurer l’écran de veille
(1, 5, 10 ou 30 minutes)
• Activer/désactiver la détection
de proximité

Lobby mode is Standard room.
• Lock/unlock keyboard
• Congure screen saver

• Activate/deactivate proximity detection
