Summit Broadband Digital Adapter User manual

Connect one end of a coaxial cable to the coaxial wall outlet and connect
the other end to the “CABLE IN” port on the Digital Adapter.
Connect one end of another coaxial cable to the “TO TV” port on the
Digital Adapter and the other end to the input port on the TV.
Connect the power cord to the electrical wall outlet and the “+5V DC IN”
port on the Digital Adapter.
Make sure the channel 3/4 switch on the back of the Digital Adapter
matches the channel on your television. If your Digital Adapter is set to
channel “3”, make sure that your television is also on channel “3”.

Your remote control can be paired directly with your Digital Adapter, allowing you to place the
device out of sight (for example: in an entertainment center or behind your TV).
1. Press the MENU buon on the remote control
2. Select the REMOTE CONTROL opon and then select the REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING opon
3. Press and hold the SETUP buon unl the LED indicator turns green
4. Press the MENU buon (allow a few seconds for the menu to display)
5. Enter the pairing code displayed in blue on the pairing code pop-up screen
Once your remote control is paired to a specic Digital Adapter, it will not control any other Digital
Adapter in your home.
To remove the pairing:
1. Press and hold the SETUP buon unl the LED indicator turns green
2. Enter 9-8-7 on the remote control
3. The LED indicator will blink green twice
Press the MENU buon on your remote control to access the main menu and update your Digital
Adapter sengs. Press the arrow buons (qut) to navigate through the menu. Press EXIT
anyme to return to watching live TV.

Audio Language
• Select AUDIO LANGUAGE
• Press the OK buon on your remote control
• Scroll to select the desired audio language

• Select CLOSED CAPTIONING
• Press OK to change the status from ON/OFF
• Select APPLY to change the seng
Locks Setup
The rst me you enter Locks Setup, it will prompt
you to Create Locks PIN. This PIN will be needed to
Change PIN, Clear PIN and Set Channel Locks.
Set Channel Locks
• Select CHANNEL LOCKS
• Scroll up or down to highlight the channel you
would like to lock
• Press the OK buon and you will see the
unblock icon change to lock
TV Ratings Lock
Use the arrow (/q) buons to highlight the TV
Rangs you want locked and select OK to lock or
unlock the rangs. When you select a rang it will
lock all programs with that rang and higher.

Force remote control to send volume commands to the TV:
1. Press and hold the SETUP buon unl the LED indicator turns green
2. Press the VOLUME UP buon on the remote control
or press the VOLUME DOWN buon to force the remote control to send the vol-
ume control commands to the Digital Adapter.
