ln case of failure in the electricity supply the battery takes over and the alarm
clock stays at the correct time.
(During a power failure the digits are not displayed).
CAUTION: Do not leave the battery connected without the power supply as it
will quickly become exhausted.
You may test your battery back-up by temporarily removing the power plug from
the AC outlet. With the set unplugged the clock should continue to keep the
correct time but no time display will be seen. When you plug the clock into the
AC outlet again, the clock display will light, show the proper time, and should
not blink. lf display blinks, replace battery.
OPERATION
Plug the cord into any 124 volt 60 Hz AC outlet. The time display will flash
on and off. This is normal and will continue until the steps outlined under
SETTING THE TIME are followed and the alarm switch is moved to the OFF
pos ition.
SETTING THE TIME
1. Move alarm onloff sel,ector switch to the OFF position.
2. For HOUR - press and hold the TIME set button while pressing the HOUR
set button, to advance hour display until the correct time appears.
3. For MINUTE - press and hold TIME set button while pressing the MINUTE
set button to advance the minute display until the correct time appears.
NOTE: Be sure to set the time for AM or PM (PM indicator light on orof{}.

SETTING THE ALARM
1. Move alarm on/off selector to OFF position'
2. Press and hold ALARM set button. Use the HOUR and MINUTE set buttons
- io i"itnu tirne you wish the alarm to sound. Release the ALARM ser button.
3. Move alarm on/oJf Selector to oN position. Alarm "on" indicator light will
appear in the upper left hand corner of disptay'
4. The "beep-tone" alarm sound will wake you at the desired time'
NOTE: Your clock has a 24 hour melrlory alarm' When setting your alaIm
time Ue sure to set it correctly AM or PM' l{ you wish to beawakened at the
,rme time the next day, move the alarm on/off selector to the oFF position

iwat<ened by the alarm, leave the switch in the OFF position'
SNOOZE REPEAT ALARM OPERATION
Whenthealarmsounds.simplytouchtheSNooZEbuttontosilencealarm-The
aiarm will sound again appioximately 9 minutes later. This can be repeated as
often as you wish, for uP to 2 hour.
To silence alarm, move on/off selector to OFF position'
