Attention:
Before using your SunnyCam camera, please read carefully
all the safety information included with your camera.
All SunnyCam products must be used in conjunction with
your country’s privacy laws. Please use SunnyCam products
responsibly at all times. SunnyCam accepts no liability for
any misuse, accident or injury resulting from this product.
SunnyCam Xtreme Edition is rated IP66 water resistant but is
not waterproof. Please never submerge your SunnyCam
underwater otherwise it will void your manufacturers
warranty.
The SunnyCam lenses are UV protected but not shatterproof.

This Quick Start Guide will show you the basics of capturing
life in true POV (point-of-view) with SunnyCam.

Before you start
Charging the battery
Before using the camera for the first time or when the battery has
been unused for extended periods, please ensure the battery is
fully charged.
Important:
After fully charging the device, please disconnect the cable. Avoid charging
the device overnight to maximise battery life.
Unapproved chargers or cables can cause the battery to explode or
damage the device.
Connecting the charger improperly may cause damage to the device. Any
misuse is not covered by the warranty.
Charge the camera using the USB cable included.
The camera will start to charge automatically when connected.
The Charging LED (red) will be on while the camera is charging.
The Charging LED (red) will turn off when the camera is fully charged.

Take a photo
Hold down the Power Button [ ] until the device vibrates.
The camera will first vibrate and the Video LED (red) will turn off.
Your video file will automatically be saved.

Start recording
Recording video has never been so easy. The single button built
into the frame arm controls the camera functions.
Stop recording (Power Off)
Recording a video
Hold down the Power Button [ ] until the device vibrates.
The Video LED (red) will now start flashing.
The camera is now recording video.

The camera can also take still photos while recording video.
Press the Power Button [ ] once.
The camera will vibrate and the Photo LED (blue) will flash once.

You can play back your content on any computer, laptop, TV with
the included USB cable.
Playback your videos
To connect your device.
Connect the camera with the USB cable included.
The camera will vibrate once and both the Charging LED (red) and the
Video LED (red) will turn on.
The removable drive can now be accessed.
Important:
Your device must be able to play MOV files (H.264 Codec), JPG still photos
and be USB compatible.
Set time and date
You can set the time and date on the device and add a timestamp
to the video.
Connect your device with the USB cable provided.
Visit www.sunnycam.com/support/
Select the time and date you wish to set.
Download the ‘time.txt’ file.
Copy the file into the root file of the connected device and eject the drive.

Important:
Please make sure you don’t have any old ‘time.txt’ files located in your
download folder or the file name might automatically get changed by your
system e.g.’time(1).txt’ or ‘time copy.txt’. If this happens, please rename the
file back to ‘time.txt’ before ejecting the removable drive.

Extended battery life
You can extend the device battery life with a USB portable power
pack device.
Please visit www.sunnycam.com for compatible devices
Connect your device to the USB power pack. The Charging LED (red)
will now turn on (charging mode).
Press the power button [ ] once
The device will now vibrate, the Video LED (red) will start to flash and the
Charging LED (red) will remain on.
The device is now recording video in extended battery mode.

Important:
Remember to make sure you have enough memory on the camera when
recording longer videos.
While the device is switched off, press the Reset button through the
hole with a small pin.
Restore to factory settings
USB Power Pack
Important:
Use the factory reset button if you are experiencing problems with your
device.
If you continue to experience problems, try reformatting the memory drive
on the camera. Connect the device by USB then follow your version of
Windows®or Mac OS X®memory card reformat instructions.

Change Lenses
Alerts
To remove the lenses; gently push the lens from the inside until you
feel the lens release from the frame groove.
To place the lenses into the frame; gently place the lens into the top
part of the frame groove, then slowly push the lens into the frame
until it securely clips into position.

Warranty:
SunnyCam products and accessories have a guaranteed 1 year manufacturing warranty from the
original date of purchase. Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, water damage or physical
damage that cannot be considered reasonable wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.
Warranty is also invalid if an unauthorised person conducts any alterations and/or repairs.
Replacement Scheme:
SunnyCam offer a replacement scheme for customers with SunnyCam eyewear outside of warranty,
This marking on the product, accessories or literature indicates that the product and electronic
accessories (e.g. USB cable) should not be disposed of with other household waste.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or to human health from uncontrolled waste disposal,
please separate these items from other types of waste and recycle them responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resources.
Household users should contact either the retailer where they purchased this product, or their local
government office, for details of where and how they can take these items for environmentally safe
