ThiscameraisequippedwithaLithiumIonrechargeablebattery.Makesuretochargeyourbatteryfor10‐12

‐Apictureofavideocamerawillflashintheupperleftcornertoconfirmthatthecameraisrecording.
‐Yourcurrentvideocliprecordtimewilldisplayonthebottomleftofthescreen.
‐Totalrecordtimeremainingwilldisplayonthebottomleftofthescreenwhenvideorecordingispaused/stopped.

1.**MakesurethecameraispoweredOFFbeforeconnectingittoyourcomputer.**
2.PlugthesmallendoftheUSBcable(provided)intothecameraandthelargeendoftheUSBcableintoaUSB
portonyourcomputer.ThecamerawillpoweronanddefaulttotheDV(DigitalVideo)mode.
3.PresstheESCbuttontoexittheDVmode.ThecamerawillentertheUSBConnectionMode.Whenthecamera
entersthismode,apictureofaUSBcablewillbeshownontheLCDscreenandyourcomputerwillautomatically
installthecamera.
4.Doubleclickon“MyComputer.”Therewillbetwonewiconslistedin“MyComputer”thatarelabeledas
“RemovableDisk.”Oneofthemwillrepresentthecamera’s“built‐in”memoryandtheotherwillrepresenttheSD
CardSlotonthecamera.
5.Doubleclickonthelocation(removabledisk)thatyouwishtosaveyourmediato.
**Note:IfyouattempttoopenthedrivethatrepresentstheSDCardSlot,butdonothaveaSDCard
insertedintheplayer,youwillreceiveanerrormessagesaying“Pleaseinsertadiskintodrive...”Ifthis
occurs,attempttoopenthealternate“RemovableDisk.”
6.Saveyourmediatothecorrespondingfolderlocatedinsideoftheremovabledisk(i.e.MP3filesshouldbe
storedintheMUSICfolder).Youcansaveyourmediatothesefoldersby“copyingandpasting”or“draggingand
dropping”themintothefolder.

SDCardUse
Inserting/RemovingSDCard
‐Holdthecamerainyourhandwiththebatterysidefacingup.
‐InserttheSDCardintotheSDCardSlotwiththemetalconnectorsontheSDCardfacingup.
‐UsethetipofyourfingertopresstheSDCardintotheSDCardSlotuntilyourheara“click.”
‐ToremovetheSDCard,pressagainuntiltheSDCardclicksandejectsfromtheSDCardSlot.
DownloadingMediafromYourCameratoYourComputer
1.Refertosteps#1‐4of“LoadingMediatoYourCamera.”(shownabove)
2.Doubleclickonthelocation(removabledisk)fromwhichyouwishtodownloadmedia.
3.Openthefolderthatcorrespondstothetypeofmediathatyouwishtodownloadtoyourcomputer(i.e.ifyou
wishtodownloadmoviesthatyouhaverecordedwiththecamera,theywillbestoredintheVIDEOfolder).
4.“CopyandPaste”or“DragandDrop”themediafilesintoanewlocationonyourdesktop.
Troubleshooting

‐Makesurebatteryisfullyconnected.
‐Chargethebatteryfor2hoursormore.
‐Removebatterymomentarilyandreplacebackintoposition.
