NORMAS GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
Este GENERADOR tiene características que ha-
rán su trabajo más rápido y fácil. Seguridad, co-
modidad y confiabilidad fueron previstos como
prioridad para el diseño del mismo, haciendo
más fácil su operación.
ADVERTENCIA: Lea todas las advertencias
de seguridad y todas las instrucciones. La omi-
sión de alguna de las advertencias e instruccio-
nes que se enlistan a continuación puede dar
como resultado un choque eléctrico, fuego y/o
un daños serios. CONSERVE TODAS LAS ADVER-
TENCIAS Y TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES.
NOTA: La expresión “herramienta” en las adver-
tencias se refiere a la herramienta eléctrica que
se conecta a la fuente de alimentación (con ca-
ble) o a la herramienta que se acciona a batería
(sin cable).
SEGURIDAD EN EL ÁREA DE TRABAJO
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien ilu-
minada. Las áreas desordenadas y oscuras pro-
vocan accidentes.
No maneje herramientas eléctricas en atmós-
feras explosivas, tales como en presencia de
líquidos inflamables, gases o polvo. Las herra-
mientas eléctricas crean chispas que pueden en-
cender el polvo o los humos.
Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos mien-
tras maneja una herramienta eléctrica. Las dis-
tracciones pueden causarle la pérdida del con-
trol.
SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
La clavija de la herramienta eléctrica debe
coincidir con receptáculo. No modificar nunca
la clavija de ninguna manera. No usar ningún
adaptador de clavijas con herramientas eléctri-
cas puestas a tierra. Clavijas no modificadas y
bases coincidentes reducirán el riesgo de cho-
que eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies
puestas a tierra como tuberías, radiadores, co-
cinas eléctricas y refrigeradores. Hay un riesgo
aumentado de choque eléctrico si su cuerpo está
puesto a tierra.
No exponga las herramientas eléctricas a la llu-
via o a condiciones de humedad. El agua que
entre en la herramienta aumentará el riesgo de
choque eléctrico.
No abuse del cable. No usar nunca el cable para
llevar, levantar o desenchufar la herramienta
eléctrica. Mantenga el cable lejos del calor, acei-
te, cantos vivos o piezas en movimiento. Los
cables dañados o enredados aumentan el riesgo
de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta eléctrica en el
exterior, use una prolongación de cable adecua-
da para uso en el exterior. El uso de una prolon-
gación de cable adecuada para uso en el exte-
rior reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Si el uso de una herramienta en un lugar hú-
medo es inevitable, use una alimentación pro-
tegida por un dispositivo de corriente residual
(RCD). El uso de un RCD reduce el riesgo de cho-
que eléctrico.
EXTENSIONES DE CABLE
NOTA: El uso de cables dañados incrementa el
riesgo de descargas eléctricas o quemaduras.
Si es necesario un cable de extensión, debe ser
usado un cable con el tamaño adecuado de los
conductores. La tabla de la siguiente página,
muestra el tamaño correcto para usar depen-
diendo en la longitud del cable y el rango de
amperaje especificado en la etiqueta de valores
nominales del producto. Si está en duda, use el
rango próximo más grande.
Siempre use cables de extensión listados en UL,
CSA ó NOM. TAMAÑOS RECOMENDADOS DE
EXTENSIONES DE CABLE:
Cuando esté usando el producto afuera, use
una extensión para exteriores marcadas con lo
siguiente: “WA” o “W”. Estas extensiones están
pensadas para trabajar en exteriores y reducen
el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.

SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el
sentido común cuando maneje una herramien-
ta eléctrica. No use una herramienta eléctrica
cuando esté cansado o bajo la influencia de
drogas, alcohol o medicamentos. Un momento
de distracción mientras maneja herramientas
eléctricas puede causar un daño personal serio.

Use equipo de seguridad. Lleve siempre protec-
ción para los ojos. La utilización para las con-
diciones apropiadas de un equipo de seguridad
tal como mascarilla antipolvo, zapatos no resba-
ladizos, gorro duro, o protección para los oídos
reducirá los daños personales.
Evite un arranque accidental. Asegúrese de que
el interruptor está en posición apagado antes
de conectar a la red y/o a la batería, coger o
transportar la herramienta. Transportar herra-
mientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el interrup-
tor o enchufar herramientas eléctricas que tie-
nen en interruptor en posición encendido invita
a accidentes.
Retire llaves o herramienta antes de arrancar la
herramienta eléctrica. Una llave o herramienta
dejada unida a una pieza rotativa de una herra-
mienta eléctrica puede causar un daño personal.
No se sobrepase. Mantenga los pies bien asen-
tados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en
todo momento. Esto permite un mejor control
de la herramienta eléctrica en situaciones ines-
peradas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o jo-
yas. Mantenga su pelo, su ropa y guantes aleja-
dos de las piezas en movimiento. La ropa suelta,
las joyas o el pelo largo pueden ser cogidos en
las piezas en movimiento.
Si hay dispositivos para la conexión de medios
de extracción y recolección de polvo, asegúrese
de que éstos estén conectados y se usen correc-
tamente. El uso de estos dispositivos puede re-
ducir los peligros relacionados con el polvo.
IMPORTANTE: Este aparato no se destina
para utilizarse por personas (incluyendo niños)
cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
sean diferentes o estén reducidas, o carezcan de
experiencia o conocimiento, a menos que dichas
personas reciban una supervisión o capacitación
para el funcionamiento del aparato por una
persona responsable de su seguridad. Los niños
deben supervisarse para asegurar que ellos no
empleen los aparatos como juguete.
UTILIZACIÓN Y CUIDADOS DE LAS
HERRAMIENTAS ELÉCTRICAS
No fuerce la herramienta eléctrica. Use la he-
rramienta eléctrica correcta para su aplicación.
La herramienta eléctrica correcta hará el traba-
jo mejor y más seguro al ritmo para la que fue
concebida.
No use la herramienta eléctrica si el interruptor
no acciona “encendido” y “apagado”. Cualquier
herramienta eléctrica que no pueda controlarse
con el interruptor es peligrosa y debe repararse.
Desconecte la clavija de la fuente de alimenta-
ción y/o de la batería antes de efectuar cual-
quier ajuste, cambio de accesorios, o de alma-
cenar las herramientas eléctricas. Tales medidas
preventivas de seguridad reducen el riesgo de
arrancar la herramienta accidentalmente.
Almacene las herramientas eléctricas inactivas
fuera del alcance de los niños y no permita el
manejo de la herramienta eléctrica a personas
no familiarizadas con las herramientas o con
estas instrucciones. Las herramientas eléctricas
son peligrosas en manos de usuarios no entre-
nados.
Mantenga las herramientas eléctricas. Com-
pruebe que las partes móviles no estén desa-
lineadas o trabadas, que no haya piezas rotas
u otras condiciones que puedan afectar la ope-
ración de las herramientas eléctricas. Las herra-
mientas eléctricas se reparan antes de su uso,
cuando están dañadas. Muchos accidentes son
causados por herramientas eléctricas pobremen-
te mantenidas.
Mantenga las herramientas de corte afiladas y
limpias. Las herramientas de corte mantenidas
correctamente con los bordes de corte afilados
son menos probables de trabarse y más fáciles
de controlar.
Use la herramienta eléctrica, accesorios y pun-
tas de herramienta, etc. de acuerdo con estas
instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el
tipo particular de herramienta eléctrica, tenien-
do en cuenta las condiciones de trabajo y el tra-
bajo a desarrollar. El uso de la herramienta eléc-
trica para aplicaciones diferentes de las previstas
podría causar una situación de peligro.
SERVICIO: Haga revisar su herramienta eléctrica
por un servicio de reparación calificado usando
solamente piezas de reemplazo idénticas. Esto
garantizará que la seguridad de la herramienta
eléctrica se mantiene.
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA
GENERADORES A GASOLINA
No utilice este generador en áreas sin ventila-
ción o interiores. Los gases emitidos por el es-
cape son altamente peligrosos, el monóxido de
carbono concentrado puede causarle mareos o
incluso la muerte.
Este generador debe de posicionarse firmemen-
te en el suelo.
La salida eléctrica no debe de exceder la capa-
cidad máxima especificada en la etiqueta de

datos. El exceder la capacidad de carga podría
dañar la unidad y acortar su vida de uso, esto a
consecuencia invalidaría la garantía.
Todo lo que requiera conectar al generador
debe de estar en óptimas condiciones.
Mantenga el área al rededor del generador lim-
pia y despejada. Nunca coloque el generador
contra un edificio, cerca de estructuras de plásti-
co, tiendas de campaña, etc.
Siempre utilice la mezcla correcta de gasolina y
aceite indicada en este manual o en las etique-
tas del producto.
Prevenga incendios, detenga el motor cuando
vaya a reabastecer de gasolina, nunca sobre
pase la capacidad del tanque.
Siempre limpie cualquier derrame sobre el ge-
nerador con arena.
No utilice el generador en o cerca de atmósferas
explosivas.
Prevenga descargas eléctricas, no opere la má-
quina en la lluvia , nieve o lo toque directamen-
te con sus manos.
Revise periódicamente que no haya derrames
en el sistema de combustible. Los sellos y man-
gueras también deberán ser revisados para de-
tectar signos de deterioro. Compruebe que no
haya abrazaderas sueltas, flojas o dañadas. To-
dos los defectos encontrados deben ser corregi-
dos antes de su uso posterior.
Siempre permita que el generador alcance su
carga máxima de operación antes de conectar
cualquier aparato eléctrico.
Siempre desconecte cualquier aparato del gene-
rador antes de apagarlo.
Antes de transportar el generador y subirlo a
un vehículo, vacíe el tanque de combustible y
prevenga que se derrame.
Prevenga un incendio y descarga eléctrica, nun-
ca conecte una carga eléctrica con la salida eléc-
trica encendida.
No conecte el generador a ningún otra fuente
de poder.
Guarde el generador en un área bien ventilada
y con el tanque vacío.
GASOLINA
ADVERTENCIA: Coloque firmemente el ge-
nerador en el suelo al abastecer de combustible,
muévase al menos 3 metros del lugar donde
abasteció para encender el motor. Después de
abastecer asegúrese de apretar la tapa del tan-
que de combustible y limpie cualquier derrame.
IMPORTANTE: Permita que el motor se enfríe
antes de abrir el tanque de gasolina. Los vapo-
res son extremadamente inflamables y pueden
prenderse al entrar en contacto con superficies
calientes o flamas.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
COLOCACIÓN Y ATERRIZADO A TIERRA
Antes de utilizar el generador, debe de prepa-
rarlo correctamente. Coloque el generador so-
bre una superficie nivelada y firme, no cerca de
edificios o estructuras, evite obstruir el paso del
escape.
ADVERTENCIA: Se recomienda que aterrice
esta unidad a tierra con un cable y pivote.
NOTA: El cable y el pivote no se proveen con la
unidad.
Esta la puede comprar en cualquier ferretería
y de igual manera puede hacerla usted mismo
(primero pida opinión a un electricista para que
lo guíe). Para hacer su pivote utilice un tubo de

cobre o barra de cobre de 12 mm de diámetro
con un mínimo de 200 mm de largo y con un
tornillo M6 en uno de los extremos. El cable usa-
do debe de tener al menos 1 metro de largo y
un mínimo de 1,0 mm2(que soporte una carga
mínima de 10 A).
El cable debe de unirse
al generador en el pun-
to de conexión a tierra
(Fig. 1) y el otro lado al
tornillo entre la barra
de cobre y M6 con aran-
dela (de manera similar
a como se encuentra en
el generador).
Cuando coloque el pivote en el suelo, el genera-
dor, por ningún motivo tiene que estar funcionan-
do. Se sugiere que el pivote sea incrustado en el
suelo por lo menos 10 cm para que se encuentre
firme, vierta un litro de agua al rededor para ase-
gurar una buena continuidad con la tierra.
ABASTECIENDO DE GASOLINA
Su motor esta diseñado para trabajar con una
mezcla de gasolina y aceite, se recomienda utili-
zar aceite para motores 2 tiempos sintético.
Si se utiliza aceite 2 tiempos sintético la mezcla
debe ser 50:1. Si utiliza aceite 2 tiempos mineral
la mezcla debe ser 25:1.
Ejemplo de mezcla:
· Para saber cuanto aceite hay que agregar a la
mezcla divida la cantidad de gasolina entre la
proporción de aceite requerido:
· Para hacer una mezcla de 4 litros de gasolina
solo falta dividir 4/50 (aceite sintético) dando
como resultado 0.08 litros (80 mililitros) si en
su lugar utiliza aceite mineral la formula seria
4/25= 0.16 litros (160 mililitros).
MEZCLA DE GASOLINA
La capacidad máxima del tanque es de 4 L. Para
realizar una mezcla correcta, utilice la tapa del
tanque de la gasolina como medidor y así colo-
car la cantidad correcta de aceite.
ADVERTENCIA: NO
mezcle el combustible en el
tanque del generador, utili-
ce un contenedor especial-
mente para la mezcla.
Coloque la gasolina en el
contenedor y agregue la
proporción correcta de acei-
te utilizando la tapa del tan-
que del generador, utilice la
tabla en la Fig. 2 como guía.
Cuando tenga la medida correcta agréguelo al
contenedor, tápelo y agítelo bien, asegurándo-
se que los dos elementos se hayan mezclado de
manera correcta.
LLENANDO EL TANQUE DE GASOLINA
Utilice un embudo para colocar la mezcla de ga-
solina y aceite en el tanque del generador, trate
de no derramar combustible o sobre pase la ca-
pacidad del tanque.
El combustible no debe
ser llenado sobre el tope
del filtro de gasolina
como se muestra en la
Fig.3.
ENCENDIENDO EL MOTOR
Antes de encender el
motor asegúrese que no
tenga ninguna clavija co-
nectada en los contactos
de CA.
Agite gentilmente me-
ciendo el generador de
atrás hacia adelante, re-
pitalo unas cuantas ve-
ces. Esto asegurará que
el aceite para motor de
2-tiempos no se haya
asentado. Gire la llave de
paso como se muestra en
la figura 4.
Coloque el ahogador en
la posición de “abierto“
como se muestra en la fi-
gura 5.
Presione el interruptor de
encendido en la posición
“ON“ (Fig. 6).
Sujete el generador fir-
memente con una mano
en la manija y con la
otra sujete el cordón del
arrancador (Fig.7), jale
lentamente hasta sentir
resistencia, esto indicará
que el arrancador esta
posicionado.
Cuando sienta una resis-
tencia jale el arrancador
enérgicamente hasta que
el motor encienda.
Cuando el motor haya
sido encendido regrese el
ahogador a la posición de
“apagado“ (Fig. 8).

DETENIENDO EL MOTOR
• Antes de detener el
motor, presione el inte-
rruptor de encendido en
la posición de “apagado”
(vea Fig.9).
• Antes de detener el mo-
tor asegúrese que todas
las clavijas hayan sido des-
conectadas de los contac-
tos de CA.
Cuando el motor de ge-
nerador se apague y an-
tes de almacenar, cierre la
llave de paso (Fig.10).
CONECTANDO APARATOS ELÉCTRICOS
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de conectar aparatos
eléctricos al generador, asegúrese que la carga
no exceda la carga indicada en la etiqueta de
datos del producto.
Asegúrese que el cable de
alimentación sea lo sufi-
ciente mente largo para
no tener tensión con el
generador.
Cuando el motor del ge-
nerador haya arrancado
y comenzado a trabajar, conecte en el contacto
de CA (Fig.11).
PROTECCIÓN DE SOBRECARGA
El generador cuenta con
una protección de sobre-
carga localizada en el pa-
nel de control (Fig.12).
Al momento que la car-
ga exceda la indicada en
la etiqueta de datos del
producto, la protección
de sobrecarga se activará y apagará la corriente.
Si la protección de sobrecarga se activa, verifi-
que la carga eléctrica, si es necesario reduzca la
carga. La protección de sobrecarga puede ser re-
iniciada presionando el botón de reinicio.
FUNCIÓN DE RECARGA DE BATERÍA DE CD
NOTA: Esta función solamente puede ser aplica-
da para baterías de 12 V.
Desconecte la batería del
carro, conecte los cables
de alimentación en los
polos correspondientes
de la salida CD (Fig.13) a
los polos correspondien-
tes de la batería:
Rojo = + Positivo, Negro = – Negativo).
Mida la carga para comprobar que el voltaje de
salida sea el adecuado.
NOTA: En caso de contar con un hidrómetro, ve-
rifique constantemente la densidad del líquido
de batería. NO sobrecargue la batería.
MANTENIMIENTO
BUJÍA
Después de cada 50 horas de
trabajo la bujía debe ser lim-
piada. Verifique el color del
depósito en la terminal de la
bujía, este deberá de tener
un color bronceado (Fig.14).
Quite los depósitos acumulados utilizando un
cepillo de alambre de cobre. Revise la abertura
de la bujía, esta debe de ser de 0,7 a 0,8 mm.
FILTRO DE AIRE
Después de cada 50 horas de uso, el filtro de aire
debe de ser limpiado, verifique que no tenga un
desgaste visible.
Para limpiar el filtro uti-
lice un líquido desengra-
sante a base de agua.
Cuando el filtro de aire
seque completamente co-
loque una cantidad abun-
dante de aceite de motor
ordinario, asegúrese de empaparlo y cubrir todo
el filtro. Exprima el exceso de aceite del filtro y
colóquelo de nuevo (Fig.15).
FILTRO DEL TANQUE DE
COMBUSTIBLE
Retire la tapa del tanque
de gasolina y después el
filtro (Fig.16) limpielo con
líquido desengrasante a
base de agua y colóquelo
nuevamente.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Si el generador ya no se usará o será almacena-
do por más de un mes siga estas indicaciones de
almacenamiento;
· Vacíe por completo el tanque del combustible
y el carburador, asegúrese que todo el combus-
tible haya sido removido. Quite la bujía y vierta
un aproximado de una cucharada de aceite de
motor limpio en la abertura de la bujía. Con el
interruptor apagado, con poca fuerza jale va-
rias veces el cordón del arrancador, coloque la
bujía nuevamente, jale de nuevo el arrancador
hasta que sienta una resistencia y deje de jalar.
Almacene el generador en un lugar bien venti-
lado y cúbralo para que no se le acumule polvo
o residuos.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Your GASOLINE GENERATOR has many features
that will make your job faster and easier. Safety,
performance and reliability have been given top
priority in the design of this tool, qualities to
make easy to maintain and to operate.
WARNING: Read and understand all instruc-
tions. Failure to follow all indications listed be-
low, may result in electric shock, fire and/or seri-
ous personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
SAFETY IN WORKING AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered benches and dark areas may cause acci-
dents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmo-
spheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Some power tools create
sparks which may provoke fire.
Keep away observers, children and visitors
while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
ELECTRIC SAFETY
Double insulation eliminates the need for the
three wire grounded power cord and grounded
power supply system.
Avoid the body contact with grounded surfaces
such as pipes, radiators and refrigerators. There
is an increased risk of electric shock if your body
is grounded.
Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet condi-
tions. The presence of water into power tools
will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse of the power cord. Never use the
power cord to carry the tool and do not pull
the plug off the outlet. Keep the cable away of
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace
damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords in-
crease the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outside, use an
outdoor extension cord marked “W-A” or “W”.
These cords are rated for outdoor use and re-
duce the risk of electric shock.
EXTENSION CORDS
Replace damaged cords immediately. The use
of damaged cords can shock, burn or electric
shock. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord
with adequate size conductors should be used
to prevent excessive voltage drop, loss of power
or overheating. The table below shows the cor-
rect size to use, depending on cord length and
nameplate amperage rating of tools. In case of
doubt use the next heavier gauge. Always use
UL listed extension cords.
SIZE RECOMMEND EXTENSION CABLES
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool.
Don’t use the tool if you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating power
tools may cause a serious personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, cloth-
ing and gloves away of moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
Avoid an accidental starting. Be sure that the
switch is OFF before plugging in. Carrying tools
with the finger on the switch or plug in the tool
switch in ON may cause accidents.
Remove the adjusting keys or wrenches before
turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is
left close to a rotating part of the tool may pro-
voke a personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and bal-
ance at all times. Proper footing and balance
enables better control of the tools on unexpect-
ed situations.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protec-
tion. Dust mask, nonskid safety shoes, hard hat,
or hearing protection must be used for appro-
priate conditions.
Before connecting the tool to a power source
(receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the voltage
supplied is the same as that one specified on
the nameplate of the tool. To use a not specified
voltage may cause a serious injury to the user as
well as damage the tool.

for use by persons (including children) with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
may be different or reduced, or lack of experi-
ence or knowledge, unless such persons are su-
pervised or trained to operate the product by

TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will do
the job better and more safely at the rate that it
was designed to work at.
Do not use tools if switch does not turn it on or
off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source be-
fore making any adjustments, changing acces-
sories or storing the tool. This preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of accidental starting
of the tool.
When the power tool is not in use, store it out
of the reach of children, and do not allow in-
dividuals who are not familiar with the power
tool or these instructions to operate it. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands on untrained
users.
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the power tool. If it is damaged,
have it repaired before using. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Check for misalignment or bonding of moving
parts, breakage parts, and any other condition
that may affect the tools operation. If you find
a damaged tool, take it to service before use it.
Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer of your model. Suitable ac-
cessories for one tool, may become hazardous
when are used on another tool.
Keep cutting tools, sharpened and clean. Cut-
ting tools in good condition with sharpened
edges, are less likely to stuck in work pieces or
easier to control.
Is recommendable to use a safety device suit-
able, such a thermal and differential switch
when you are using an electric equipment.
SERVICE: Tool service must be performed only
by qualified repair personnel. Service or main-
tenance performed by unqualified personnel
could result in a risk of injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
ANGLE GRINDERS
Do not use this generator in unventilated or
interior areas. The gases emitted by the exhaust
are highly dangerous, the concentrated carbon
monoxide can cause dizziness or even death.
This generator must be positioned firmly on the
ground.
The electrical output must not exceed the
maximum capacity specified on the data label.
Exceeding the load capacity could damage the
unit and shorten its life of use, this would invali-
date the warranty.
Everything that requires connecting to the gen-
erator must be in optimal conditions.
Keep the area around the generator clean and
clear. Never place the generator against a build-
ing, near plastic structures, tents, etc.
Always use the correct mixture of gasoline and
oil indicated in this manual or on the product
labels.
Prevent fires, stop the engine when refueling,
never overpass the capacity of the tank.
Always clean any spill on the generator with
sand.
Do not use the generator in or near explosive
atmospheres.
Prevent electric shocks, do not operate the ma-
chine in the rain, snow or touch it directly with
your hands.
Periodically check for spills in the fuel system.
Seals and hoses should also be checked for signs
of deterioration. Check for loose or damaged
clamps. All defects found must be corrected
before further use.
Always allow the generator to reach its maxi-
mum operating load before connecting any
electrical appliance.
Always unplug any appliance from the genera-
tor before shutting it down.
Before transporting the generator and loading
it into a vehicle, empty the fuel tank and pre-
vent it from spilling.
Prevent a fire and electric shock, never connect
an electrical charge with the electrical outlet
turned on.
Do not connect the generator to any other
power source.
Store the generator in a well-ventilated area
with an empty tank.
GASOLINE
WARNING: Place the generator firmly on the
ground when refueling, move at least 3 meters
from the place where it was supplied to start the
engine. After refueling be sure to tighten the
fuel tank cap and clean up any spills.
IMPORTANT: Allow the engine to cool be-
fore opening the gas tank. Vapors are extremely
flammable and can ignite when in contact with
hot surfaces or flames.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
LOCATION & GROUNDING
Before using this generator it must be prepared
correctly before use. Locate the generator on
firm level ground away from buildings or other
structures ensuring that the exhaust is not ob-
structed.
WARNING: It is advisable to properly earth-
ground your generator before starting using a
wire and a small earth stake.
NOTE: The wire and earth stake are not supplied
with the unit.
Earth spike and cable can be purchased at your
local camping supplies, or alternatively an earth
spike can be made, and it is suggested you get
advice from a registered electrical trades per-
son. To make a spike use a copper tube or cop-
per rod 12 mm diameter, a minimum length
of 200 mm and with an M6 machine screw at
one end. The cable used should be a maximum
length of 1 meter and a minimum of 1,0 mm2to
carry a 10 A load.
The cable should be at-
tached to the generator
at the earth point (Fig.1)
and to the spike between
a flat washer and the cop-
per with a lock washer
under the head of the M6
machine screw in a similar
fashion to the earth point
screw on the generator.
When placing the Spike into the ground the gen-
erator must not be running and it is suggested
that the spike is pushed into the ground by at
least 100 mm so that it is firm and a liter of water
poured around it to ensure good earth continuity.
FUELING
This engine is designed to work with a mixture
of gasoline and oil, is recommended to use syn-
thetic 2-cycle engine oil.
If you use synthetic 2-stroke oil the mixture must
be 50: 1. If you use mineral oil 2-stroke the mix-
ture must be 25: 1.
EXAMPLE:
· To know the oil that you have to add to the
mixture, divide the amount of gasoline in the
proportion of oil required:
· To make a mixture of 4 liters of gasoline just
need to divide 4/50 (synthetic oil) resulting in
0.08 liters (80 milliliters) if instead used mineral
oil the formula would be 4/25 = 0.16 liters (160
milliliters)
FUEL MIXING
The fuel tank has a maximum capacity of 4L. To
mix the fuel correctly use the filler cap gauge
to measure the correct amount of oil to petrol.
WARNING: Do not mix
the fuel in the generator fuel
tank use a suitable container.
Measure the fuel into the
container then add the cor-
rect proportion of two stroke
oil according to the chart
shown in figure 2. When the
correct ratio has been mixed

replace the container cap and agitate the con-
tainer to ensure thorough mixing of the petrol
and oil.
FILING THE FUEL TANK
Use a suitable funnel to transfer the fuel mix
from the container to the generator fuel tank,
taking care not to spill any fuel or over fill the
fuel tank.
The fuel tank should not
be filled above the top of
the fuel filter as shown in
Fig.3
STARTING THE GENERATOR ENGINE
Before starting the engine make sure that all
the electrical loads are disconnected from the
generator AC outlet socket.
Gently agitate the fuel
mix by gently rocking the
generator backwards and
forwards a few times. This
will ensure that the two-
stroke oil has not settled
out from the petrol.
Turn the fuel cock lever
to the ON position (See
Fig.4). Set the choke lever
to the ON position (see
Fig.5).
Turn the engine ON/OFF
switch to the ON position
(See Fig.6).
Hold down the generator
firmly with one hand on
the carrying handle. With
the other hand grip the
recoil starter cord handle
and pull slowly until re-
sistance is felt indicating
that the recoil starter is
engaged. When resis-
tance is felt pull the cord
sharply (See Fig.7).
Continue this procedure
until the engine starts.
When the engine has
been successfully started
and is running smoothly
return the choke lever
to the OFF position (See
Fig.8).
STOPPING THE GENERA-
TOR ENGINE
• Before stopping the
engine, switch off all the
electrical loads and turn
the generator ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position
(See Fig.9).
• Before stopping the engine make sure that all
the electrical loads are disconnected from the
generator AC outlet socket.
When the generator en-
gine has stopped and
before storage, turn the
fuel cock lever to the OFF
position as shown in fig-
ure 10.
CONNECTING THE ELECTRICAL LOAD
WARNING: Before connecting any electrical
load to the generator ensure that the load does
not exceed the maximum load as stated on the
rating plate.
Ensure that the mains supply lead is long enough
to reach the generator without any strain.
When the generator en-
gine has been success-
fully started and is run-
ning smoothly connect
the electrical load into
the generator AC output
socket (See Fig.11).
OVER LOAD PROTECTION
The generator is fitted
with an overload protec-
tion device located on the
control panel (Fig.12).
In the event that the load
exceeds that stated on the
rating plate, the overload
protection will operate
and disconnect the load.
If the overload protection device is tripped.
Check the electrical load and if necessary reduce
the load. The overload protection device can be
re-set by pressing in the re-set button.
DC BATTERY CHARGING FUNCTION
NOTE: This function is ap-
plicable to 12 V battery
charging only.
Disconnect the leads
from the battery. Loosen
the vents on the battery.
Make sure the battery
fluid level is correct.

Attach the 12 V charging leads to the battery
observing correct polarity (Red = + Positive) (black
= - Negative).
Plug the 12 V charger lead into the socket on
the generator (Fig. 13).
NOTE: With and hydrometer check constantly
the battery liquid density. Do NOT overload.
MAINTENANCE
SPARK PLUG
After every 50 hours of
running the spark plug
should be removed.
Check the color of the
deposits on the end of
the spark plug (Fig. 14), it
should be a “Tan” color.
Remove all deposits using a stiff brush a brass
wire brush is ideal. Check the spark plug gap
and adjust if required. The correct gap should
be 0. 7 to 0. 8mm.
AIR FILTER
After every 50 hours of running the air filter
should be removed, examined for deteriora-
tion and cleaned. Clean the air filter thoroughly
using an environmentally friendly water based
degreasing agent.
When the air filter has
dried out apply sufficient
ordinary engine oil, to
coat the whole of the fil-
ter. Squeeze out any ex-
cess oil and replace the air
filter (Fig.15).
FUEL TANK FILTER
Remove the fuel tank
filler cap and the filter
(Fig.16), clean the filter
thoroughly using an en-
vironmentally friendly
water based degreasing
agent and re-fit.
STORAGE
If the generator is not to be used or is to be
stored for more than one month the following
storage procedure should be carried out. Drain
all the fuel from the fuel tank and the carburet-
tor, ensure that all the fuel has been removed.
Remove the spark plug and pour approximately
one tablespoon full of clean engine oil into the
spark plug hole. With the ignition turned OFF

gently pull on the recoil starter cord several
times. Refit the spark plug and continue to pull
the recoil starter cord until the piston is on the
compression stroke (when resistance is felt),
then stop pulling.
Store the generator in a dry well ventilated
place under a cover to prevent any dust or de-
bris from accumulating on the generator.
