GETTING STARTED
The ZEN thermostat™can only be connected to low voltage systems.
Ensure that you complete the following steps before you begin installation.
1. Turn o main breaker 3. Check2. Remove cover from old unit
Is your system labeled
120V-240V? Do you see thick
wires with wire-nuts? If you do
your system is NOT compatible
with the ZEN thermostat™.
If you’re unsure, please contact
your home automation provider
or HVAC installer.
4. Begin installation
If you are certain that your
system is low voltage, begin
the installation process by
following the online guide:
zen.swannone.com/install
You will need an
internet web browser to
complete installation.
It takes approximately 45
minutes to get your ZEN
thermostat™ready to use.
Caring for your ZEN thermostat™
Clean with a damp cloth only. Avoid using chemical cleaning agents.
Rebooting or Resetting to Factory Defaults
If you are experiencing issues, reboot your display by removing and reinserting the batteries.
This will retain your configuration settings. To restore to factory settings, press the Config button
on the back of the main display 20 times, the display will beep five times to confirm the reset.
