WARRANTY
The product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period
of 36 months from the date of sale. This warranty covers defective parts and workmanship provided that the product is
shipped pre-paid to the seller within 36 months of purchase of goods. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement
(at the manufacturer’s discretion) of parts and shipping prepaid to the original dispatch destination. We regret that no
liability can be accepted for consequential or special damages of any kind howsoever arising in connection with products
supplied by the seller. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. No representative is authorised
to assume for the seller any other liability in connection with the seller’s products.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
When operating the Swarts Tools Wet & Dry Shop Vacuum Cleaner it is important to follow these instructions and warn-
ings at all times, including using your common sense.
1. This vacuum cleaner is to be used by adults only. If you are unsure of how to operate this cleaner, ensure you seek
guidance from a person with more experience.
2. Children should be supervised at all times when around this product.
3. To prevent electrical shock do not let water or liquids come in contact with any of the electrical components, power
cords or plugs on this product.
4. Do not use this product in the rain or other adverse weather conditions.
5. Check the power cord, plug and switch before each use. If they are damaged in any way, the product must be
marked and returned to Swarts Tools for repair. Do not ever attempt repairs on this product yourself as it is dangerous
and you will be voiding your warranty.
6. When unplugging the power cord, never pull it out via the cord. Always pull out while holding the plug, after turning the
power point switch o at the wall.
7. Only carry the product using the supplied black carry handle. Never carry it by the power cord or any other part of the
vacuum cleaner.
8. Never touch the power cord, power point or switch if you have wet hands.
9. If, at any time you sense there could be a fault with the product, turn it o at the power point, mark it as faulty and
contact Swarts Tools.
10. Never attempt to change the attachments when the product is turned on. Switch it o at the power point, then
change.
11. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
12. Do not use this product to handle ammable items, combustible liquids, explosive materials or hot items, such as hot
ashes, cigarette butts, petrol etc.
13. Do not use this product to pick up toxic items such as bleach.
14. Never use this product to pick up sharp objects, as this may damage the product or cause injury to the user.
15. Should something become jammed, turn the vacuum o at the power point and carefully remove the blockage.
Inspect the product for damage prior to using it again.
16. Do not use this product to collect ne powders and dust, such as concrete dust or our unless you have installed the
grey ne dust lter bag privided. It should be tted on the inside of the barrel over the hose intake.
17. Ensure when you are using the Vacuum for liquids, that you remove the grey ne dust lter and that the black HEPA
lter cover attached to the HEPA lter is facing the way of the hose intake.
17. Always switch o the vacuum cleaner when unattended.
18. Do not block any of the air in-take or out-take holes during operation.

INSTRUCTIONS
TO USE AS A STANDARD VACUUM CLEANER
1. Insert the end of the exible grey hose into the front portal of the vacuum cleaner until the two rings touch together.
2. Twist clock-wise until the hose is locked in place.
3. Plug in the vacuum cleaner
4. Turn on via the switch on the top of the vacuum.
EMPTYING THE VACUUM CLEANER
After each application, the drum will need to be emptied.
1. Turn the product o at the power point.
2. Release the two plastic clips situated on either side the drum by pushing them in an outward direction.
3. Lift motor section of the vacuum cleaner out
4. Clear all debris out of the drum
5. Wipe down with a damp cloth (if required)
6. Reassemble vacuum cleaner
It is important when you reassemble the vaccum cleaner, that the black guard covering one side of the HEPA Filter is
FACING the air intake. Please note, the vacuum will only reassemble this way.
TELESCOPIC ARM ADJUSTMENT
Depending on your height and reach, you may want to adjust the telescoping arm to suit your application.
1. Turn the product o at the power point.
2. Push the black release switch down toward the extension piece.
3. Adjust to your desired length and release the switch. The extension piece will click into place.
REDUCTION OF SUCTION
You may wish to reduce the level of suction. To do so:
1. Slide the covering backwards on the black vented section at the end of the exible hose, revealing the vents.
2. To increase suction again, simply slide the covering forward over the vents.

USE OF FLOOR CLEANING ATTACHMENTS
These attachments can be used on linoleum, tiles, timber, concrete or carpeted oors. Dierent surfaces may or may not
require these attachments. For example, carpeted surfaces may require the brush attachment and smooth surfaces may
require the at attachment.
1. To switch between the two head attachments, use your thumbs to simutaneously press inwards and downwards on
the tabs situated on the vacuum head. This will release the tting.
2. Replace with the desired tting by clicking it into place.
TO UTILIZE THE BLOWER FUNCTION
You may wish to utilize the product as a blower. Prior to utilizing the blower function, you must ensure the drum is
EMPTY and CLEAN.
1. Turn the product o at the power point.
2. Remove the valve cap by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. Remove the exible hose from the front portal of the vacuum cleaner by twisting it anti-clockwise
3. Insert the hose into the portal located at the top of the product by twisting it clockwise
4. Turn the product on at the power point and via the switch located on the top of the product.
USING THE VACUUM AS A WET VAC
It is important to only use this vaccum cleaner to remove SMALL amounts of liqiud such as shampoo or spilt water. THIS
PRODUCT IS NOT TO BE USED AS A PUMP, CLEANING OR TRANSPORTING LARGE AMOUNTS OF LIQUID.
1. Remove the grey ne dust lter bag from the inside of the drum by detaching it from the air intake valve.
2. Do not allow the vacuum to ll up with uid. It should be emptied when it reaches approximately 25% of capacity,
using the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
3. Allow the drum to dry thoroughly before next use.

CLEANING THE HEPA FILTER
Periodically, you will need to clean the HEPA lter as it may become clogged with dust and debris.
1. Turn the product o at the power point.
2. Release the two plastic clips situated on either side the drum by pushing them in an outward direction.
3. Lift motor section of the vacuum cleaner out and sit it upside down.
4. Turn the white locking knob on the bottom of the HEPA lter counter-clockwise until it clicks and comes undone.
5. Pull o the HEPA lter.
6. Clean the HEPA lter using compressed air by placing the nozzle inside the lter and blowing outwards through the
lter until it is free of debris.
7. Re-install the HEPA lter by placing back over the lter mount. Once it is sitting in place, turn it clockwise while
applying downwards pressure until it aligns with the locating pins and becomes ush with the black mounting plate.
8. Re-install the white locking knob by turning it clockwise until tight.
We highly recommend using compressed air because when cleaned with water, it needs to be dried in a warm, dry
place for 14 days prior to re-use.
