Sphere Setup
Instructions
Installing the UV Bulb
Carefully open shipping box and
place foam cover on tabletop.
UV bulb is located in the cardboard
tube (shown on the right).
Carefully remove UV bulb from the
cardboard tube.
Position Sphere face-down on foam
insert on a tabletop.
Select L-shaped TORX tool to
remove safety screws.
Remove top safety screw.
Locate power cord and UV-A Bulb
tube underneath cardboard tray
insert.
Remove bottom safety screw.
Remove Sphere from shipping box.
Installing the UV Bulb cont.
Match wide UV-A bulb pins to
wide pattern in the bulb socket.
With wide pins on the le, insert
UV-A bulb into bulb socket.
Gently press bottom of bulb to
ensure it is fully inserted.
Replace bulb cover.
Tighten UV bulb cover safety screw. Tighten top safety screw.
Remove bulb cover.
Tighten bottom safety screw.
Remove UV bulb cover safety screw.
Remove top safety screw with the
L-shaped TORX tool.
Remove bottom safety screw with
the L-shaped TORX tool.
Grab recess and pull top and bottom
of cover to disengage magnets.
Remove front cover. Locate slot for Sail. Holding tabs, insert Sail into
slot.
Position top pin over slot. Let magnet
re-engage. Fasten safety screws.
Sphere Sail Installation
To re-install front cover, position
bottom pin over slot. Let magnet
re-engage.
Replacing the Filters
On front cover, turn the white tabs
90 degrees.
First, remove the carbon lter. en, remove old MERV 11 lter.
Insert new MERV 11 lter with
airow arrow pointing toward you. Replace carbon lter on top of the
MERV 11 lter.
Rotate white tabs 90 degrees to
secure both lters into place.
Check compartment for loose
debris.
You will see two lters here.
Follow maintenance schedule
shown here.
14 Days: Replace Sail &
MERV lter
3 Months: Replace Sail &
MERV lter
6 Months: Replace Sail,
MERV & Carbon lters
Mounting Sphere to Wall
Locate wall mount bracket. Use a level to properly align bracket
to mounting location.
Mark drill holes on wall using the
bracket as a guide.
Use appropriate-sized screws to
secure wall mount bracket to the
wall.
Position Sphere to mounting bracket,
aligning mounting screws with the
outer holes on the bracket.
Slide Sphere down onto wall mount
bracket.
Top of Sphere should be mounted to
the wall at a minimum of 36”below
the ceiling.

Locate rubber grommet for security
screw access.
Ensure mounting screws stick out far
enough from the Sphere to t into the
slots of the mounting bracket.
Make sure device is securely hung
on the wall.
Remove rubber grommet. Select green T-handle screwdriver. Tighten security screw.
Make sure security screw is tight-
ened all the way.
Re-insert rubber grommet into
security screw hole.
To re-install front cover, position top
and bottom pins over slots. Let magnets
re-engage.
Rubber grommet is now in place.
Push front cover back into place.
Mounting Sphere to Wall cont.
Installing the Stand
Align legs of metal stand to the two
recessed holes on bottom of Sphere
with horizontal piece closest to you.
Squeeze ends slightly together to t
second leg into recessed hole on the
right side.
Insert rst leg into le recessed hole. Insert and tighten screw to secure
le leg.
Insert and tighten screw to secure
right leg.
Remove le and right screws from
metal stand.
Stand ships with screws pre-in-
stalled.
Ensure that the power supply cord
is fully inserted.
Connect power cord to the Sphere
device.
Powering Up the Sphere
To adjust the device airow, use the
3-speed fan speed control switch.
Locate power cord.
Green indicator will illuminate
when the power is on.
Turn on power switch.
