Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the new Portable speaker
Micro Beat SY-XTR16BT. Please read this manual carefully before
operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which are
mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference
SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall
outlets, extension cords, or Integral convenience receptacles.
Use suitable power sources - Plug the product into a suitable
power source, as described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the product.
The supply voltage should be the same as that indicated in the
technical specifications and the appliance rating plate. If the
socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied
with this unit check with a qualified electrician for replacement.
In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains completely,
switch off the outlet and remove the mains plug completely.
Do not bend, stretch or pull the supply cable in order to avoid
electric shock.
Moisture and water
• Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture.
• Do not use this product near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, wet basement, near a swimming pool or
anywhere else that water or moisture is present.
Heat sources and flames
• Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sun
or fire.
• To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall
outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles.

Servicing and repairs
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
• Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged
in any ways: such as liquid has been spilled or objects have
fallen into the apparatus; The apparatus has been exposed
to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped. In case of any failure with the apparatus, contact
Sytech technical service center for a proper repair and
solution.
Warning
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong Electro-
Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal
operation by following the instruction manual. In case the function could
not resume, please use the product in other location.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or operate
the appliance.
2) Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings. Follow
all instructions.
3) Save this Instruction Manual for future reference.
4) The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
product. Use dry locations only.
5) No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the
product.
6) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
7) Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings.
8) Ensure that the unit is plugged into 5V.1A AC adaptor. Using higher
voltage may cause the unit to malfunction or even fire catching. Turn
off the unit before unplugging it from power source to completely switch
it off.
9) Do not plug/ unplug the power plug into/from an electrical outlet with
wet hands.
10) Use replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer.
11) Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
12) Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the speaker on a
flat, hard and stable surface. Do not expose to temperatures above
40°C. Allow at least 30 cm clearance from the rear and the top of the

unit as well as 5 cm from each side.
13) Press the buttons of the unit gently. Pressing them too hard can
damage the unit.
14) Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet
before moving or cleaning. Clean it with dry cloth only.
15) Unplug the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be used
for long periods of time.
16) This product has no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair this
product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform the
service. Contact Sytech technical service for a proper inspection and
repair
17) NEVER let anyone, especially children, insert anything into the holes,
slots or any other openings in the unit’s casing as this could result in a
fatal electric shock.
18) Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that
generate strong magnetic fields.
NOTE: To disconnect the system completely if it’s not to be used for a
long time, remove the AC adaptor plug from the wall outlet.
CONTROL PANEL & FUNCTIONS

6. MP3 (Previous track) – FM (Previous FM station) –
Press and Hold to decrease the volume level

7. MP3 (Play / Pause) – FM (Automatic search).
Short press the “Play/Pause” button twice to connect the TWS
mode.
Long press the “Play/Pause” button to disconnect the phone.
8. MP3 (Next track) – FM (Next FM station)
Press and hold to increase the volume level.
9. Mode button (MP3, FM, Bluetooth) – LED.
Short press the “M” button to switch the LED light effects.
Long press the “M” button to switch between the different
functions.
Charging your speaker:
1. Connect the Micro USB cable into the Micro USB speaker port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB port to an external AC adaptor
making sure the voltage does not exceed 5V-1Ah.
3. The red LED pilot light will go on indicating that the battery is
charging.
4. Once the charging process is over, the red LED pilot light will go off.
Input modes:
Follow the below instructions to switch between Bluetooth, FM radio, and
USB input modes.
1. Press the “M” button on the main unit repeatedly to cycle between
Bluetooth, FM radio, and USB input modes.
Bluetooth connection:
To connect a smartphone or any other device to your speaker via
Bluetooth, follow the below steps:
1. Press the “M” button on the unit until you hear “Bluetooth”.
2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone, tablet or any other
Bluetooth device which you wish to connect to your speaker and
search for “SY-XTR16BT”. Once found, select it to pair your external
device to the speaker.
3. In the case you are asked to enter a code, please enter “0000”.

4. Once the speaker is connected to your external Bluetooth device, a
sound will be heard confirming the pairing of the two devices.
5. Each time you switch the Speaker on and select the Bluetooth mode,
the device will automatically pair and connect to the last device,
unless the device has been un-paired on your external Bluetooth
device.
6. Once the devices are paired up, press the Play/Pause button to start
playback.
7. When receiving a call during Bluetooth playback, the audio will
automatically stop playing. Once you hang up the call, the music will
restore.
8. The volume output is affected by the volume level from the external
audio source: For example, if you have paired your smartphone, you
will need to adjust the volume level from your smartphone to avoid
distortion.
To unpair the device from a Bluetooth connection with your speaker,
you need to disconnect and forget the device from your external
device.
USB function:
1. Press the “M” button on the unit until you hear “USB” or simply insert
your USB pen drive into the USB port.
2. The first track will automatically start to play. Press the Play/ pause
button to pause the track at any time.
3. Press the “Next” button to advance to the next track.
4. Press the “Previous” button to go back to the previous track.
FM Radio function:
1. Press the “M” button on the unit until you hear “FM”
2. Press the Play / Pause button to start the automatic scan.
3. Once the scan function has finalized, press the “Next” or “Previous”
buttons to switch from one preset to the another.
Note: The position of the speaker is important for a good FM reception. If
you are unable to find a desired radio station, move the party speaker to a
different location and try to scan again.

TWS function:
1. To enjoy True Wireless audio sound “TWS”, you will need two
identical units of SY-XTR16BT.
2. Connect one of the speakers to your external device via Bluetooth as
indicated in the above section under “Bluetooth connection”.
3. Once your speaker is paired to your external device, switch on the
second speaker and enter the Bluetooth mode.
4. Click twice on the “Play/Pause” (7) button on the second speaker until
a “BEEP” sound is heard. Now your two speakers are connected to
your external device.
5. Enjoy your track in a pure True wireless mode.
Mic Function:
1. Connect the external wired microphone to the jack input connector of
6.3mm.
(Wired microphone is included)
