manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which are mentioned
below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference. We are sure that the new Vacuum Cleaner will
satisfy your needs!
Safety Measures
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS VACUUM CLEANER.
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Safety advice and warnings
•Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future
use. Failure to follow and observe these instructions may result in an accident.
•This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Commercial and industrial use may cause
damages and will void warranty.
•Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
•Any use not respecting the usual precautions of the device removes any responsibility to the
retailer, importer, or the manufacturer.
•Before plugging in, check that the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to the rated voltage,
described on the rating plate of the appliance.
•The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use
plug adaptors.
•Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture. If water gets into the
appliance, this will increase the risk of electric shock.
•If any of the enclosure of the appliance breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from
the mains to avoid the possibility of an electric shock.
•Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it
has any leakage.
•Do not force the electric wire. Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the
appliance.
•Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled cables will increase the risk of
electric shock.
•Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
•Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly fitted.
•Do not use the appliance to vacuum up water or any other type of liquid.
•Do not use the appliance if the On/Off switch does not work.
•Do not force the appliance’s work capacity.
•Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before cleaning, making any
adjustment or any change in accessory.
•Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm
persons.
•Do not use this device to suck up incandescent or sharp objects (cigarette ends of cigarettes,
lit (switched on) matches, hot ashes, nails).
•Do not use this vacuum cleaner to suck up pins, threads, cement, plaster, or quite different
material of construction or decoration.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
•Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
•Make sure to never block the zones of air inlets.
•Keep the appliance away from extreme temperatures or any other heat sources.
•Do not use external timers or external accessories to connect or use the appliance.

Assembling the Cleansmart 440
Always unplug the appliance before mounting the parts.
Attaching the crevice nozzle:
•The crevice nozzle is used to clean tight sports such as corners, ceilings, vents, between sofa cushions,
window frames.
•Attach the crevice nozzle by pushing it into the suction opening as shown below:
Attaching the extension tube:
•Attach the main body to the extension tube on one side and the floor brush on the other side of the tube.
•The extension tube has a wider diameter size which connects to the main body and a smaller diameter size
which connects to the floor brush.

Instructions for use
•Before using the appliance, make sure the filter is correctly installed.
•Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off.
•Connect the desired attachment.
•Connect the power plug into the power outlet.
•Press the on button to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
•Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.
•Always check the dust container level while using the vacuum cleaner. Once it reaches the maximum level,
it needs to be emptied.
•After use, turn off the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet.
Note:
Press the button on the floor brush to select cleaning hard floor or carpet.

1. Never pull the cable to disconnect the unit. Always disconnect from the plug.
2. Do not step on the power cable as this can damage the unit, especially when it is operating.

. Do not absorb burning cigarettes as this can damage the tube and motor.
4. Do not absorb liquids.

Assembling the wall mount
The appliance includes a wall mount which must be fixed to the wall. Fix the wall mount bracket appropriately,
using plugs, screws, and adhesive.
Make sure the wall mount bracket is firmly fixed and able to support twice the weight of the appliance.

Cleaning the dust container
•The dust container is totally visible and therefore when it reaches the first line of the plastic filter holes, it needs
to be cleaned.
•Press the dust container release button to open the dust container and empty it. (1)

•Release the plastic filter by slightly turning it and then release the Hepa filter as well. (2)-(3)
•Shake the 2 filters to clean the dust or wash them in the case there is too much dust accumulated.
Filter Maintenance
Pre-filter & Hepa filter:
•The vacuum cleaner contains 2 filters located inside the dust container. A plastic pre-filter and a Hepa filter.
•The two filters separate the dirt particles from very fine dust, using centrifugal forces to larger dust elements
such as hair, crumbs, and other bigger particles.
•The Hepa filter can trap large number of very small particles and minimize dust, dander, pollen, and other
common allergens in home.
•The pre-filter as well as the Hepa filter need to be in a good condition before using the appliance. It might be
necessary to clean the filters or wash them before using the appliance.
•It is recommended to replace the Hepa filter every 8 to 12 months. However, you may need to change the
Hepa filter sooner or later depending on how often you use the appliance.
•It is important to watch out for the following signs of expired filter.
- Increased operation noise.
- Decrease airflow
- Clogged filter
Wind outlet filter:
The wind outlet filter is located at the back of the motor. It is recommendable to clean to wind outlet filter every
week and change it every 2 years. To remove the filter, see below diagram:

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Before cleaning the appliance, always unplug the switch from the wall outlet and let it cool down
completely.
2. Do not use any metallic object or any abrasive liquid to clean the appliance.
3. Only the dust container and dust filter can be washed in cold water.
4. Make sure to dry all the parts before reassembly.
5. Never use a hair dryer for drying the parts.
6. Never immerse the unit in water or any of its components.
Environment
This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed with normal household waste
(20 2/ 9/EU).
Follow your country’s rule for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Correct
disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
