Start
Power On and Image Settings
• Short press the ON/OFF (3) button to power on.
• Rotate the eyepiece adjustment ring (8) to get a clear image of the icons on the display.
• Rotate the lens focusing ring (2) to get a clear image of the observed object.
• Short press the (5) button to select the operating palettes (White Hot, Target Highlight, Edge, Red
Hot, Iron Red Pseudo-Color Modes).
• Short press the (7) button to select the digital magnification (1x, 2X, 4X, 6X, 8X).
• Short press the (7) button to enter the menu to select the appropriate parameter.
• Long press the ON/OFF (3) button，within 3 seconds the screen off, for 3 seconds to power off. The
indicator light of buttons will be off after power off.

YS button detailed navigation
Power button
Short press to power on. Long press for 3 seconds to power off. When powered on,
press and hold the power button for 1-3 seconds,When the sleep icon appears on the
screen, it is regarded as standby mode,and a short press under the standby mode can
activate the device
*Short press to switch the shutter, it takes 5 seconds when the shutter is automatically switched
Take pictures and videos
Short press to take pictures (press it when the camera function is not turned onRe-
minding: Please turn on the camera and video function first)
Long press the button to record the video (when the camera function is not turned on,
Reminding: Please turn on the camera and video function first)
Navigation buttons up
Short press to select up, when there is no menu, it is to switch the display mode
Navigation button down
Short press to select down, when there is no menu, it is to switch magnification1X,2X,
4X,6X,8X.
Long press to turn distance measuring on or off
M button menu
Short press out menu，press the up and down keys to move the menu options, short
press MENU to enter the secondary menu,when pressed OK for the option, The tick
icon should be moved to the selected option, stay for 1 second and return to the
previous level;
Long press to turn on/off the laser red dot (the target frame needs to be displayed in
the center of the screen when the red dot is turned on, This target frame shares the icon
with the distance measuring frame), long press under menu mode to return to the
previous menu

Menu function
YS menu detailed functions
1.Colour Palettes selection
White Hot
Colour Palettes provide 6 options(White Hot,Target Highlight,Edge,Black Hot,Red Hot, Fusion),default as White hot
2.Camera/Video output
Turn on the function of video recording, taking pictures, WIFI, and external screen output
3.WIFI connection
1、Select "On" or "Off" on the submenu, turn on the WIFI in the menu, then open the WIFI of the mobile phone and
the APP in the SYTONG test software, and find the MAC address name of the WIFI of the mobile phone Sytong-Ther-
mal and password Confirm 12345678, enter the password to see if the connection is normal (WiFi is off by default)
2. After the device is connected to the mobile phone through WiFi, the video can be viewed. The video images need
to be synchronized and photos can be taken normally during the recording process. The mobile APP can control the
on and off of the machine's video during the recording process. However, the machine cannot control the mobile
APP.

4.Hotspot Tracking
Click the M button to enter the hotspot tracking in the main menu, which can be turned on or off. After the hotspot
tracking is turned on, there is a tracking point to follow the object during the shooting process.
5.Screen Brightness
Select "Screen Brightness" with the cursor and press the "OK" key to call out the sub-menu, select "Super Dark",
"Dark", "Normal", "Bright" and "Super Bright" on the sub-menu to adjust the brightness of the display screen. The
default is normal.
6.Thermal imager effect brightness
Click the M button to enter the menu brightness. There are 5 options, and the screen will change accordingly if you
choose any option.
7.Contrast
Click the M button to enter the menu Contrast There are 10 options, and the screen will change accordingly if you
choose any option.
8.Image detail enhancement
The image resolution of a photo or video comparison varies with any option 1-4. The default is 1
9.Date/Time
Enter the submenu "Date/Time" and short press OK button. Use the OK button to select one of the options. Select
the correct values for year, month and day with a short button press. Choose “YYYY/MM/DD”、“DD/MM/YYYY”or“M-
M/DD/YYYY”as your date format. Save the selected date and exit the submenu with a short press of the menu
button

10.Language settings
Click the M button to enter the menu language setting, set any language and confirm, the language will change
after the setting.
11.Video and audio
Cursor to select "Video Audio" and press "M" to call out the submenu. Select "On" or "Off" on the submenu, and
confirm whether the recording is with voice and audio recording
12.Format
Enter the submenu "Format" and short press the M button. Select Confirm or Cancel. Confirm your selection with a
short press of the M button. Please choose to confirm carefully! Data cannot be recovered after deletion!
13.Automatic shutdown
Options: 3 minutes,5 minutes, off, off by default, 3 minutes or 5 minutes after the startup can be selected automatic
shutdown
14.Default Settings
Select "Default Settings" with the cursor and press "OK" to call out the submenu. Select "Confirm" or "Cancel" on
the submenu to restore the default settings. After confirmation, the factory default settings will be restored. Please
operate with caution.

After opening the machine, open the confirmation of bad spot repair in the function setting key. If you need to
repair, cover the lens, and the bad spot can be repaired automatically. After repair, it needs to be saved
