UsingYour Coffee Maker
1. Beforeusingthecoffee makerforthefirst time
ŸBeforeusingthecoffee makerfor thefirsttime,pleasecheck iftheapplianceis inagood
condition.
ŸOperatetheappliancebyusingwateronly,withoutplacingthecoffee powder/bag intothe
coffee brewbasket.This will removethedustinsidethecoffee maker.
ŸPlacethecoffee makerona flatsurface.
ŸConnecttheappliancetoa properground powersupply.
2. Duringtheoperation
ŸPushpowerswitchatOFF position
ŸOpenthecoffee bag
ŸPlacethecoffee filter/bag inbrewbasket
ŸOpenthelid andfill withcold waterwithcarafe
ŸClosethelid and brewbasket
ŸPlacecarafeonwarming plate
ŸTurn onthepower
ŸEnjoyyourcoffee
ŸIf youneedtomakemorecoffee,turn off thepowerfirst,andthenwaitatleast5minutes
beforefilling withcold waterintothewatertank.

3. Clean andcarethecoffee maker
ŸThis coffee makerwill automatic shut-off afteroperatingonehour.Alwaysturnoff thepower
and unplug theappliancefrom theoutletusing it.
ŸBeforecleaning,unplug thepowercord from theoutlet,andwaitunittheapplianceiscooled
off.
ŸWipethecoffee makerandbrewfunnelwithasoftanddampclothe.Neverimmersethe
applianceinwateror washitdirectly bywater.
ŸNeveruseharshor abrasivecleanerstocleanthecoffee makeror carafe.
TatungLimitedWarranty
TatungCompanyofAmerica,Inc( Tatung”)warrants toyou,theoriginalownerofthisnewTatungCoffee maker
thatallpartsofthisproductarefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship,for90 daysfromthedateof
purchaseunder normaluseandservices.
Tatungwill,atouroption,repairorreplacetheproduct oranypartthatbecomesdefective,malfunctions,or
otherwisefailstoconformtothiswarrantyundernormaluse andserviceduringthetermof thiswarranty,atno
chargetoyou forpartsandlabor.
Thiswarrantydosenotcover:
1. Defects,malfunctionsorfailures resultingfromcauses beyondthecontrolofTatungorthemanufacture
oftheproduct,including,butno limitedto,shippingortransitaccidents,abuse,misuseoperation
contrarytofurnishedinstruction,improperorinsufficientventilation,operation withincorrectpower
supplies,operation withfaultyassociatedequipment,modification,alternation,improperservicing,acts
of God,tampering or normalwear andtear;
2. Productson whichtheserialnumber had beenaltered,defaced or removed;
3. Productspurchased outsideof theUnited States.
Shouldanyproductsubmitted for warrantyservice befoundineligibleforwarrantyservice,wewill provideyou
withanestimate ofthecost ofrepairandwill repairtheproduct upon yourrequest andupon receiptofpayment
or acceptablearrangements for payment.
Carry-InorMail-inService
You mustcarry-inormail-inyourproductatyou cost duringthelimitedwarrantyperiod(90 daysfromthedate
ofpurchase).Thislimited warrantyonlyapplies toproductspurchasedandserviced intheUnitedStates.This
LimitedWarrantyisextendedonlytotheoriginalpurchaserandonlycoversproductpurchasedasnew.A
purchasereceiptortheproofoftheoriginalpurchase dateisrequiredforLimitedWarrantyServices.Forthe
LimitedWarranty Service,contactTatung Service Departmentat1-800-827-2850.
Somestates donotallowtheexclusion orlimitation ofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,orlimitationson
howlong animpliedLimitedWarrantylasts,sotheexclusionsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyou specificlegalrights andyoumayalsohaveotherrights,whichvaryfromstatetostate.
Thisistheonlyexpress warranty applicabletotheproducts.Tatung neither assumesnor authorizedanyoneto
assumeforitanyother expresswarranty.
