WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr
Gerät benutzen, und befolgen Sie immer die

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen
Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.
Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen
oder aufräumen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es
an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten
empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör stellt eine Gefahr für den
Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung um das Gerät zu
bewegen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung
nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das
Gerät oder knicken Sie diese nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile,
ebene Fläche.
Ist Ihr Modell mit einem separaten Sockel oder einer
abtrennbaren Anschlussleitung ausgestattet, so entfernen
Sie diese Teile bevor Sie den Wasserkocher mit Wasser füllen.
Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einer festen Anschlussleitung
ausgestattet, ziehen Sie dann erst den Stecker aus der
Steckdose, bevor Sie den Wasserkocher füllen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher unterhalb der
Maximummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen Sie stets ob
der Wasserstand die Maximummarkierung nicht
überschreitet. Wenn Sie zuviel Wasser einfüllen, kann der
Wasserkocher überkochen und kochendes Wasser kann
herausspritzen.
Bei Gebrauch des Gerätes sollte der Deckel sachgemäß
geschlossen sein. Öffnen Sie erst dann den Deckel, wenn
sich der Wasserkocher selbst abgeschaltet hat.

Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen, da beim
Kochvorgang heißer Dampf entweichen kann.
Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einem separaten Sockel
ausgestattet, so darf der Wasserkocher nur mit diesem
Sockel benutzt werden.
Wenn das Symbol auf einer bestimmten Fläche des
Gerätes geklebt ist, ist es eine Warnung. Dieses Symbol
bedeutet: ACHTUNG, diese Fläche könnte während des
Gebrauches heiß werden.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder
irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.

derartige Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen Sie das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3
mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Entfernen Sie immer den Wasserkocher von dem Sockel, bevor Sie ihn mit Wasser füllen.
Öffnen Sie den Deckel in dem Sie den Freigabeknopf drücken und füllen Sie den Behälter
mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der Maximum- und
Minimummarkierung, die auf dem Wassertank zu sehen sind, gefüllt wird.
Schließen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie ihn nach unten drücken, bis Sie einen Klick hören.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.

Platzieren Sie das Gerät auf dem Sockel und stecken den Stecker in die Steckdose. Es
ertönt ein Signalton und im Display wird die aktuelle Wassertemperatur angezeigt. Wenn
keine Anzeige auf dem Display erkennbar ist, platzieren Sie den Wasserkocher erneut auf
dem Sockel oder überprüfen Sie ob er richtig auf dem Sockel steht.
Nach dem Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters wird die Grundeinstellung "100" angezeigt. Sie
können nun Ihre gewünschte Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Drücken der “+”
oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten vorwählen. Wenn Sie die Grundeinstellung nicht ändern
beginnt der Kochvorgang. Öffnen Sie den Deckel nicht, während das Wasser kochend
heiß ist. Auch während des Erhitzens des Wassers können Sie durch Betätigen der beiden
Temperatur-Einstelltasten die Wassertemperatur vorwählen. Die Wassertemperatur kann
zwischen 40°C und 95°C eingestellt werden. Wenn das Wasser die gewünschte
Temperatur erreicht hat, zeigt das LED-Display die aktuelle Wassertemperatur an. Das LED-
Display zeigt die tatsächliche Temperatur entsprechend Änderungen während des
Kochprozesses an.
Wenn Sie keine Temperatureinstellung vornehmen, wird das Wasser bis 100°C erhitzt. Der
Wasserkocher schaltet sich automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht. Sie können ihn
jederzeit ausschalten, indem Sie den Schalter betätigen.
Wenn Sie Wasser ein zweites Mal kochen wollen, nachdem der Wasserkocher automatisch
ausgeschaltet ist, lassen Sie zuerst das Wasser abkühlen. Danach schalten Sie das Gerät
wieder ein.
Wenn Sie die Warmhaltefunktion nutzen wollen, können Sie Ihre gewünschte
Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Betätigen der “+” oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten
vorwählen. Erscheint auf dem Display "b40", wurde die Warmhalte-Funktion bereits
aktiviert. Im Display blinkt die aktuelle Wassertemperatur und der Wasserkocher beginnt
mit dem Erwärmen des Wassers.
Möglichkeit 2: betätigen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter und halten Sie ihn 3 Sekunden gedrückt
bis im Display „b40“ erscheint. Das Display blinkt und sie können nun Ihre gewünschte
Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Betätigen der “+” oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten
vorwählen und der Wasserkocher beginnt mit dem Erwärmen des Wassers.
Im Display wird während des Aufheizens die aktuelle Wassertemperatur angezeigt. Nach
dem das Wasser 100°C erreicht hat, schaltet sich das Gerät aus. Wenn die
Wassertemperatur unter die eingestellte Temperatur fällt, schaltet sich das Gerät wieder
an. Wird die voreingestellte Temperatur erreicht, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.
Die Warmhaltefunktion arbeitet 2 Stunden. Nach 2 Stunden schaltet das Gerät sich
automatisch ab.
Empfehlungen zum Teekochen
Es gibt viele verschiedene Teesorten, und jede von ihnen hat seinen eigenen Geschmack und
optimale Wassertemperatur und Ziehzeit. Die empfohlene Temperatur- und Ziehzeit finden Sie
in der Tabelle:

ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet,
wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
Falls dies vorkommt, schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten und gießen Sie
kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher. Dies reicht, um den Trockengehschutz auszuschalten.
Der Wasserkocher wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder
scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
Den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter fließendem Wasser
reinigen.
FILTER
Ihr Gerät ist mit einem Filter ausgerüstet. Überprüfen Sie daher den korrekten Gebrauch
des Filters.
Wenn der Deckel geöffnet ist, können Sie den Partikelfilter entfernen, indem Sie ihn
herausziehen und unter fließendem Wasser reinigen.
Es ist notwendig, den Filter regelmäßig zu reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte erst dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Sollten Verkalkungen auftreten, verwenden Sie zur Beseitigung handelsübliche
Entkalkungsmittel.
Beachten Sie beim Entkalken:
Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in das Gerät, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
Dosieren Sie die Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark! Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung
der Entkalkungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie bei der Entkalkung mit Essig-Essenz max. 2-3ml.
Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
Spülen Sie den Behälter nach der Entkalkung mit klarem Wasser aus.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance, and always follow the safety and operating
instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years
and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord
unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old
or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when
it is cooling down.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated
on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never
use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of
damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a

Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a
dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the
producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and
risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure
the cord cannot get caught in any way. Stand the
appliance on a table or flat surface. Do not wind the cord
around the appliance and do not bend it.
If your type of appliance has a separate base or a
detachable cord, remove them from the water cooker
when filling it. If your appliance has a fixed cord, unplug it
before filling it.
Always fill under the maximum mark. The water must never
be above the maximum mark. Do not overfill the jug kettle
as boiling water might overflow.
When using the appliance, make sure the lid is closed
correctly. Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in use and
when there are risks of hot water projection due to the
bubbling.
Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that
evaporates when the water is boiling and especially when
you open the lid.
Use only the base that is supplied with the jug kettle.
Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface,
you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot
during use”.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an
external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.

FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications
such as:
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.
Farms.
The use by clients of hotels, motels and other environments with a residential
character.
Environments of the “bed and breakfast” type.
BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
Open the lid and fill the jug with fresh water, paying attention not to fill under the minimum
mark and above the maximum mark on the water level indicator.
Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and a beep will sound. If it does
not come on, check if the kettle is correctly positioned on the base and check if the base is
plugged in.
After pressing the ON/OFF button, "100" will appear. You can choose the temperature that
you need by pressing the “+” or ”-“ button, in 5° steps from 40 to 95°C. If no need the water
begins to heat up. DO NOT open the lid while the water is boiling. During the water boiling
process you can choose the temperature with the decrease or increase button. The
temperature adjusting scope is from 40 to 95°C. When the water reaches the desired
temperature, the LED display indicates the current temperature. The LED display indicates
the actual temperature according to changes during the boiling process.
The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. However, you can stop
the appliance any time by putting the switch in the off-position.
For instant reboiling, wait until the water has cooled down and switch on the appliance
again.
If you want to switch on the “KEEP WARM FUNCTION” you can choose a temperature
between 40°C and 95°C in 5° steps by pressing the “+” or ”-“ button firstly. The display

SAFETY CUT-OUT
This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the appliance
off when it is accidentally switched on without water. Please bear in mind that only the
thermostat is switched off in case of overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool.
Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element.
The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
To remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
Never use abrasive products.
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
FILTER
Your appliance is provided with a filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first.
When the lid is open, you can remove the particle filter by pulling it and clean it under
running water.
The filter should be rinsed clean regularly.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the jug, you have to descale it. To remove scale from the jug
kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose. Make sure to use a type

When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
First pour some water in the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.

N'utilisez pas l'appareil près de sources de chaleur.
L’appareil doit obligatoirement être débranché et refroidi
avant de le nettoyer, de le ranger ou de le remplir de
nouveau.
Veillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et entreposez-le
dans un endroit sec.
Ne pas utiliser d'accessoires non recommandés par le

AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Il est nécessaire de rincer votre bouilloire avant sa première utilisation. Pour cela, remplissez-la
au préalable avec de l’eau froide et mettez-la en fonctionnement. Une fois l’eau arrivée à
ébullition, videz la bouilloire, laissez-la refroidir, rincez-la et ensuite répétez l’opération 2 à 3 fois,
en veillant à remplir la bouilloire exclusivement avec de l’eau claire.
UTILISATION
Toujours enlever la bouilloire de son socle avant de la remplir d’eau.
Ouvrez le couvercle et remplissez le réservoir d’eau froide en prenant garde de toujours
vous situer entre les deux repères de niveau "MIN" et "MAX" inscrits sur l'indication du
niveau d'eau.
Refermez le couvercle en appuyant jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un déclic et assurez-
vous qu’il est correctement fixé.
Posez la bouilloire sur son socle, branchez la fiche et un signal sonore retentira.
Si la bouilloire reste éteinte, vérifiez que la bouilloire est correctement placée sur son socle
et que le cordon d’alimentation est branché.
Après avoir appuyé sur le bouton ON/OFF, "100" apparaîtra. Vous
pouvez choisir une température de 40 à 95°C en étapes de 5° en appuyant sur le bouton
“+” ou ”-“. Si vous ne voulez pas régler la température, l’eau commence à chauffer. NE
JAMAIS ouvrir le couvercle pendant que l’eau bout. Pendant le bouillonnement de l’eau
vous pouvez choisir la température à l’aide des boutons de diminuer ou d’augmenter la
température. La température réglable va de 40 jusqu’à 95°C. Quand l’eau atteint la

température désirée, l’écran LED montre la température actuelle. L’écran LED montre la
température actuelle selon les changements pendant le bouillonnement.
La bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement dès que l’eau bout mais vous pouvez l’arrêter à
tout moment en plaçant l’interrupteur sur sa position "arrêt".
Si vous voulez faire réchauffer l’eau une seconde fois, pour un nouvel usage et que votre
appareil s’est arrêté automatiquement lors de la première utilisation, il faut tout d’abord
que l’eau soit suffisamment refroidie pour autoriser la mise en fonctionnement. Une fois
ceci réalisé, il suffit de placer de nouveau l’interrupteur sur sa position "marche".
Si vous voulez allumer la “FONCTION MAINTIEN AU CHAUD”, vous pouvez d’abord choisir
une température de 40 jusqu’à 95°C en étapes de 5° à l’aide du bouton “+” ou “-“. “b40”
apparaît sur l’écran vous indiquant que la fonction maintien au chaud est activée,
l’appareil commence à chauffer et la température actuelle clignote jusqu’à ce que l’eau
soit bouillie (100°C), et alors l’appareil s’éteint.
Option 2: appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF et maintenez le bouton enfoncé pendant 3
secondes jusqu’à ce que "b40" apparaisse sur l’écran. L’écran clignotera. Vous pouvez
changer la température à l’aide du bouton “+” ou “-“ vers une température de 40 jusqu’à
95°C en étapes de 5°. L’appareil commence à chauffer jusqu’à ce que l’eau soit bouillie
(100°C), et alors l’appareil s’éteint.
Pendant la chauffe, l’écran indique la température actuelle de l'eau. Quand l'eau a
bouillie (100°), l'appareil s'éteint. Quand la température de l’eau tombe en dessous de la
température réglée, l’appareil se remettra en marche. Quand la température réglée est
atteinte, l’appareil s’éteindra automatiquement. La fonction maintien au chaud
fonctionne pendant 2 heures. Après 2 heures la bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement.

FONCTIONNEMENT A VIDE
Cette bouilloire est équipée d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,

froide.

Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Utiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
Ne jamais plonger la bouilloire ou son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
FILTRE
Votre appareil est muni d'un filtre qui doit obligatoirement être en place lorsque vous
utilisez votre appareil.
Lorsque la bouilloire est ouverte, vous pouvez retirer le filtre à particules en le tirant vers le
haut pour ensuite le nettoyer à l'eau courante.
Il est nécessaire de laver ce filtre de façon régulière pour le débarrasser notamment des
dépôts de calcaire.
DETARTRAGE
Dès que vous constatez un dépôt de calcaire dans la bouilloire, il est nécessaire de la
détartrer. Pour le détartrage de votre bouilloire, utilisez des produits spécifiques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce et suivez les consignes indiquées sur leurs emballages.
Lors du détartrage, veuillez faire attention aux points suivants:
Versez d'abord de l'eau dans la bouilloire avant d'ajouter le produit détartrant.
Assurez-vous que le produit est suffisamment dilué. Lisez le mode d'emploi du produit.
Si vous utilisez du vinaigre, n'utilisez pas plus de 2 à 3 ml.
Attention, lorsque la bouilloire chauffe, le mélange pourrait mousser!
Après le détartrage, rincez l'appareil deux fois à l'eau claire.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel
gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de veiligheids- en de
gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van
meer dan 8 jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke,
