1. Introduction
1.1 Previous concepts
This instruction manual introduces the safe and proper handling of TECHNOFLUX DRAGO I-E
and DRAGO II-E range of Oxyhydric Welders.
The safety instructions outlined throughout this manual, as well as the general instructions for
operating machinery, must be respected. Accident prevention measures and general safety
regulations indicated in the workplace and in the work stations associated with this equipment
must also be taken into account.
This manual is valid for professional maintenance or after-sales customer service personnel.
To highlight the most important sections of this manual while reading it, these have been highli-
ghted by classifying them into three levels of importance as indicated below:

2. Warranty
TECHNOFLUX products are covered by a twelve month warranty. From the date of delivery to
the customer.
To use other types of liquids or non-compatible torches, GABRIEL BENMAYOR S.A. is not res-
ponsible for any breakdowns that may cause.
If the machine is hit or tampered with by the customer, it will lose its warranty.
3. Technical Specifications
This manual is applicable for the following products:
• TECHNOFLUX DRAGO I-E Oxyhydric Welder
• TECHNOFLUX DRAGO II-E Oxyhydric Welder
The new DRAGO II-E model has more power and a regulator that maintains constant flame pres-
sure. Tank level indicator light. Includes adjustable TECHNOFLUX torch.

4. Start Up
4.1 Expected use
DRAGO I-E and DRAGO II-E oxyhydric welders have the objective of welding any type of common
alloys, without having problems of overheating of the structures, thereby obtaining great preci-
sion at the welding point. The oxyhydrogen welder generates its own fuel from a first charge of
TECHNOFLUX CH, maintaining the level with distilled water and achieving exceptional results.
With the advantages of a very simple use and freeing us from the use of traditional torches, pro-
tective gloves, oxygen consumptions and uncomfortable acetylene bottles. It is suitable for both
welding and flame cutting, replacing other more expensive welding tools.

4.2 Basic safety instructions during use
In accordance with CE conformity, the machine complies with safety regulations.
Likewise, the equipment is automated to ensure safety both in its use and in its maintenance. To
prevent any risky situation, it is necessary to follow the following basic safety instructions:
• Do not remove the screws or covers
• Keep the electrical cabinet closed at all times
• Do not expose the machine to water or moisture

4.4 Initial filling of vat and containers
A) Unscrew the tank cap (A)
Add approximately 1.7 liters of CH TECHNOFLUX. To fill this tank we use a funnel (supplied by
the manufacturer) to avoid spillage through the chassis or inside the machine
We will activate the start switch and verify that the level is correct, in case the MAX LED does
not turn on without turning off the machine we will add a little more CH liquid.
When the level is correct we will stop the machine, remove the funnel and place the tank cap.
ATTENTION: This product is corrosive and can damage people or parts
of the appliance (see package label without removing the funnel) if not
used correctly.
WARNING: If the tank (A) is filled with 2 liters of CH and the MAX level
does not come on, do not add more liquid. Contact the supplier.
The autonomy of the level of the main tank (A) will vary according to the
size of the needle with which you work. With 100% performance, the
autonomy is approximately 8 hours.
B) Tank level probe
• MIN Led on - minimum tank level
• MIN-MAX Led off - optimum tank level
• MAX Led on - maximum tank level
C) Flux Gas tank filling (C), and Flux 2 (B)
• The Flux 2 reservoir should be filled to the MAX level mark with TECHNOFLUX FLUX 2.
• The Flux Gas tank must be filled with 25% TECHNOFLUX FLUX GAS liquid and 75% TECH-
NOFLUX FLUX2. If we want the flame to be a little more antioxidant, we will change this
proportion without exceeding a maximum of 50% Flux Gas.

From this moment on, the necessary interventions for the maintenance of the machine can be
carried out.
IMPORTANT: Guarantee the disconnection of the plug from the corres-
ponding connection base and check that there are no third parties who
can reconnect the machine while working on it. If necessary, move the
equipment to the designated maintenance area.
4.5 Functioning
For a correct operation of the oxyhydric welders it is necessary to follow the following indica-
tions:
• Connect the plastic tube at one end to the gas outlet fitting of the machine and at the other
to the A1 mini torch supplied by the manufacturer.
• Screw in the needle necessary to carry out the work.
• Connect the machine to a 230V earthed socket.
• Press the switch, the orange voltage light and the green gas generator light come on. The
latter varies its tonality depending on the necessary pressure adjusted with the regulator for
the ignition of the flame with the different needles.
• Keep the mini torch open for a few minutes to allow air to be expelled from the machine
circuit. Then light and adjust the flame pressure with the regulator. This should remain about
two tenths away from the needle.
5.2 Preliminary operations and general maintenance instructions
Carrying out improper maintenance work can lead to serious personal and material damage. For
this reason, these works must be carried out exclusively by authorized personnel, trained and
familiar with the working methods of the machine, taking into account the safety regulations.
Before starting work, the machine must be stopped and secured against a possible restart.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Basic safety instructions during maintenance
Take into account the following important safety points when performing maintenance opera-
tions with the equipment and the contraindicated uses that are detailed based on experience:
• Inspections and repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Always use original spare parts. Otherwise, the warranty may lose its validity.
• During inspections, maintenance and repairs, the machine must remain disconnected from
the electrical power supply.

5.3 Maintenance operations
The following are recommended maintenance operations for regular use of the equipment,
arranged according to the expected frequency:
• The filling for the tank level (A) will be done with distilled water.
5.4 Possible anomalies and solutions
• Power supply failure
In the event that the gas gene pilot (green) does not come on when the machine is switched
on, check that there is no pressure in the tank (A) to rule out possible plugs. If this fault per-
sists, it is necessary to contact the supplier.
• Block
With the machine running and the mini torch open without needle, the green gas gene light
should remain on, if not, remove the torch and the anti-return filter that is located behind
the outlet nozzle (see Image 3). If it is still off, the hood is inside the machine.
• Gas leak
With the machine running and the torch closed, the gas gene pilot must go off and not light
up, if not, check that the caps of the tanks (A), (B) and (C) are properly closed and the state
of the gaskets of both plugs and torch. If the gas gene LED turns on again, the leak is inside
the machine.
It is recommended that with daily use of the machine, the level is topped up every
6 months with CH liquid so as not to lose gas-generating properties.
When the MIN indicator turns on, turn off the machine and let the internal pressure escape
through the mini torch. Unscrew the tank cap (A) little by little in case some pressure remains
inside, thus avoiding splashing of the liquid.
To verify the levels of the external Flux Gas and Flux 2 tanks, put the machine into operation
until gas comes out of the mini torch, thus we make sure that the liquids have been recirculated
through the machine and are in the corresponding tanks.

We will immerse them in Flux 2 liquid for 8 hours, dry or blow with pressurized air
and assemble, verifying that the position of the filter washers of the outlet fitting
is correct.
The complete revision of the machine must be carried out solely and exclusively by technicians
from the company Gabriel Benmayor S.A.
It is advisable to do a review of the equipment every 18-24 months since the internal parts of
the machine as well as tubes and joints can deteriorate. This deterioration can lead to internal
leaks that cause breakdowns in the power supply and safety of the machine.
Carefully read the risk labels of TECHNOFLUX products before use.
Do not bring any type of flame to external or internal parts, we could cause an
explosion.
Do not disassemble filters from the external elements (mini torch) or anti-return
filter, in case of flashback we would cause an explosion in the tanks (B) and (C).
The machine must be located in a ventilated and clean area, thus allowing good air
circulation inside.
Do not use funnels or canister to fill liquids that may have been in contact with a
soapy product. This would contaminate the entire interior of the machine.
Do not disassemble or manipulate side covers or internal protection elements.
5.5 Maintenance and inspection
The maintenance to be carried out by the customer is the cleaning of the filters or replacement
if they are highly saturated, as well as the replacement of plug seals (A) or tanks (B) and (C),
upper O-rings and lower flat seal.
To clean the filters, the lower part of the torch (where the hose is connected) and the anti-return
filter that is located behind the gas outlet connection of the machine must be removed.
