GSM900: Plug-in GSM module for remote control of doors, to be installed into TVPRP868x10x control unit.
The device has a built-in GSM-Quad Band module, suitable for communication via SMS or phone-call.
For a correct installation and use of this product, scrupulously respect the indications laid out in this manual.
The product could produce or be subject to interferences that may inuence its performance or the functioning
of other devices in the proximity. Read carefully the Safety Information.

EN - PLUG-IN GSM MODULE FOR REMOTE CONTROL OF DOORS
1- Product description
3- Installation
•Insert the SIM in the proper slot of GSM900.
•Install the aerial for the GSM signal reception.
•Plug the module in the proper connector of TVPRP control unit.
•Switch the TVPRP on.
•Wait about 30 seconds for the initial startup and the connection to GSM signal.
Connection led quickly ashes during the GSM signal research, then slower once the connection is ready.
GSM led shows the quality of the connection and possible errors:

2- Preliminary check
•SIM card must be active and having credit.
•PIN code and the answering service MUST be disabled.
•Do not activate any other additional services, like the incoming calls lter or number masking.
We suggest to try the correct functioning of the SIM by means of a standard mobile phone before starting the
installation of the product.

If the door is totally closed, the phone
call activates an OPENING
• If the door is moving, the phone call activates a STOP.
• If the door is partially open the phone call activate the
opposite command of the previously executed command.
4- COMMANDS BY PHONE CALL
By means of a free phone call, it’s possible to activate an opening or a closure of the door.
In order to use this function it is necessary to enable the telephone number in the GSM module.
If the door is totally open, the phone call

Press 3 times and hold the programming button down for at least 10 seconds; during this lapse PROG led will ash
intermittently and quickly, until it will turn constantly on. At the end release the button.
Note: It is possible enabling/disabling a telephone number even with SMS commands.

CHANGE THE PASSWORD
Syntax: xxxxx is the new password.
The command PWD is followed by the valid password.
Only numeric passwords are permitted, 5 digits long.

MEMORIZE A NUMBER IN THE TELEPHONE BOOK
Syntax: x = position in the telephone book (1-8).
y = telephone number (max. 19 digits).
Notes: the telephone book has 8 positions maximum.
The numbers memorized in the telephone book have both
alarm calls and SMS activated by default.
If a position is already occupied, it is overwritten.

3DELETE A NUMBER IN THE TELEPHONE BOOK
Syntax: x = position in the telephone book to delete (1-8).

The device sends the list of the numbers with their position.

TOTAL RESET OF THE PARAMETERS AND DELETION OF
ALL THE MEMORIZED NUMBERS
It completely deletes the memory, restoring the factory settings.

ACTIVATION OF ALARM SMS FOR A SPECIFIC NUMBER
Syntax: the command SMS is followed by the positions in the
telephone book (from 1 to 8 max.) of the numbers for which
is required to activate the function (e.g., SMS145 activate the
sms sending for the numbers at positions 1,4 and 5). This function
sends only alarm sms, like “Alarm door” and “Low battery”.
Note: All the numbers memorized by means of the command
TELx have this function activated by default.

DEACTIVATION OF ALARM SMS FOR A SPECIFIC NUMBER
The command deactivates the reception of alarm sms.
See syntax and notes above.

By means of a SMS it’s possible to command the door, check its status, activate some functions or modify
system parameters. The default password is “12345”, but it can be modied with an SMS.
Notes:
•Once the password is modied, if forgotten, it’s not possible any restoring of the default one.
• SMS commands are NOT case sensitive.
• If any SMS not reported in the table below is received (e.g., credit info), the device forward the same
SMS to the rst number memorized in the telephone book.
•According to the standard used in a specic country, it could be necessary write the telephone numbers
with the international dialing codes or just with a “0” before.
•The device replies to the conguration SMS with another SMS and a phone call.
Automatic SMS:
The module automatically sends two types of alarm messages to the rst number in the telephone book.
1- SMS “ALARM DOOR”: this message is sent to the numbers memorized in the telephone book when
TVPRP control unit has received a signal from an alarm transmitter (e.g., TVTCTM or TVSSH).
2- SMS “BATTERY LOW”: this message is sent to the numbers memorized in the telephone book when
TVPRP control unit has received a signal “battery low” from wireless sensitive edge transmitter TCSP240.

Syntax: the command VOC is followed by the positions in the
telephone book (from 1 to 8 max.) of the numbers for which
is required to activate the function (e.g., VOC145 activate the
alarm calls for the numbers at positions 1,4 and 5). This function
make only alarm calls in case of “Alarm door” and “Low battery”.
Note: All the numbers memorized by means of the command
TELx have this function activated by default.

MEMORIZING A PHONE NUMBER FOR DOOR COMMAND
Syntax: it’s possible to memorize one number (e.g.,
MAC12345,xxxxxxxxxxxx) or more (maximum 10), separated
by commas, for each SMS.
Furthermore it’s possible to memorize one number (or more)
that will be valid just for a limited number of commands: in
order to activate this function add to the number the parameter
“U”, followed by the validity (number of commands).

ACTIVATION OF FEEDBACK CALLS AFTER EACH SMS
After every command sent via SMS, the device make a call
and send an SMS as conrmation of the correct reception. This
automatic call must be manually stopped, hanging-up.
The function is deactivated by default.

ACTIVATION OF “SURVIVAL” SMS (from ver. 1.7 on)
Syntax: the command is followed by the frequency of sending
(days, from 1 to 250). E.g., SMSON15: the device will send a
sms “OK” every 15 days, in order to keep the SIM active.

7.1- SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNINGS:
The functioning of the device next to radio, televisions, mobile phones or any other electronic devices,
could generate interference. The device can be subject to external interferences, which can inuence
its proper functioning.
Do not install the device next to pacemakers or any other electronic medical devices, because it
could interfere with the correct functioning of these devices.
We inform that GSM900 works using radio frequency and not one telephonic company can guarantee
the connection to the device at any moment. For this reason the product cannot be used with personal
emergency systems.
Furthermore the user is totally and exclusively responsible of the remote command of the door by
means of the product GSM900. Teleco Automation Srl declines any responsibility for direct or indirect
damages caused by possible malfunctioning, wrong installation or external causes like power supply
black-out or GSM signal missing.
Notes:
- A telephone number cannot be memorized more than one time.
- In order to delete a telephone number by means of the command “DACpassword,xxxxxxxx”, it is
necessary to write it with the same dialing code earlier used for the command “MAC12345,xxxxxx”.
In the view of a constant development of their products, the manufacturer reserves the right for
changing technical data and features without prior notice.
