SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and understand the owner’s manual and labels afxed to the elec-
tric blower/vacuum. Learn its application and limitations as well as the
specic potential hazards. Retain these instructions for future reference.
• TheBlowVacisanelectricalapplianceusingfastmovingpartsandas
 suchcanbedangerousifhandledirresponsibly.
• TheBlowVacisonlysuitablefordomesticuseandcanbeusedonly
 forprocessinglight,drygardenwastematerialssuchasleaves, 
 grasscuttings,clippings,smalltwigsandpiecesofpaper.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
1. Connectthetopsuctiontubetothebottomsuctiontubeandscrew
 together.
2. Insertbothsuctiontubesintothemainbodyandscrewtogether.
3. Insertthefronthandleintotherecessinthemainbody.
4. Hookthefrontendofthecollectionbagontothebottomsuction
 tube, hooktherearendofthecollectionbagontothemainbody
 andslipthesquareopeningofthecollectionbagontothesquare
 openingofthemainbody.Itwillsnapintoplace.
5. Ensurethezipfastenerisclosedonthecollectionbag.
6. Thestrapisattachedtothemachineusingthemetaltriangular
 clip.Unscrewandxthistothesmallmouldedringonthetop
 handle.
7. Threadthecablethroughthestrainrelieffeatureformingaloopas
 shown.Ensurethatthereissufcientslackinthecable.
8. Itisrecommendedthata30mAcurrentsafetycut-offswitchis
 employedwhenusingtheBlow/Vac.Ensuretubesarexedin
 positionand thecollectionbagissecurebeforeconnectingtothe
 mainselectricitysupply.
9. Attachthewheelsbyslidingoverthelowertube.
TheOn/Off switchislocatedontheundersideoftherearhandleandis
operatedbypressingandholdingtheswitchtoturnOnandreleasingto
turnOff.
TheVariable Power Switchislocatedonthelefthandsideoftherear
handle-thiscontrolsthespeedforbothvacuumandblowoptions
Never usetheBlow/Vacwithwethandsorwhenitisraining.
Using as a Blower:
MovetheswitchtotheblowersettingasshownandmovetheBlowVac
gentlyfromsidetosideafewcentimetresabovegroundlevel.
NeverpointtheBlowVacatpeopleoranimalsandtakeextracarewhen
usingnearsand,soil,loosegravelorshingle.
To convert to a Vacuum Shredder:
Moveswitchtothevac/shreddersettingasshown.
Adjustthelengthoftheshoulderstraptosuitandholdthemachinewith
bothhands(oneon thetophandle,oneontherearhandle).
Switchonandmovethemachineoverthedebrisslowly.
Suctionpowerdecreaseswhenthebagisfullsoensurethatitisemptied
regularly.
Beforeemptyingdisconnectfromthemains.
Whenyouhavenishedyourworkvacuumingreturntheswitchtothe
blowmodetoremoveanymaterialstilllodgedinthesuctiontubes.

MAINTENANCE
BeforeyouperformanycleaningormaintenanceworkonyourBlowVac,ensurethattheunitis
switchedoff,disconnectedfromthemainselectricitysupplyandthatallmovingpartsare
stationary.
1. Removedustanddirtwithaclothorbrush.
2. Neverusewaterorsolventstocleantheunit.
3. Shakeoutthecollectionbagthoroughly,turninsideoutandbrushthebagout.
4. Youmaywashthebagbyhandwhenitisverysoiledusingamilddetergentbut  
 ensureitisthoroughlydrybeforere-use.
5. Ifthezipbecomesstifftouse,rubwithdrysoap.
6. Regularlycheckthebagforrips,tearsandholesandreplaceimmediatelyifdamaged.
7. Storeinadryenvironmentandensuretheunitisthoroughlycleanpriortoan  
 extendedstoragetime.
