~
Warning
Very importnant, please note:
The TheraPlate is designed to be powered by its custom motor/

Important Precautions
1. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users
of the TheraPlate are adequately informed of all warnings
and precautions.
2. Operate the TheraPlate only as described in this manual.
3. Do not operate the TheraPlate until it is properly assembled and leveled.
4. Protect the power cord at all times from sharp objects including but
not limited to horse shoes or hooves. use a commercially available cord
protector in all areas where cord is exposed.
5. Inspect the cord for damage before each use. do not use if cord has
been damaged. Do not use the TheraPlate with more than 25 feet of
extension cord (12 guage).
6. Do not modify the power cord or use an adapter to connect the power
cord to an improper receptacle. protect cord from heat sources.
7. Always plug the TheraPlate revolution’s speed controller into a GFI /
RCD (GFI is US And RCD is typically UK and EU) protected outlet.
If a permanent GFI outlet is not available, a portable GFI outlet should
be used. Test the CFGI outlet for proper operation before each use.
A commercially available surge protector should also be used at all
times to protect your unit’s motors from power surges that could
damage the motors and associated electronics.
8. Keep the TheraPlate away from areas of standing water. Do not use
high pressure spray from a hose to clean. Low pressure running water
should be used to clean the unit. remove debris with a stiff brush or
broom and use a damp cloth to clean the TheraPlate.
9. Place the TheraPlate on a level surface if possible. If a level surface is
not available, using a level and the leveling feet on the bottom of the
TheraPlate to bring the machine to a level postion.
10. Children should not operate the TheraPlate.
11. The TheraPlate Revolution equine should not be used
by horses that weigh in excess of 3,500 pounds.

Assembly
Save these instructions
We highly recommed that the unit be placed out of the weather, on rubber
mats on a solid surface (asphalt, concrete, etc).
If the TheraPlate must be located in a stall, be sure it is on clean rubber
mats with no shavings. The area under and around the base of unit must be
kept clean and free of debris. be sure to protect the unit from flooding from
neighboring stalls and any other potential sources of water intrusion.
Your TheraPlate arrives in two 80 pound sections. Each section has flush
cut rubber on one end and rubber that overhangs on the other end. this is
a protective feature to protect the feet & legs of the horse as they enter
or depart the machine. when setup properly, the flush cut ends should be
together in the middle with only a very small gap between the units.
Place the units on their side with the carry handles facing up. Open the cord
retainer boxes on the bottom of each unit. The main unit has a male and
female power cord, the secondary unit has a single male power cord.
Pull the female cord out of the main unit and connect to the male cord in the
secondary unit. Important - the cords should not be pushed back past the
back side of the cord retainer box.
If the cord(s) are pushed past the back of the retainer box, the cord could be
lost inside the unit. this connection should then be closed and remain inside
the secondary unit cord retainer box, as shown in the picture below. This
cord connection will remain inside the secondary unit cord retainer box.

Assembly
Connect the remaining male cord from the main unit to the female outlet
on the motor/speed controller unit. Plug the male power cord of the control
unit into the surge protector, and the surge protector into the GFI protected
outlet. Protect these exposed cords with cord protectors.
Be sure both cord retainer doors are closed and then carefully lay both units
back down on to the leveling feet at the same time.
Bolt Plates
Next install the bolt plates. which are located near the middle of the unit
on both sides between the TheraPlate logo stickers , one on each side of
the unit. using a 9/16” wrench or socket, remove the two bolts in the half
without the bolt plate, then loosen the two bolts holding the bolt plates in
place, about 3/4 of the way out, pull the bolt plate away from the unit and
rotate it 180 degrees and line up and reinsert the two bolts removed in the
first step. Tighten all four bolts until they are tight.
Continued overleaf…
Never plug the TheraPlate directly into any power source. failure to use
the TheraPlate motor/speed controller will result in permanent damage
to the motors, and the resulting damage is not covered by the warranty.

Assembly continued.
Mounting the controller unit
Warning: Be sure the control box is unplugged before mounting or moving
it. included in your TheraPlate packet is a mounting template. this will show
you exactly where the screws need to be placed to mount your controller
unit. note: the controller unit will need to be mounted on the wall for use.
Do not leave it lying on the ground. Laying the controller on the ground could
result in dirt and debris entering the box. Debris inside the control box may
affect the operation of the control box and is not covered by the warranty.
Use screws to mount your controller unit to the wall and only leave the
minimum amount of screw exposed to hang your unit. Screws that are too
long could make contact with electricity inside the box, which can cause
a short.
Fwd/Brk/Rev
On the controller unit, the forward / break / reverse button is an
unused option.

RCD & Surge Protector
Important for installation
It’s crucial that you purchase an official RCD & Surge Protector from our
website. This is to make sure that you don’t permanently damage your
TheraPlate. The RCD & Surge Protector protects your TheraPlate and
electrical system in your home and stables from an electrical fault.
It acts in the same way as a fuse box in your home.

Maintenance
The TheraPlate revolution equine is nearly maintenance free. the motors are
permanently lubricated and are maintenance free. The electrical cords and
associated components should be inspected for damage and maintained
before every use.
The surfaces of the TheraPlate revolution should be cleaned using a stiff
brush to remove debris and final cleaning with a damp cloth.
Care should be used to avoid contact with high pressure water from hoses
or other water sources. But it is ok to use a low pressure hose to clean the
machine a least once a week.
Important - be sure the unit is unplugged before washing the unit.
Following the simple steps below can solve most problems.
Find the syptom that applies, and follow the steps listed. If further
assistance is needed, contact customer care as outlined above.
Warning, very important
The TheraPlate is made from aircraft aluminum and although
aluminum is exteremely corrosion resistant, it should not be exposed
for prolonged periods to the combination of manure and urine.
Failure to clean and maintain the TheraPlate on a daily basis could
result in damaging corrosion, which could include damage to the
motors and frame components which would result in them not
being covered by the warranty.
