MYONYX Mobile App
Installation Instructions
Overview
These installation instructions provide the steps for installing and configuring the MYONYX
MYONYX Mobile app. The app is designed for the MYONYX encoder SA9000. For details on
the app, refer to the MYONYX Mobile App guide. For details on the MYONYX encoder,
including installation, configuration, and use, refer to the MYONYX Hardware Manual.
Note: Ensure that you read and follow all warnings and cautions.
Intended Use
The MYONYX encoder and MYONYX Mobile App are intended for biofeedback, relaxation,
stress reduction, muscle reeducation, and incontinence. It is designed for in-clinic use. It is not
intended for diagnosis or life support.
Requirements
The following are required for downloading and installing the app:
•An Internet connection
•Bluetooth v 4.0
•Android version 7 or above
•Google Account or Google Play Store account
•Android Tablet (at least 7 inches)
•MYONYX encoder SA900
Size
•The app requires 18.5 MB. Extra space is needed for session data and patient
data.

Downloading and Installing the MYONYX App
It takes only minutes to download and install the MYONYX mobile app.
To download the MYONYX mobile app:
1. Log in to your smart device.
2. Enter your Google account credentials if prompted.

3. Tap the Google Play Store icon on your homepage.
4. When Google Play Store opens, tap the magnifying glass.
5. Enter MYONYX in the search bar.
Note: The search is not case-sensitive.
The MYONYX installation screen appears.
6. Tap Install.
The MYONYX mobile app begins installing. A progress bar indicates the status
of the installation.
When the installation is complete, the App installed message appears.

7. Do one of the following:
•Tap Done to close the MYONYX mobile app.
•Tap Open to launch the MYONYX mobile app.
At this point, you can view all the screens in the app and begin setting up patient
accounts. However, before using the app, you need to pair your tablet with the
MYONYX encoder using Bluetooth.
Pairing the MYONYX with your Tablet or Smartphone
Note: For this procedure, Bluetooth v 4.0 must be available on your tablet. You need to
perform these steps once only for each smart device and MYONYX pair.

To begin:
1. Turn on both your smart device and the MYONYX encoder.
2. Tap Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth on your tablet or smartphone.
3. Make sure Bluetooth is turned On.
4. Select Settings > Bluetooth Discoverability on the MYONYX.
The following screen appears on the MYONYX. It is discoverable for the next 60 seconds.
On the tablet or smartphone, the MYONYX is displayed with its serial number under
Available devices.

5. Tap the MYONYX device.
This is shown as AMI_ with the serial number of the device.
The MYONYX device appears under Paired devices.

The Bluetooth Paired screen appears on MYONYX.
Uninstalling the MYONYX MYONYX App
If you need to uninstall the MYONYX App:
1. Tap Settings on the Home screen of your smart device.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Tap the MYONYX MYONYX app.
4. Tap Uninstall.
