Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for
household use only.
This styling iron is designed for safety and
performance. This appliance may have a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other.) As a safety
feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
BARREL WITH TOURMALINE AND
CERAMIC
The easy-to-clean barrel with tourmaline gemstone
and ceramic emits maximum hair-conditioning ions
and far-infrared heat, helping hair retain its own
moisture for soft, shiny styles in a fraction of time.
HELPFUL STYLING HINTS
• Hair should be clean and dried completely
before using any styling tool.
• Plug your styling iron into an electrical
outlet. Push the “On” button. Select the dial
setting best suited for your hair type.
1. PREP
Get your hair ready for extreme curls,
and massive volume with no kinks.
Before styling, spray Bed Head® Foxy
Curls™ Hi-Def Curl Spray* throughout
damp hair. Blow-dry hair as desired
and section hair.
2. STYLE
Take a 2-inch section of hair and
put the end under the kink-free mini
clamp. Hold the iron at a vertical angle
and rotate it, wrapping the hair tightly
around the barrel. Hold your Bed
Head® Twisted™ Iron in this position
for a few seconds, depending on your
hair type. Release the clamp and pull
the iron out from the center of the curl.
Repeat the process until desired look is
achieved.
3. FINISH
Loosen up curls by gently shaking.
Complete your look by lightly misting
your Bed Head® Foxy Curls™ Hi-Def
Curl Spray to tame frizz and add shine.

• Push the “Off” button and unplug the styling
tool after styling is complete.
• Allow the hair to cool before combing or
brushing.
AUTO SHUT-OFF
Your appliance has an Automatic Shut-off feature.
Should you forget to turn off the styling iron, it will
automatically shut off within an hour.
AUTOMATIC WORLDWIDE DUAL
VOLTAGE
This appliance will automatically adjust to the
proper voltage. In North America, connect the plug
into any outlet. Outside North America, use a plug
adapter attachment of the proper configuration for
the appropriate power outlet.

IMPORTANT: When using the styling iron for
the first time, select the LOWEST heat setting and
test in one small section of hair for 5 to 8 seconds.
If you want to use a higher setting, be sure to
GRADUALLY increase the temperature. Never style
hair for the first time on a high setting as this may
damage your hair. Use only as much heat as you
need for effective curling. Over time, using more
heat than is necessary can result in hair damage.

being used or where oxygen is being

9. This curling iron and clip are hot
when in use. DO NOT let eyes and
bare skin touch heated surfaces.
Use the handle.
10. DO NOT use an extension cord with
this appliance.
11. DO NOT place the heated appliance
directly on any surface while it is
hot or plugged in. Use the stand
provided.
12. DO NOT operate this appliance with
a voltage converter.

Maintenance
Your appliance is virtually maintenance
free. No lubrication is needed. Keep
heated surfaces clean and free of dust,
dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning becomes
necessary, unplug the appliance from
the power source and wipe the exterior
with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes
twisted, untwist prior to use.
WARNING: If any malfunction
occurs, do not attempt to repair. This
appliance has no user-serviceable
parts.
STORAGE
When not in use, “unplug it.”
Allow appliance to cool and store
out of reach of children in a safe, dry
location. Never wrap the cord around
the appliance since this will cause the
cord to wear prematurely and break.
Handle cord carefully for longer life and
avoid jerking, bending sharply, twisting,
or straining cord, especially at plug
connections.
