Step 1
Join the top (250 mm x 250 mm) x 1 and bottom of the
chair (250 mm x 250 mm) x 1 to the front (218 mm x 250
mm) x 1. First drill pilot holes for the screws, then counter-
sink them, before applying wood glue and fastening the
pieces together with screws.
Step 2
Step 3
You are now ready to join the back of the chair (500 mm
x 250 mm) x 1 to the U shape you created in step 1. Again
drill pilot holes, then countersink them, before applying
wood glue and fastening the pieces together with screws.
Now join the two bottom strips (50 mm x 250 mm) x 2
to the bottom of the chair. Position them about 10 mm
in from the back and front of the chair. Drill pilot holes,
countersink them, apply wood glue and fasten with
screws. Finally, ll the screw holes with wood ller, allow
to dry, then paint your chair in the colour of your choice.
