CONVERTIBLE CRIB

Please read these instructions before use of this product. Failure to follow
these warning and the assembly instructions could result in injury or death.
Please save manual for future use as it contains important information.
Read all instructions before assembling crib. KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
Do not use this crib if the instructions cannot be strictly followed.
Two people will be needed to assemble this unit.
CAUTION: Any mattress used on this crib must be at least 27-1/4 inches by 51-5/8 inches
with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches.
DO NOT use a water mattress with this crib
Ensure a safe environment for your child by checking regularly that every component is properly
and securely in place before placing your child in the crib. Make sure that all bolts and fasteners
are tight.
Before each usage or assembly, inspect crib for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts,
or sharp edges. DO NOT use crib if parts are missing or broken. Contact BabyAge.com for
replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
When a child is able to pull to a standing position, set mattress to lowest position and remove
bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
When child is able to climb out or reaches the height of 35 inches (90cm), the crib shall no
longer be used and can be converted to the transitional bed.
Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck, such
as hood strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys.
DO NOT place crib near window where the child may fall out or where cords from blinds or
drapes may strangle the child. DO NOT place cords, straps or similar items that could become
wound around the child’s neck in or near the crib.
Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic fillm as mattress covers because they can
cause suffocation.
If refinishing or touching up, use a non-toxic finish specified for children’s products.
To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs
to sleep, unless otherwise advided by your physician.
To help prevent strangulation, tighten all fasteners. A child can trap parts of the body or clothing
on loose fasteners.
Infants can suffocate in gaps between crib sides and a mattress that is too small.
Follow warnings on all product in a crib.
WARNING: Infants can suffocate on soft bedding. Never add a pillow or comforter.
Never place additional padding under an infant.

Do not use this bed if the instructions can not be strictly followed
CAUTION: The mattress intended for use on this bed shall be a full-size crib mattress having
minimum dimensions of 51-5/8 inches in length and 27-1/4 inches in width and 4 inches in
thickness
The minimum age shall not be less than 15 months and the maximum weight shall not be
greater than 50 lbs (22.7kg)
Do not use a water mattress with this bed
Do not place items with a string, cord, or ribbon around a child’s neck, such as hood strings
or pacifier cords
Do not suspend strings over a toddler bed for any reason
Make sure to place this bed in your child’s room keeping in mind hazards such as windows, walls,
and other pieces of furniture. Windows are dangerous if the child can use the bed to climb out
of the window. For other pieces of furniture and walls, a minimum of 12 inches is recommended
between the bed and the furniture or wall to reduce the risk a child may slide into the smaller
spaces and suffocate

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage
Regularly check to make sure that the bolts are all fastened tightly. Due to regular wear and
tear, they can come loose
To clean bed, use only mild household soap and warm water. Do not use bleach or detergent.
Do not use abrasive cleaners which can scratch the finish of the bed. Use clean soft cloths to
wash, rinse and dry. With proper care, the quality finish will last a long time. Wood surfaces
may be treated with a light application of a good grade of non-toxic furniture polish
When this toddler bed is no longer needed, follow the assembly instructions in reverse to
dismantle it and store it in a safe and dry place so that it will not pose a danger to any child
Store all hardware and these instructions inside the envelope attached to the mattress base to
keep it safe and handy for future use

Attach an Intermediate Guardrail (C) with 2 Guardrail Sides (B) using four 70mm bolts (N)
and four 16mm Nuts (P) ** Note that the pillars facing outward have NO HOLES.

Attach the two Headboards (A) to the Mattress Support (D) using four 60mm Bolts (M)

Attach the one of the guardrails assembled in Step 1 to the bed frame assembled in Step 2
using six 54mm Bolts (L) and two Cushion Blocks (R).
Repeat for the other side.

Use 2 People For This Step
Place the assembled crib on
top of the assembled platform
base.
Using four 54mm Bolts (L),
attach the Headboard and
Footboard of the crib to the
base from the underside of
the unit.

6USING PRODUCT AS A CRIB
For newborn babies, place the mattress base in the highest position. Once the baby can sit,
remove the mattress support and place the mattress directly on top of the platform base.
Plug the open holes using four 18mm Bolts (H) and four 16mm Nuts (P).

CONVERTING TO A TODDLER BED
Remove the Intermediate Guardrail (C) from each side. Plug the open holes in the Guardrail Sides (B)
using eight 28mm Bolts (J) and eight 16mm Nuts (P).
Re-attach the mattress support in the highest position by bolting each
Headboard to the mattress support using four 60mm Bolts (M). Next,
attach the mattress support to the Guardrail Sides using the four
Cushion Blocks (R) and four 54mm Bolts (L) forming the toddler bed.
Leave the mattress support in the highest position. Remove both Guardrail Sides from ONE side
of the unit and store them for future use.
Attach an Intermediate Guardrail to the opposite side using four
70mm Bolts (N) and four 16mm Nuts (P), forming a day bed as
shown in the diagram.
Plug the open holes in each Headboard and in the
mattress support using six 18mm Bolts (H)
and two 16mm Nuts (P).
