Replacing a lamp module
All TRX lamp modules are in erchangeable and can be used in any posi ion on he ligh bar. This offers he
flexibili y o configure a ligh bar for any mission wi h perfec balance of flood, spo or dual color amber
whi e modules.
Wi h his modular design he replacemen of a TRX Lamp couldn’ be easier. Each module is herme ically
sealed so replacemen will no compromise he wa er igh in egri y of he ligh bar or void he warran y.
To replace a lamp module simply remove he wo lamp clips using a 9/64” hex ool. Unplug he lamp from
he wa erproof connec or, plug he new lamp in and rea ach he lamp clips.
Maintenance
The bes cleaning me hod is o gen ly wash he ligh bar wi h a solu ion of mild soap and lukewarm wa er,
using a sof clo h or sponge o loosen any dir or grime. Thoroughly rinse wi h clean wa er o remove any
cleaner residue and dry he surface wi h a sof clo h o preven wa er spo ing.
If using a high-pressure wa er cleaner and/or a s eam cleaner he pressure should no exceed 1,450psi.
The use of addi ives o he wa er and/or s eam should also be avoided.
Important Considerations for Le an lenses:
• Never use abrasive or highly alkaline cleaners.
• Never use aroma ic or halogena ed solven s like oluene, benzene, gasoline, ace one or carbon
e rachloride.
• Con ac wi h harsh solven s such as me hyl e hyl ke one (MEK) or hydrochloric acid can resul in
surface degrada ion and possible crazing.
• Never scrub lenses wi h brushes, s eel wool or o her abrasive ma erials.
