IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
WARNING READ ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AND ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Failure to follow
instructions and warnings could lead to serious injury, electric shock, or fire. Save ALL warnings
and instructions for future reference.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Ensure that your work area is kept well-lit and clean. Lack of visibility and clutter greatly
increase the risk of accident.
- Keep bystanders and children clear when operating a power tool or machine. They can
cause distraction or risk injury themselves.
- Ensure you are not operating the power tool or machinery in the presence of flammable
gases, dust, liquids, or anything that creates an explosive atmosphere. Power tools and
machinery can create sparks which can lead to ignition in these environments.
PERSONAL SAFETY
- Always wear personal protective equipment. Eye protection, ear protection, dust masks
and other protective equipment will help to reduce the risk of personal injury.
- Dress appropriately. Do NOT wear jewellery or loose clothing that can get caught in
moving parts. Keep hair, loose clothing, jewellery, and anything else that could be of risk
away from moving parts or they could be caught.
- Always remain alert and do NOT operate the power tool or machinery under the
influences of any substances (drugs, medication, alcohol). Losing focus could lead to injury
while operating power tools and machinery.
- Always keep proper footing and balance. Overreaching can lead to slipping and falling
which can result in injury.
- Ensure the power switch is in the off position before connecting any battery or power
source to the power tool or machinery. This can lead to accidents as tools and machinery
can fire suddenly when it is not expected and lead to accident.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Do NOT use the power tool or machinery in raining conditions or wet areas where the
power tool or machinery could get wet. Water in the power tool or machinery can lead to
electric shock.
- Only use the power tool or machinery when the plug correctly matches the power outlet.
Modifying plugs greatly increases the risk of electric shock.
- Keep the power cord away from anything that could damage it such as sharp edges,
moving parts or heat. A damaged power cord increases the risk of electric shock.
- Only operate outdoors with the use of an outdoor extension lead. Not all extension leads
are suited to outdoor use and using one which is not can greatly increase the risk of electric
shock.
- Avoid body contact with grounded or earthed surfaces. Surfaces such as radiators, ranges,
pipes, and refrigerators can increase risk of electric shock due to your body being earthed or
grounded.

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The fan heater is not suitable for use outdoors in damp weather, in bathrooms or in other
wet or damp environments.
- Please note that the fan heater can become very hot and should therefore be placed at a
safe distance from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains and other similar objects or
materials.
- Do not cover the fan heater.
- Do not connect the fan heater using an on/off timer or other equipment which can
automatically switch the device on.
- The fan heater must not be placed in rooms where flammable liquids or gases are used or
stored.
- If an extension cord is used, it must be as short as possible and always be fully extended.
- You must not connect other appliances to the same mains socket as the fan heater.
- Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, or swimming
pool.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician in order to keep
using the heater safely.
- Make sure the heater is always under surveillance and keep animals and children away from
it.
- Do not place the appliance on moving vehicles or somewhere that is easy to be tipped over.
- When not using the appliance for an extended time period, unplug the appliance from the
power source.
- Keep the heater far away from anything that can block the air inlet.
- The power coupler is waterproof when not in use. In order to prevent possible electric shock
or current leakage, never use the appliance with wet hands or when there is water on the
power cord.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this device.

OPERATION
1. Position the fan heater so that it stands upright on a firm surface and at a safe distance from
wet environments and flammable objects.
2. Connect the fan heater to the mains power supply.
3. Set the thermostat knob to the MAX position and let the heater operate at full power.
4. The fan heater will switch on when the heating selector is set to one of the power settings.
5. Once the room reaches the required temperature, the heating element will stop while the
fan keeps running. The element will now start and stop as required to maintain the set
temperature.
6. Before switching off the heater, turn the thermostat to the MIN position and the switch to
the fan position.
7. Let the appliance cool down for 2 minutes then turn off the heater and pull out the plug.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
NOTE: Before doing any cleaning or maintenance on the heater, disconnect it from the mains
power and allow it to cool down.
The enclosure can get dirty easily during operation. To help prevent this, wipe it often with a soft
sponge. For extremely dirty parts, wipe it with a sponge dipped in <50°C water and mild detergent.
Then, dry the heater enclosure with a clean cloth. Be careful not to let water enter the inner of the
appliance.
DO NOT splash water on the heater or use a solvent like gasoline to clean the heater.
To store the heater, clean the cord and plug, dry, and pack it into a plastic bag. When the heater is
cool, cover it with a plastic bag, put it in a packing box, and store it in a dry and well-ventilated area.

TROUBLESHOOTING
You can solve many problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the
suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling the service centre.
Problem Possible Cause Treatment
The heater does not operate,
even when it is plugged in and
the switch and thermostat are
switched on.
The plug is loose, bad
connection.
Pull out the plug, check the
connection of the plug and
socket. Then connect again.
No power in socket outlet.
Insert the plug in a working
socket.
The heating element is glowing.
The input voltage is too high or
too low.
Use power supply according to
the rating on the label.
The air inlet grill is blocked.
Keep the heater far away from
articles like curtains, plastic
bags, paper, and other things
that can cover the inlet.
The appliance didn’t heat up, or
only the ventilator worked.
The switch was not set to the
heating setting.
Turn the switch to the heating
setting.
The thermostat operated.
Turn the thermostat and listen
if there is an open/close noise.
If there is no click and the
thermostat is not damaged, the
heater will automatically switch
on when the appliance is
cooled down.
The self-resetting cut-out
operated.
Turn the heater off and inspect
the blockage of inlet or outlet.
Disconnect the plug and wait
at least 10 minutes for the
protection system to reset
before attempting to restart
the heater.
Abnormal noise The appliance is not standing
upright.
Put the heater on a level
surface.
