TOP PERFORMANCES ha progettato e realizzato per utilizzo
esclusivamente agonistico.
La nuova centralina “DIGITALE” ad “ANTICIPO VARIABILE” è
appositamente studiata per gli scooter d’ ultimissima generazione
Malaguti, i quali sono dotati di un sistema che gestisce i parametri
principali del motore attraverso di una centralina (CDI) a gestione
digitale. Questo sistema permette di variare l’anticipo accensione al
variare del numero di giri motore e delll’apertura valvola carburatore.
La “mappatura” della centralina di produzione non consente di
sfruttare al massimo un motore preparato ad uso sportivo (per
pista), causando facili rotture al gruppo termico.Per questo motivo la
TOP PERFORMANCES ha messo a punto, una centralina con
mappatura specifica che permette di sfruttare al massimo la potenza
dei propri kit (e non solo), con la certezza di disporre della grande
affidibilità che contraddistingue la nostra azienda.

ISTRUZIONI AL MONTAGGIO
1) Smontare le parti di carrozzeria dello scooter per accedere alla
CDI originale.
2) Svitare, con chiave di accensione su OFF, i bulloni che la fissano
al telaio.
3) Staccare, facendo molta attenzione a non danneggiarli, tutti i
cablaggi fra centralina originale e impianto elettrico.
4) Collegare la nuova centralina TOP PERFORMANCES .
N.B.: Iconnettoridellanuovacentralinasonoperfettamentecompatibili
con l’impianto elettrico.
5) Fissarelanuovacentralinaesattamentedov’eracollocatal’originale.
6) Procedere con la calibrazione della centralina (solo se avete
mantenuto il carburatore originale col Solenoide), seguendo
attentamente le operazioni riportate di seguito:
a) Portare la chiave di accensione in posizione “OFF”.
b) Cortocircuitarel’appositoconnettore a 2Vie(cavirosso enero)
utilizzando un pezzo di filo elettrico (vedi foto 1/2/3).
c) Portare la chiave di accensione in posizione “ON”.
d) Aprirecompletamenteilcomandodelgas,attendereduesecondi
circa e richiuderlo.
e) Scollegareilponticellocheaveteinserito nelconnettorea2Vie.
f) Portare la chiave di accensione in posizione “OFF”.
N.B.: Se avete cambiato il carburatore con un tipo senza solenoide,
la calibrazione della centralina non è necessaria.

CONSIGLI
Perilmigliorrendimentodelmotore,Viconsigliamodiusarelubrificanti
di qualità.
• Stoccare l’olio motore usato in un contenitore dotato di tappo di
chiusura. Non miscelare l’olio usato con altre sostanze come fluidi
antigelo o di trasmissione.
• Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini e da fonti di calore.
• Portare l’olio usato presso un centro di smaltimento: la maggior
partedellestazionidiservizio,officinediriparazioneelubrificazione
rapida ritirano gratuitamente gli oli esausti.
• Si consiglia l’utilizzo di guanti resistenti agli idrocarburi.

purposes only.
The new“DIGITAL”control unit with “VARIABLE ADVANCE” has been
especially devised for Malaguti last-generation scooters, as they are
equipped with a system allowing to manage engine main parameters
by means of a digital control unit (CDI). This system allows ignition
advance variation according to the rpm and the carburetor valve
opening.Withthe“mapping”ofastandardcontrolunittheperformance
of a racing engine (for use on racetracks) cannot be fully exploited,
and the cylinder unit can be early broken. This is the reason why
TOP PERFORMANCES developed a control unit with special
mapping to fully exploit the power of its own kits (and not only) and, at
thesame time,toensurethe reliabilityof allthe itemswemanufacture.

ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Remove scooter bodywork to gain access to the original CDI.
2) Turn ignition key to OFF, and then undo bolts fixing it to frame.
3) Payingtheutmostattention,disconnectallwiringharnessesbetween
original control unit and electric system.
4) Connect the new TOP PERFORMANCES control unit.
NOTE: The connectors of the new control unit are fully compatible
with the electric system.
5) Fit the new control unit exactly in the same position of the original
one.
6) Tocalibratecontrolunit,only iftheoriginalcarburetorwith solenoid
valve is used, proceed as follows:
a) Turn the ignition key to “OFF”.
b) Short circuit the 2-way connector (red and black wires) with an
electric wire (see pictures 1/2/3).
c) Turn the ignition key to “ON”.
d) Fully open throttles, wait for two seconds, and then close them
again.
e) Disconnect the jumper made on the 2-way connector.
f) Turn the ignition key to “OFF”.
NOTE: If the original carburetor has been replaced with another one
without solenoid valve, the control unit will not have to be
calibrated.

TIPS
To ensure the best engine performance, we recommend using high-
quality lubricants.
• Store used engine oil in a vessel with sealing cap.Do not mix used
oilwithanyothersubstancesuchasantifreezeortransmissionfluids.
• Keep away from children and any heat source.
• Bring used oil to an authorised waste disposal company: most
service stations, repair and quick-lubrication garages usually take
in used oil for free.
• We recommend using hydrocarbon-resistant gloves.

une utilisation affectée uniquement à la compétition.
La nouvelle centrale “NUMERIQUE” avec “AVANCE VARIABLE” est
spécialement étudiée pour les scooters Malaguti de très dernière
génération,lesquelssontéquipésd’unsystèmequigèrelesparamètres
principaux du moteur par l’entremise d’une centrale (CDI) à gestion
numérique.Cesystèmepermetdevarierl’avanceàl’allumageselonla
variation du nombre des tours du moteur et l’ouverture de la soupape
du carburateur. La “cartographie” d’une centrale montée de série ne
permet pas d’exploiter à fond un moteur préparé pour une utilisation
de sport (sur piste) et peut facilement provoquer des ruptures à
l’ensemble cylindre-piston.C’est pourquoi TOP PERFORMANCES
a étudié une centrale avec une cartographie spécifique, permettant
d’exploiter jusqu’au bout la puissance de ses propres kits (ainsi que
de la concurrence) forte de la grande fiabilité que le savoir-faire de
notre entreprise a toujours témoignée.

CONSIGNES DE MONTAGE
1) Déposerlesélémentsdelacarrosserieduscooterpouravoiraccès
à la CDI d’origine.
2) Clé de contact sur OFF, desserrer les boulons la fixant au cadre.
3) Débranchertouteslesliaisonsentrelacentraled’origineetlecircuit
électrique, en faisant très attention à ne pas leurs porter préjudice.
4) Relier la nouvelle centrale TOP PERFORMANCES .
N.B.: Les connecteurs de la nouvelle centrale sont parfaitement
compatibles avec le circuit électrique.
5) Fixer la nouvelle centrale exactement à la même position où se
trouvait la centrale d’origine.
6) Passerau calibragedela centrale (uniquementsi vousavezgardé
le carburateur d’origine avec Solénoïde) suivant scrupuleusement
les actions ci-dessous :
a) Tourner la clé de contact en position “OFF”.
b) Court-circuiter le connecteur à 2 Voies prévu à cet effet (fils
rougeetnoir)àl’aide d’unmorceau defil électrique (voirphotos
1/2/3).
c) Tourner la clé de contact en position “ON”.
d) Ouvriràfondlamanettedesgaz,attendreenvirondeuxsecondes
et la refermer.
e) Déconnecterle cavalierqu’onavaitprécédemmentappliqué au
connecteur à 2 Voies.
f) Tourner la clé de contact en position “OFF”.
N.B.: Si vous avez remplacé le carburateur par un autre de type sans
solénoïde,lecalibrage dela centralene s’avèrepas nécessaire.

CONSEILS
Pour une performance optimale du moteur, nous Vous conseillons
d’utiliser des lubrifiants de qualité.
• Stockerl’huilemoteurusagéedansunconteneurpourvudebouchon
de fermeture.Ne pas mélanger l’huile usagée avec d’autres fluides
antigel ou de transmission.
• Conserver hors de la portée des enfants et à l’écart des sources de
chaleur.
• Porter l’huile usagée auprès d’un centre préposé à l’évacuation :
la plupart des stations-service, des ateliers de réparation et de
graissage rapide retirent les huiles usagées à titre gratuit.
• Il est recommandé d’utiliser des gants de protection contre les
hydrocarbures.

especialmente diseñada para los scooters de última generación
Malaguti, equipados con un sistema que gestiona los parámetros

INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE
1) Desmontar las partes de carrocería del scooter para acceder a la
CDI original.
2) Desatornillar, con llave de encendido en OFF, los bulones que la
fijan al bastidor.
3) Desconectar, prestando mucha atención a no dañarlos, todos
los cableados entre central original y sistema eléctrico.
4) Conectar la nueva central TOP PERFORMANCES .
Nota: Los conectores de la nueva central son perfectamente
compatibles con el sistema eléctrico.
5) Fijarlanuevacentralexactamentedondeseencontrabalaoriginal.
6) Calibrar la central (solo si se ha guardado el carburador
original con solenoide), siguiendo atentamente las operaciones
indicadas a continuación:
a) Colocar la llave de encendido en posición “OFF”.
b) Cortocircuitar el conector de 2 vías (cables rojo y negro)
utilizando un trozo de hilo eléctrico (véase foto 1/2/3).
c) Colocar la llave de encendido en posición “ON”.
d) Abrir completamente el mando del acelerador, esperar
aproximadamente dos segundos y cerrarlo.
e) Desconectar el puente introducido en el conector de 2 vías.
f) Colocar la llave de encendido en posición “OFF”.
Nota: Si se ha sustituido el carburador con un tipo sin solenoide, la
calibración de la central no es necesaria.

RECOMENDACIONES
Para un mejor rendimiento del motor, recomendamos utilizar
lubrificantes de buena calidad.
• Almacenar el aceite motor utilizado en un contenedor con tapón
de cierre. No mezclar el aceite usado con otras sustancias, como
fluidos antihielo o de transmisión.
• Mantener fuera del alcance de los niños y lejos de fuentes de calor.
• Llevar el aceite usado a un centro de reciclaje: la mayoría de las
estacionesdeservicio,talleresdereparaciónydelubricaciónrápida
lo retiran de manera gratuita.
• Se recomienda el uso de guantes resistentes a los hidrocarburos.

gewählt haben, die TOP PERFORMANCES ausschließlich für
den Wettkampfeinsatz entworfen und hergestellt hat.
Das neue „DIGITALE” Steuergerät mit „VARIABLER
ZÜNDVORVERSTELLUNG” wurde extra für die Malaguti Scooter der
neustenGenerationentwickelt,diemiteinemSystemausgestattetsind,
das die Hauptparameter des Motors über ein Steuergerät (CDI) mit
digitalemManagementsteuert.DiesesSystemermöglichtdieVariation
der Zündvorverstellung bei Änderung der Motordrehzahl und der
Vergaserventilöffnung.Das„Mapping”desserienmäßigenSteuergeräts
ermöglicht es nicht, die von einem für den sportlichen Einsatz (für die
Rennstrecke) getunten Motor gebotene Höchstleistung auszunutzen
undführtschnellzuBeschädigungenanderZylindereinheit.Ausdiesem
Grund hat die Firma TOP PERFORMANCES ein Steuergerät mit
einemspezifischenMappingvorbereitet,dasesermöglicht,dieLeistung
der von ihr (und nicht nur) herstellten Kits maximal auszunutzen; mit
derSicherheit,übereinProduktmithoherZuverlässigkeitzuverfügen,
die unser Unternehmen auszeichnet.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
1) DieVerkleidungsteiledesScootersabnehmen,umandasOriginal-
CDI zu gelangen.
2) Bei auf OFF stehendem Zündschlüssel die Bolzen lösen, mit
denen es am Rahmen befestigt ist.
3) Alle Verkabelungen zwischen dem Original-Steuergerät und der
elektrischen Anlage trennen und dabei darauf achten, dass sie
nicht beschädigt werden.
4) Das neue TOP PERFORMANCES Steuergerät anschließen.
HINWEIS: DieVerbinder des neuen Steuergeräts sind perfekt mit der
elektrischen Anlage kompatibel.
5) DasneueSteuergerätgenau in der Positionbefestigen,in der sich
das Original-Steuergerät befand.
6) Das Steuergerät kalibrieren (nur wenn Sie den Original-Vergaser
mit Solenoid beibehalten haben); hierzu die nachstehenden
Arbeitsschritte aufmerksam befolgen:
a) Den Zündschlüssel auf „OFF” stellen.
b) Den entsprechenden 2 Wege-Verbinder (rote und schwarze
Kabel) mit einem Stück elektrischen Draht kurzschließen
(siehe Fotos 1/2/3).
c) Den Zündschlüssel auf „ON” stellen.
d) Die Gassteuerung ganz öffnen, ungefähr zwei Sekunden lang
warten, dann wieder zudrehen.
e) Die am 2 Wege-Verbinder angebrachte Überbrückung
entfernen.
f) Den Zündschlüssel auf „OFF” stellen.
HINWEIS: Sollten Sie den Vergaser durch einen Typ ohne Solenoid
ersetzt haben, ist keine Kalibrierung des Steuergeräts
erforderlich.

EMPFEHLUNGEN
Um die maximale Motorleistung zu erreichen, empfehlen wir
hochwertige Schmiermittel zu verwenden.
• DasverbrauchteMotorölineinemverschließbarenBehältersammeln.
Das Altöl nicht mit anderen Substanzen wie Frostschutzmittel oder
Getriebeflüssigkeiten mischen.
• Ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und nicht in der Nähe von
Hitzequellen lagern.
• DasAltölineinEntsorgungszentrumbringen:diemeistenTankstellen,
Reparatur- und Schnellservicewerkstätten nehmen Altöl kostenlos
entgegen.
• WirempfehlenHandschuhezuverwenden,diegegenKohlenwasserstoff
resistent sind.

DieGarantiebeschränktsichaufdenErsatzvonTeilen,derenDefekt
durch Motorparts S.p.A. anerkannt wurde.Es darf unter keinen
UmständeneinvonunshergestelltesProduktanFahrzeugenverbaut
werden, dessen Kompatibilität nicht angegeben ist.
Die Garantie wird in folgenden Fällen nicht anerkannt:
a) Umänderung oder Handhabung des Produktes;
b) unsachgemässe/r Montage oder Gebrauch;
c) Ersatz von Teilen des Kits durch Produkte, die nicht von Top
Performances stammen;
