UCA2 is designed as reliable coin acceptors which are able to work steadily
in high temperature for high-security with acceptance rate up to 96% or
greater.

• Low power consumption.
• Mechanical and electrical anti-string functions.
• Accepting speed up to 3 coins per second.
• CS100 Coin dispenser supports UCA2.
• Remote control: Multiple function commands are issued
• Can operate in high temperature environments.
• Can receive 8 currencies at the same time

5-3. Installation Notes
Please follow the steps below to install the UCA2 .
1. Use four screws to fix bezel on the machine
2. Fix main base on bezel by mounting clips.

Installation Precautions :
• UCA2 is not supposed to be aslope over 3°。
• To make sure UCA2 work smoothly, install machine farther than 3 cm from
metal items is recommended.

6. Maintenance
To make sure UCA2 always works smoothly, please clean the internal sensors
regularly：
To clean the internal sensors:
1. Remove bezel by releasing mounting clips and pulling it out.
2. Release the clip and remove lower base cover plate and hood.
3. Use a soft, dry cloth, or towel to clean lens

4. Open upper base cover plate and then use a soft, dry cloth, or towel to
clean sensor.

1. Transmission Specification
Transmission Method : Full Duplex Transmission
Transmission Speed : 9600 Baud Rate
Synchronizing Method : Asynchronous Method
Data Format : Start bit 1, Data bit 8, Parity bit none, Stop bit 1
2. General Message Command Format
SYNC + LNG + CMD + DATA + EXT + CS
Name Byte Contents
SYNC 1 start code , [90H] fixed
LNG 1 Data Length (Total number of bytes from SYNC to
checksum)
CMD 1 Command
DATA 0~250 Data necessary for command( omitted by CMD )
EXT 1 End code , [03H] fixed
CS 1 checksum by SUM result method without carry ( from
SYNC to EXT )
There are 2 types of messages used :
Format-1 without DATA : SYNC + LNG + CMD + EXT + CS or SYNC + LNG +
CMD + CS
Format-2 with DATA : SYNC + LNG + CMD + DATA + EXT + CS or SYNC + LNG
+ CMD + DATA + CS
