SHORT DESCRIPTION
The EX30-OCS has been developed to make it easy to clean edges, corners and small areas. When
used with special pads, these machines can also be used to strip or grind/polish parquet floors
without the use of chemicals. The plastic bumper around the machines makes it possible to work
accurately in corners. The Topfloor Oscillating floor cleaning method is unique: 2,850 movements
a minute. This makes the effect of the pads unrivalled. The machine is easy to use and requires
no effort, because it is as if the machine hovers over the floor.
Specifications:
Required connections: 220 VAC, 50-60 Hz, 8A with protective earthing and residual current device!

Almost all accidents are the result of:
reducedconcentration, inadvertence,
negligence or misjudgement!
Work slowly and carefully:
You have been warned!
NOTE!
You are using an electric machine and
(scrubbing) water. Make sure the Protective
earthing and residual current device work
correctly. Regularly check the power cable
for damage. Repair a damaged cable immediately,
even ifthe damage is small. Consider your own
safety!
Wear hearing protection!
Wear a dust mask when dry sanding!
Wear safety shoes withrubber anti-skid
soles!
Removethe plug fromthe plugsocket:
− Immediately after finishing the work.
− When changing the pad.
− During maintenance.
− During repairs.

USE
•
MAINTENANCE
Daily
This quick-start guide is intended foruse asabrief
user guide,and does not replace the operator’s user
manual – which is available online.
Check the colour fastness and theshape
stability of the floor beforecleaning the
floor using the the Topfloor oscillating cleaning
method.
•
Carry the machineto the location where
it is going to be used.
•
Before using the machine, make sure the
right pad for the job is fitted to the machine.
•
Make sure the switch is in the OFF position.
•
Insert the plug into an earthed plug socket.
•
Place the switch in the ON position. The engine
starts and the pad starts moving. NEVER ALLOW
THEMACHINE TO RUN WHILE IT IS NOT BEING
MOVED. THIS CAN DAMAGE THE FLOOR.
•
When working, you can effortlessly move the
machine in every direction. Work in straight lines
(forwards and backwards), not by moving the
machine from left to right.
•
Immediately turn off themachine when you stop
working so as not to damage the floor. Remove
the plug from the plug socket.
•
Check the pad for wear. A worn pad reduces
the working speed,and cleaning performance.
•
After using chemical cleaning products, wipe
the machine down with a dampcloth to
prevent thechemical product from affecting
the stainless steel parts.
•
Check for loose nuts and bolts.
Monthly
•
Check whether thegrip pad under thepad
holder still provides enough grip to hold the
pad firmly.
•
Check the vibration rubbers forcracks.
Yearly
•
Have the machine tested according tothe
compulsory regulations of the countrywhere
the machine is being used, to ensure it passes
the occupational health and safety test for
electrical machines.
Changing the pad
The pad is attached to the plate using Velcro.
•
Turn off the machine.
•
Remove the plug from the plug socket.
•
Tip the machineonits sidesothat the handle
rests on the ground and the pad is vertical.
•
Pull the padoff the base plate.
•
Carefully attach a new pad to the base plate
and push it firmly in place.
•
Return the machine to the upright position.
•
Insert the plug into the plug socket.
•
Turn on the machine. You cannowcontinue
using it.
